Hello, Mr. Brent
Chapter 95

Franklin was in a meeting when Jason hurried into the room andwhispered in his ear, "Lisa called and said Miss Johnson was missing.”"What?" Franklin's face suddenly changed and he stood upimmediately.

As he left in a hurry, others looked puzzled.

Franklin, who was an old head on young shoulders, seemed to havenever been so flustered in others’ eyes. Therefore, they were reallycurious about that, especially the people in the Brents.

"Do you know what happened?" Franklin's uncle asked Ryan.

Ryan shook his head, “I don't know. It might be about his personalbusiness.”

When the others heard this, they all showed curiosity. They wonderedwhat the private business was, which made Franklin, who had alwaysbeen calm and collected, so flustered.

"What's going on?" Franklin asked as he walked.

Then Jason added, "I don't know. Lisa called, saying that Miss. Johnsonwas missing. She has searched all over the villa but didn't replace her. Shedidn't bring her cell phone with her, and it was left on the desk in thestudy. Besides, we have seen the surveillance footage but we didn't replaceMiss. Johnson leaving the house. So...”

"So you're telling me that Emily disappears for no reason?" Franklinstopped and said coldly.

Jason lowered his head.

Franklin strode forward with a gloomy face and quickly walked into theelevator to the garage, asking Jason to drive him to The Brent'sResidence.

When Franklin arrived, Mrs. Brent was already waiting for him in theliving room.

Seeing him come in, she quickly stood up and said, "Franklin, it hasnothing to do with me. I gave her an account book and asked her toexamine it. I just want her to learn the most basic things. But I don'texpect her to disappear suddenly when she is examining the books inthe study. I am so anxious that I even want to do a grid search of thewhole house.”

Ivy also explained, "Yes, Franklin, auntie is right. Auntie and I have beendrinking tea in the garden, and we don't know that until Lisa comesover to tell us."

"Lisa, what's going on?" Franklin asked coldly.

Lisa hurriedly walked up to Franklin, lowered her head, and said guiltily,"Mr. Brent, I'm sorry. It is my fault. Mrs. Brent is right. Miss Johnson wasexamining the books at first. I was afraid to disturb her, so I went outfor a walk. However, when I came back, Miss Johnson was gone, and Iwent to many places but I couldn't replace her.”

"Any clues?" Franklin asked.

Lisa looked up at him and shook her head gently.

Franklin frowned and asked Lisa, "Which room was she in?"

Lisa quickly led Franklin in.

When they entered, Lisa said in a low voice, "I see a cup of tea on thetable, which is probably not made by Miss. Johnson. Therefore, Isecretly ask the servants, but none of them have served the tea, andthey are not willing to say more. I don't know who else comes heretoday. If you ask them, maybe they would tell you something.”Franklin glanced at the teacup and immediately went out to ask Mrs.Brent, "Who else is here today?"

"Who else is here?" Mrs. Brent glanced at Ivy, and she also shook herhead.

Then Mrs. Brent looked at the butler and asked. He said. "Young MasterAlan is here. He says he's here to see if there's anything else he couldhelp.”

"Alan? Why don't I know when he comes? Where is he?" Mrs. Brentasked immediately.

"Well..." The butler looked embarrassed.

Mrs. Brent snapped, "I'm asking you! Where is he?"

The butler said quickly, "I don't know! We never have to entertain himwhen he comes, so we don't know where he is now."

"Hurry up and look for him. Emily has disappeared, and so has he. Howridiculous!" Mrs. Brent roared,

The butler nodded quickly and ordered the servants to search for themtogether.

Ten minutes later, the butler returned with his men and said to Mrs.Brent with an embarrassed look, "Madam, I'm sorry, we don't replaceYoung Master Alan, but we have checked the surveillance, replaceing thathe doesn't leave, either.”

"Ah, Emily and Alan are missing together,” Ivy said in surprise.Franklin's face turned even gloomier, and he stared at Mrs. Brent withdark eyes.

Mrs. Brent coughed softly and said, "Ivy, don't talk nonsense. Theydon't know each other. How can they disappear together? If you can'treplace them, just keep doing that. How can the two people disappear forno reason? Even if you turn the Brents upside down, you have to replacethem."

"You two go and look for them too, no matter where it is, you cansearch it." Franklin said to Lisa and Jason.

The two nodded and hurried to look everywhere for them.

Franklin was sitting on the sofa, side by side with Mrs. Brent.

From time to time, he glanced at Mrs. Brent, which even made Ivy, whowas beside Mrs. Brent, could not help but tremble.

Mrs. Brent seemed to be getting impatient with his gaze and couldn'thelp but say, "You think I have done anything to Emily, don't you? I'mnot that stupid to make trouble for her on the first day she comes.”"But she has disappeared now," Franklin said coldly.

Mrs. Brent said anxiously, "I'm more anxious than you are. She hasdisappeared from my house. No matter what, I am involved in thismatter. I wish she could show up as soon as possible so that she canprove that I am innocent. Well, she's indeed a troublemaker. At first, Iwant to help her, since you married her and she's part of the Brents. However, I don't expect that she would make a lot of trouble. Whenyou replace her, just take her away! I can't teach her anything. She'smissing in the daytime. What the hell does she want?"

Franklin frowned. Mrs. Brent's words were so vivid and emphatic that hecouldn't tell whether she was telling the truth or not for a while.

But there was one thing she was right about. If anything happened toEmily in the house, it would be her fault.

At most, she would teach Emily a lesson but she dared not to doanything to her. Otherwise, this would not do her any good.

"You'd better tell the truth. I don't believe what you'll do to Emily athome," Franklin said coldly.

Mrs. Brent said anxiously, "You still don't believe me. If you really don't,call the police! Tell the police to replace them.”

"Call the police? Should I tell them that my wife is missing in my house? If it is spread out, who will others laugh at? The Brents? Or me?"

"But you don't believe me. What can I do?" Mrs. Brent said anxiously.Franklin frowned and clenched his fists.

Ivy urged anxiously, "Franklin, I can swear that this has nothing to dowith auntie. We are also very anxious that Emily has disappeared. Youdon't know that aunties face turned pale with fear when she heard thenews."

Just then, Jason ran down the stairs and said to Franklin, "Mr. Brent, Ifound them.”

Franklin stood up abruptly and strode forward.

But before he could go upstairs, Emily and Alan went downstairs.

Both of them were wet with their hair matted.

It would be strange that no one would misunderstand them when thetwo of them showed together like that.

Instantly, Franklin's face darkened and he looked at them with a heavygaze. If his look could be turned into a knife, he would have alreadykilled them.
