Feelings through poetry
Poem 14 - Tired

I’m so tired; It makes me wired,

I want to sleep, but my head is spinning,

The world around me is grinning,

It’s just all so tiring!

My tiredness is winning.

It wants to sleep and a new beginning.

What is it bringing?

Have I been sinning?

Why is the world not shining?

I keep whining, lying in my bed, staring into a wall,

Why is the world so tall? I can’t even go to the mall.

Curling up in a ball, wishing it would go away.

I’m so tired; It’s going to get me fired,

I’m wired and tired.

It makes me sad. Yet, I too feel bad,

It should make me mad.

I feel unfortunate and wrong,

Tired and wired, wishing the world would go away.
