Theodore

We ended up making it the entire way to our dining room and I didn't have to kill my Gamma. Melony thought she was sly, but I could see her from the corner of my eye antagonizing Mark. Poking her little tongue out at him when I became angry. She was so adorable. Her shananagains always throw me off guard. Sure, to some people it may seem immature, but I love the fact she is so full of life and goofy. I have never really found that in myself, so she brings life to me, happiness, goofiness. All the things I am not, Melony is and so much more. Her dancing her little heart away and busting out a tune in her room when no one was around, swelled my heart. I knew that is exactly who she is. Some people change around others but she is just herself 100% of the time. I admire that about her. She doesn't hold back what needs to be said. She knows there is a time to be serious and careful with her words, but she can still make a room fill with laughter in a matter of seconds. I suppose my father was right, she does remind me of my mother. My mother, Luna Julie, was the heart and soul of this pack. Everyone loved her. She cared for all the members as if they were her own. She made everyone smile, and also had no problem putting someone in their place if need be. I couldn't help but ponder what it would be like around her with mom and Melony together. Dad would probably have a heart attack, and I would most definitely be bald. I can't help but giggle thinking of all the antics they could get themselves into.

Melony places her hand on mine, with a smile shinning in her eyes. "What has you so happy babe?"

"My life, Mel, my life makes me happy. You, and all the joy you bring to it. I couldn't help but think of how much you would have loved my mother. You two would have been the best of friends, and up to no good, without a doubt." I gave her a sly smile. She tilted her head to the side with a smile, giving my hand a gentle squeeze, giving me all the reassurance I needed at that moment.

Just as we began to eat our food, loud footsteps were heard stomping our way. I perked my head up, and just as I saw who was coming through the door, Todd popped into my head. "Alpha, I am apologizing to you for mate, because of whatever she might do now, and forever more. She is kind of crazy and I am a tad bit scared of her." My face was full of confusion as I watched Olive storming over to my mate rambling on.

"Oh, so what am I now?! Chopped Liver?! I am your best friend, Melony Tucker! I mated and marked and you were the first person I ran to. I had to replace out from my blabber mouth mate about you!" then she biffed Mel on the back of the head! I shook my head a moment to make sure I actually saw her place her hand on my mate and Luna. Then Todd comes skidding into the room at a halt as he realizes what has just happened. If looks could kill, Olive would be 10 feet in the ground already. I was pissed! I let out a ferocious growl, "Olive!! Did you just place your hands on my mate, and your Luna?! Do you understand the consequences of disrespecting her like that?! Disrespecting me?!" I was now standing and moving over to where her and Todd stood. Both of the down and necks bared to me in submission.

I didn't even notice that Melony had gotten up from her seat until she was standing in front of me and grasping my face. "Baby, Theo, look at me... It's okay. She didn't hurt me. She is like my sister. I should have told her about us because she is my family. She really didn't mean any harm.. Please calm down." She leaned up on her toes and placed a light kiss on my marking spot, sending shivers and sparks through my body, and I slowly started to calm down. Melony turned away from me when she realized I was no longer a threat to her friend, and stomped over to Olive. Flicking Olive hard on the nose, "Now, that is pay back. Don't hit me upside the head again. I am sorry I didn't tell you, BUT in my defense, Olive. It is only 9 in the morning! Calm down, and eat your breakfast Olive was rubbing her nose in a small circle, "Fine, I will let it go this time, but next time when something big happens you better at least send me a text!" Melony took her finger and drew across her chest.

"Cross my heart." She smiled. Olive shared a similar smile and walked to the table to take her seat with Todd beside her. I could hear Todd release his breath he had been holding. Before we can all get back to eating, we hear a chair skidding across the floor from the other end of the table. We all looked up at the blonde, staring daggers our way, and marching out of the room mumbling something about a "mark", and "we will see

Melony glanced at me and I just shrugged my shoulders. Olive gave Mel a questioning look. Melony only responded by pointing her fork in the direction the blonde left, saying "That's the blonde bimbo" and went back to eating. Olive nodded in understanding, and Mark was stifling a giggle like a little kid. I feel like I am surrounded by a bunch of children sometimes.

After breakfast, I took Melony on a walk around our pack grounds. I showed her where the kids play, the little shops we have, and our training grounds. Her face seemed to light up at the mention of training. Melony asked if she could join in on the training. I felt proud that she wanted to make herself stronger. We both agreed she would only train every other day as of right now. We haven't had our ceremony yet to make her Luna and until then we are keeping her identity a secret. If she trains every other day, then they will train in their wolf form the days she's not there. As we walked away from the training ground, Melony asked me a question that caught me off guard.

"Theo? Do you feel different since last night? Like something changed

I thought about her question for a second. "I am not sure I know what you mean. I know my answer, but I guess I want to make sure we are talking about the same things

"I feel different, I feel stronger. Mentally and physically, I feel stronger. My body looks stronger, I look more toned. My aura has more of a dominating power to it, I can feel it myself

I nodded my head in understanding. I noticed all of that about her this morning. Her body in fact looked more toned. Still my very curvy mate, but just more muscle on her. Her aura I noticed after tossing Mark out of her room. Even when she wasn't angry, she had a commanding aura around her. Then, when she and Olive were fighting at breakfast, her tone had almost everyone in the dining hall submitting to her. Her aura was just as strong as mine. "I've noticed, I noticed your body this morning in your room, which, by the way, will not be your room anymore. We will have all of your things moved over to mine...our room. I also noticed your aura this morning at breakfast. I think I have changed a little also. I trained with Todd this morning for a little while, and he mentioned that he thought I had gotten faster and stronger. The odd part is, I haven't even trained since you arrived, so it's not because I have put extra work into it." I could see all of her wheels turning and she was going to start to over think things. "You want to go on a run? Jackson is dying to meet Harper finally and you haven't been able to shift since you arrived

Melony had excitement all over her face with her eyes flickering with purple. I knew her wolf was trying to come forward so she could be released. Melony quickly got a grip on Harper and jumped up and down in excitement. "EEEEK! Yes!" She suddenly stopped and a pained expression rested upon her face with her head dropping to the ground. "I can't be seen by anyone though, Theodore, we will have to wait."

I closed the distance between us. I placed my hand on the side of her face and neck, using my thumb to tilt her chin toward me. "No waiting. I have a spot we can go to. No one knows about it, and it is still safely in our pack territory. I'll tell Mark to patrol the area at a distance away, also." She gave me her beautiful smile and I leaned down to kiss her. We started off with just a sensual kiss, but Melony wrapped her arms around me, deepening it. When I heard the whistles of pack members, I pulled away, grabbing her arm and pulling her toward our forest. "Let's go!" and we took off so Jackson and Harper could finally meet.
