Third-Person Narrative

By the early hours of the next day, Lucia had completely healed Gina from all the scars that were inflicted on her by Lucas Amel.

Using her magical powers, Lucia lifted Gina off the ground and transported her back home.

Luckily, the triplets were not in her apartment when they arrived. So, she carefully placed Gina on the bed and covered her with a duvet.

Carefully placing her hand on Gina’s forehead, she magically blurred out all the memories of her being maltreated by Lucas Amel.

Satisfied with her work, she went back to her room to sleep.

Despite being outraged at the level of cruelty Lucas displayed towards Gina, Lucia was willing to give him another opportunity to realize his mistake and make amends.

Early the next morning, Gina woke up from the bed to replace herself all alone in the bed. She wondered where the triplets had gone.

She was about to get up from the bed when she heard the sitting room door open.

From the person’s scent, she could tell that it was Devon. Thinking that her triplet may have gone out earlier than usual, she got up and casually walked out of her room to say hello to him.

“Hey, good morning,” she said to a stunned-looking Devon, who could not believe his eyes.

“Gina?” He called out her name as if to make sure that she was indeed the one standing before him.

He quickly ran towards her and hugged her tight, as if scared of letting her go. She was a little confused by his behavior but did not want to break the hug, which she found very comfy.

“I am so happy you are back,” he said, placing feathery k****s all over her neckline and her lips.

“Stop playing; I didn’t go anywhere,” She said playfully, thinking Devon was trying to tease her.

Gina found his behavior very bemusing, as she kept wondering what type of game he was trying to play.

Devon quickly sent a mind link to his brothers, and within seconds, Derrick and Denver joined them.

Like Devon, his two brothers were also surprised to see Gina.

Derrick and Denver quickly ran to hug Gina, who was surprised as she couldn’t understand what was going on.

“We missed you so much,” Derrick said, while Denver just kept holding on to her.

“Where have you been,” Denver questioned, checking out her body as if attempting to see if she had any injuries on her.

They had all believed that she was kidnapped, so it wouldn’t be too strange to see scars, marks, and bruises over her body.

But what he did not expect was to see her looking spotlessly clean and if anything, she looked way better than she did before she went missing.

“You had us worried,” Devon commented, unable to hide his excitement.

“Okay, guys, what is going on? Why are you all acting a little weird? We were all together last night; why are you making it look like I have been gone for a long?” She questioned them, pulling away from their hold.

Despite thinking that they might be pranking her, she was getting overwhelmed by the whole attention she was getting from them.

“We should be asking you that. Where you have been; you had us all worried. How did you come back here without any of the guards seeing you?” Denver said to her, his voice uneasily cold.

“What do you mean by where have I been? You guys, stop playing with me,” she said, wearing a half-hearted laugh.

“We are not joking, Gina,” he said, in a stern voice that immediately told Gina that he was not joking.

“We have been searching for you non-stop for the past five days; where are you?” He questioned a confused-looking Gina.

She stared at them confused, not knowing what to do or say.

Just then, Lucia walked out of her room to see Gina with her mates.

“You are welcome, mistress,” she said as she ran to hug Gina.

Gina is even more confused as she stood just speechless staring at everyone.

The news of Gina’s return quickly spread across the pack, and when Lucas Amel heard of it,

He is in doubt and, at the same time, terrified. Despite being told that Gina does not remember anything, he decided that he must visit the palace to replace out things for himself.

When he got to the palace, he saw the alpha king asking Gina questions regarding where she had been.

But Gina kept insisting that she did not know what was happening, as she was certain that she didn’t leave her apartment and that even if she did, she could not remember anything.

Lucas is surprised to hear what Gina was saying and was more than amazed by the fact that Gina’s body was free of all the scars he had inflicted on her.

Even though he suspected that Lucia may have helped Gina, he didn’t understand why. And if Lucia was truly helping Gina, then why would she make Gina forget all that happened to her?

