Chloe

As the relentless sun blazed overhead, casting its searing heat upon the members of the Red MoonPack and our guests from the Frost Fang Pack, we all gathered in the open clearing.

Sharing valuable pieces of information and conducting training to strengthen our packs, those werematters agreed upon by the Red Moon Pack and the Frost Fang Pack. Since strengthening the packwas one of our priorities, we didn't waste any time and immediately scheduled a training by theFrost Fang Pack.

As the Alpha of the Red Moon Pack, I thought everything was going smoothly. I didn't take intoconsideration the state of mind of my pack members.

No matter what their reason was, the Frost Fang Pack's attack was still fresh in my pack members’mind. Thus, although they were attending the training as I had ordered, I could clearly see thenegative expressions on their faces

Especifically, everyone's faces bore expressions of clear discontent when their gazes settled on Blakeand Idris, who stood at the forefront. I arched an eyebrow in response, sensing the lingeringreluctance of my proud pack members to accept outsiders, particularly those who attacked them, guiding their training.

Blake remained stoic, unperturbed by my pack member's blatant disapproval. On the other hand,Idris couldn't hide his irritation, his features marred by annoyance.

"I will first give you a simple introduction before going to the demonstrations.”

"The art of assassination takes on a mysterious and fascinating form. It's not merely about stealthilyending someone's life, it's a complex blend of cunning, precision, and the harnessing ofsupernatural abilities,” although he was irritated, Idris religiously explained.

"As an assassin, you are akin to a phantom of the night, trained to move without making a soundand to remain unseen by all..."

"Your knowledge must run deep... understanding the anatomy and vulnerabilities of both humanand werewolf forms. The craft of poison is a potent tool in your arsenal, your greatest weapon..."The dialogue unfolded, with Idris delving into the intricate art of assassination. He explained thenuances and strategies, with Blake lending his assistance for the demonstrations.

I watched them intently, and though the Red Moon Pack members appeared to be listening, a cloudof skepticism hung over them.

“They know they have to learn from Blake and Idris, but they are very reluctant to do so... if thiscontinued, then this training would be a waste of time..." I thought with a frown

'What are you going to do, Blake?" I thought as I looked around my pack members. Even Caleb, whois known for his unwavering discipline, wore a hostile expression that seemed aimed directly atBlake.

No... In fact, Caleb's hostility was the most palpable among the others. It was as if he were sendinginvisible daggers towards Blake.

'Oh? Could it be... that he realized that Alpha Sabre has the same identity as Blake, the Lycan King?’Alarmed, I couldn't help but think for a moment before dismissing that thought.

'No, that couldn't be. Otherwise... it wouldn't end just like this..."

“But why is Caleb so hostile against Blake?" Caleb was always calm and reliable, seeing him like that, Icouldn't help but raise a brow.

Fortunately, Blake carried on, seemingly oblivious to Caleb's animosity, focusing solely on thetraining.

After the end of Idris and Blake's demonstration, Idris announced, "Group yourselves into two andfollow the actions we just demonstrated now."

While the pack members were busy grouping themselves, suddenly, Caleb's voice carried anundertone of polite sarcasm as he turned his attention to Blake.

"Alpha Sabre," he began, a sly smile playing at his lips, “since you've graced us with your presence, how about giving us a personal demonstration of your skills? As the Alpha of the Frost Pang Pack, would you give me the honor of personally teaching me?

"How about the two of us spar for a bit?"

A clear provocation. Although he called it a spar, it was obvious that Caleb was challenging Blake.

I was startled while a collective tension settled over the clearing as everyone here experienced thefight when the Frost Fang Pack first arrived in the pack. Everyone had a taste of Blake's power. Thus,a lot of the members started getting worried that Caleb would get hurt and so most of the packmembers turned to look at me, asking me with their eyes to stop Caleb.

However, I surprised them all by simply watching, my expression neutral.

Blake turned to look at Caleb and raised a brow. And ever composed, he considered Caleb's requestbefore nodding.

"Very well, Caleb. I accept your challenge. But let's make this interesting." A collective gasp washeard around the pack. Caleb's eyes turned colder as he asked, "What do you suggest?"

"I get something if I win and vice versa," Blake responded calmly.

Caleb's curiosity piqued, and he raised an eyebrow. "You want a prize for the winner?”

"Well, what do you want if you win?"

Blake's response was unexpected. “I don't want anything from you, Caleb," he said with a small, enigmatic smile.

"But Alpha Chloe can grant the prize,” he suddenly said, making the field filled with murmurs"What? He wants something from the Alpha?!"

"How presumptuous!”

"This Alpha Sabre... Isn't he being too much?" The crowd angrily murmured.

However, Blake ignored and continued, "Of course, if you win, you can have a prize too. If AlphaChloe agrees with this, of course.”

My eyes narrowed as I stared at Blake. A prize? What are you planning, Blake? But no matter how Itried, I could not see through his thoughts.

On the other hand Caleb, however, grew suspicious. "What kind of prize are you talking about,Alpha Sabre?" He hissed.

Blake met Caleb's gaze evenly. "A home-cooked meal by Alpha Chloe herself.”

Suddenly, my thoughts raced back to a time when I used to cook for Blake. Back in the past... Iwould always make food for Blake. But ever since the tragedy of the Red Moon Pack... I never heldcooking instruments anymore.

'So, he wanted me to cook for him? My heart that has been calm all this time started racing.

"A home-cooked meal by Chloe..." Caleb muttered, the tips of his ears getting red. I blinked insurprise, could it also be because of the heat?

"Well, do you agree with this Alpha Chloe? The winner will get to enjoy your home-cooked meal,"Blake asked, immediately catching my attention back.

"What a unique prize Alpha Sabre. How dare you dream of eating the food that I made?,” I said witha cold voice, making everyone turn quiet.

"But since it's a prize for a spar, then I will reluctantly agree," I added before a smirk form on my lips."The of you, do your best in your spar.”
