Feelings through poetry
Poem 13 - Trapped

Here I’m trapped in this world,

I curled up on the ground; I think it used to be brown,

The darkness gave me a frown.

Before I was grown, everything was nice,

I played a game called Transformice!

Now it’s all melting like ice.

Can I ask for advice? What do you do when you’re trapped?

Feeling like nothing matters?

Should you cry for help?

Welp, crying doesn’t help.

Can’t go anywhere, everything is closed.

I’m trapped; I curled up on the ground, thinking this is a nightmare,

But the world gave me a frown.

It’s so stressful; this is just depressing.

It’s all messing with me, everyone else too,

So I curled up on the ground, realizing it’s real,

I dropped a tear.