When the king could not get any information from Gina, he dismissed her and asked her to come and speak with him should in case she remembered anything.

Gina thanked the alpha king for his kindness and made to leave the chambers when she saw Lucas.

Gina, upon seeing Lucas Amel, greeted him respectfully before leaving the king’s chambers.

Lucas was just too stunned to respond to Gina’s greeting, and this did not go unnoticed by the king. But he chose to ignore it since there was no evidence linking Lucas Amel to Gina’s disappearance.

Lucas accused Gina of lying about not knowing where she has been, and that she probably ran away to go and stay with her lowlife boyfriends, and was only back because they may have rejected her.

But, the alpha King tells Lucas Amel that, he believes Gina and that he suspects some form of sorcery, and that Lucas and the guards should tighten the border’s security.

Lucas Amel then asked about his daughter’s coronation as Luna, which was supposed to take place in less than two days.

The alpha king asks him to be patient and that now that Gina was back, they will have to perform the Luna ritual to determine who should be Luna.

Lucas Amel pretends to be fine with the king’s decisions, but deep down, he was furious.

After the meeting with the king ended, he decided to go and see Gwen. But, she did not come out to honor his call because she was furious at her father’s inability to take care of Gina once and for all, and also she feared getting to replace out about her little secret.

Lucas Amel left the palace very bothered, and he felt that the king and Gina were up to something.

He went home and was about to enter the house when he remembered Anesi’s apprentice, whom he had locked up.

He went to her and asked her what she could do to help him. Mara told him that she could do just about anything, so long as he was willing to pay.

Lucas asked her to try to escape from the dungeon and she transformed herself into a tiny insect and flew outside the dungeon.

Pleased with her performance, he notified her that her first job would be to help him deliver a message to his daughter.

****”

All through the day, the triplets ensured that they never left Gina’s side. They followed her everywhere, and that made Gwen very angry.

So angry that she became nauseous and emptied her entire stomach into a sink.

The past few days have been difficult for Gwen; she has been feverish and reacting to every smell that comes into contact with her nose.

She feared what her body was telling her—she couldn’t be pregnant. She would rather not be pregnant. How could she have been so stupid enough to let an omega impregnate her?

She knew once the alpha king or the triplet gets to know that she is pregnant, they wouldn’t hesitate to throw her out of the palace.

Even though she knew very well that Samuel might have fathered the child, she was looking for ways to make the triplets take responsibility for her pregnancy.

She was so determined to pin her pregnancy on one or all three of the triplets. She didn’t have any idea how she was going to do that yet, but she was going to do it.

She was about to lie back on her bed when she saw an owl perching on her window.

She is curious and a little scared as to how the owl got there, but within seconds, the owl turned into Mara.

Gwen is scared and made to run away, but she is stopped by Mara, who magically locked the door.

“Who are you, and what do you want?” Gwen asks in fright.

“My name is Mara, and I was sent by your father to give you a message,” Mara said to Gina.

Gwen’s fear gradually faded into fascination as she listened to her father’s messages. Which mainly spoke of his undying love for her and that she should rest assured that he was not preventing her in his quest to ensure that she became the queen.

When Mara was done delivering the message she was sent, she tried to leave but was stopped by Gwen.

“I need a favor from you,” she said to Mara, “but I will tell my father when and where I will need you.” She sends Mara.

Meanwhile, Gina and her triplet were in her apartment talking and wanting to know if she remembered anything, but she kept insisting that she did not remember anything.

She was beginning to feel sick, as it was already late at night. Slowly, she closed her eyes and almost immediately, she started dreaming of someone was flogging her up so badly.

Even though she could not exactly see who it was, she could tell that it was a man. The beating was so real that she creamed out of her sleep.

The triplets quickly surrounded her and asked her what the problem was, and she tells them about the one she just had.

The triplet believed that the dream was somewhat connected to her disappearance but assured her that they would not let any harm come to her.
