Melony

As I made my way into our bedroom, I remembered I had told Olive I would inform her if anything important were to happen in my life. Grabbing my phone, I sent her a quick text. **Hey, was in a fight with rogues. I'm fine, everyone is fine, except for the rogues. Your Alpha I am still deciding on letting him live or not though.**

I sat my phone down on the stand and made my way to the bathroom. I decided on taking a bath instead of a shower. I could really use the relaxation. After the tub was done filling up, I lit a couple of the candles and turned the lights off to really get settled. I was thinking about my argument with Theodore. I really didn't feel great about arguing with him, but I also just wanted him safe. The same reason he was arguing with me was the same reason for my argument with him. I was upset that he thought so little of me and that I wouldn't be able to defend myself. No, I haven't had the normal training that werewolves usually go through, but I have still trained. My dad is a Beta, and one of the best fighters in our pack next to our Alpha. He most definitely didn't let me slack off. Harper hated the fact I was fighting with our mate, she had been going crazy in my head since I took off. I decided I would reach out to Theo, anyway. I would really like to move past this. Then I got an evil idea in my head. Maybe I could tease him a little bit, push him, and make it worth my while. I'll definitely make it worth his time.

"Baby...I'm so happy to hear your voice." I could practically hear his sigh of relief through the mindlink.

We need to talk, Theodore. I did my best to still sound mad and upset.

"I know, I'm sorry Melony, I think I was just carried away at the moment. Seeing you so close to danger had me and Jackson going crazy." I could hear the sincerity in his voice. It almost made me feel guilty for what I was about to do. Okay...We still need to talk. I tried to hide my emotion again. I so badly wanted to tell him it was okay and I felt the same.

It was as if I could see the big gulp in his throat. "O-okay...I will come to you..are you still in the room?"

Yes. I sat and waited in the bath for about another 5 minutes before I heard our door open. "I'm in here!" I yelled out to him. Theodore pushed the door open to the bathroom when his face landed on mine. "Have a seat Theo." I pointed in the direction of the chair that sat across from me in the corner. "I am going to talk and you are going to listen. Alright?" He nodded in understanding. His eyes never left mine, even though I knew he desperately wanted to take in my appearance, being naked in front of him in the tub. "I understand that to everyone in the pack you are their Alpha. What you say goes. I respect that, but here, between you and I," I used my finger, moving it back and forth between both of us. "you are not the Alpha. I am your equal. I won't accept anything less than that. You really hurt me out there today. You doubted my fighting abilities. Which is a bit uncalled for considering I was trained by my father, the second in command of their pack. You wanted me to leave you, my mate, behind to practically die so you could make sure I was safe. I did what I needed to do to make sure you were safe also. I knew that Mark would replace us and we would have more back. I just wasn't going to walk away and let you sign your death wish. What would I have done without you? You think I would have been safe after that? Absolutely not. You talked to me as if I was your child and not your mate. Now tell me, Alpha, what would you do if one of your members were to talk to you like you were beneath them?"

Without hesitation, he answered my question. "They would be punished."

I nodded, "Hmm...I see. Well, I've thought about your punishment for a little while now." I scooted myself up higher in the bath so I was sitting straight up. With the bubbles in the water, the only thing visible to Theo now was my face, shoulders, and my breast. I took one of my hands and took it up to the side of my face and slowly rubbed it down in the direction of my chest. I watched as his eyes moved with my hand. "I couldn't really think of a good punishment that wouldn't embarrass you in front of your pack or be little you..." My hand was now on my chest, I circled my finger around my perky little peak, then used my palm and started to massage one of the mounds. I let out a little moan, and watched as Theodore started to battle with his wolf, his eyes flickering with black. "Then I had an idea, what would really drive my mate crazy?" I let out another moan. Then I lifted one of my legs out of the water and rested it on the side of the tub. Without even realizing it, I look up and Theodore is naked, stepping into the tub with me. I gasped, "Theo...".

As I made my way into the closet to grab clothes, I couldn't help but circle back to our problem. "Theo...?"

"Everything I said back there though I was serious about. To everyone here in this pack, you are Alpha, but us, I am either your equal or it will never work." I glanced his way, trying to read his face. I pulled on my dark gray joggers and a loose white crop top. Just as I pulled the shirt over my head, Theodore grabbed my face with both of his hands.

"I listened to you, I heard you, and.... I saw you" He wiggled his eyebrows at me. I felt a blush sweep across my cheeks. "I understand what you are saying, I was in the wrong back there with how I reacted. I just can't lose you Mel. I love you too much to let that happen." He embraced me and hugged me tight. I wrapped my arms around him, returning the hug, happy that we got past that issue. "I love you too", I reassured him and kissed his cheek when I heard my phone ping.

I ran to it and saw I had a response from Olive.

**Well, let's make him suffer. Game night?? Meet downstairs in 30 minutes.**

I couldn't help the smile before turning back to Theo," We're going to have a game night tonight with Todd and Olive, who we are meeting up with in 30 minutes. Make sure you wear something comfortable." I gave him a wink.
