I mentally face palmed myself about opening my big mouth and telling Mel about the notes. At first, I my mind. Now I am walking down to my office like I am the one in trouble and being asked there. Whi I can feel Melony's emotions through our bond and they are all over the place.

I literally had to let out a long breath and try to calm myself before I killed this i***t. "Mark... I know my mate is hot. She is beyond anything you or I could put together, but I am going to tell you once, and once only......I am seriously going to kill you if you keep talking like this about Melony.." I looked at him and I knew my eyes had darken with my wolf wanting to come out. "Please stop before you dig this hole any further, I would hate to have to replace a new Gamma and plan a funeral on the same day." I felt sparks on my shoulder and instantly Jackson and I started to calm down.

"Alright Mark, I'm taking the shovel before you bury yourself deeper." Melony leaned down and whispered to me "I am still mad at you and you need to finish explaining, but please, baby, calm down." she kissed the side of my head and then took her spot in front of us all again.

After a moment, I was able to continue talking. "The night at the club is when I received the second message. Before I had realized you were gone, I was asked to the front door by an unknown source and when I got there they were gone. The only thing left was a second note basically saying the same things, 'They were coming for you, you are his and not mine, blah blah blah. After that night I didn't get to tell you because when I found you, you were upset and I didn't want to add stress, after you had calmed down, well... we were..." I coughed to clear my throat, "You and I were a litter preoccupied." I gave her my knowing smirk and watched as her cheeks flushed. Melony ended up nodding to me and turned to the others.

"So were you all told not to tell me and keep this information hidden?"

Todd spoke first. "No, Luna, we were asked not to tell you yet about the first note until we found out who the person was leaving the note. After that instruction, there was no more, we just have had a lot happening lately, especially with me trying to get our warriors the extra training." He wasn't lying though. I asked them to let me tell Melony about the first note, but after that I never asked anyone to hide anything.

"By the time I found out about anything, I was too busy contacting the elders and trying to figure out the prophecy. I found out about the white wolf the same time I found out about the first note." My father answered.

She turned to Mark now." And you! Did you know anything?!" She seemed more angry with Mark and I, than anyone else. I get it though, I was her mate, and Mark was one of her best friends, someone she considers family. "I swear, Melony. I had no idea." Mark looked defeated.

"Baby, Mark had no idea about anything. I knew you both were getting rather close, and I kept him out of it all. Plus, while we were having our meetings, I needed him to look over you so I knew there wouldn't be any danger." Melony started to pace back and forth, "So, what now? What do we do now?"

"Well, we will wait. That is what we do. We wait until they decide they are going to attack and then we fight." My father answered her. I shook my head, agreeing with him.

"That's exactly what we do, we wait until they carry out their plan." I sat back in my chair now, relaxing some. Melony had seemed to move on from being upset at us all. Melony was packing back and forth with her face deep in concentration. "What is going on in that beautiful mind of yours, Mel?"

She paused and looked at us all with a very serious face. She stood straight with confidence. "What if we don't wait?" All of us men shared a look of confusion before she continued. "Hear me out, What if we don't wait? Everything so far in this has been on their terms. What if we take it into our own hands? We would have the upper hand." I leaned forward on my knees listening to what she was saying.

My father spoke up, "Well, what do you have in mind, Luna?"

"Well," She looked at me while she hesitated to continue, I had a feeling I wouldn't like whatever she was about to say. "I think we should leave them a note. We know the location they have requested my presence before. I bet they have someone that checks in there periodically in case I were to change my mind and go. I say we should leave a note stating to meet me at a certain time at the location, but I will refuse to leave unless RK is present. I have had a run in with him before at the club. I remember his voice and scent. I would know if they tried to trick us."

"And then what, Luna? Would we hand you over on a platter? That cottage isn't on our territory. We wouldn't have our boarders to protect you." Mark was now leaning forward, and seemed to be equally bothered by this plan also.

"Sort of..." and before she could even finish, I was up and out of my chair.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!! No. Find another plan, or we will wait! I will not hand my mate over to that lunatic, not even over my own dead body!" I was mad now, actually upset. How could she ever think I would ever let her walk into this blindly, and alone. It would always be too risky.

Melony walked over to me, wrapping one arm around my waist and placed her other hand on my cheek, soothing me to calm down. "Listen, Please Theodore, just hear me out. We can have someone take the note to the cottage during the day with a time for me to meet with them. My parents have a friend that is a witch, remember? I am sure she could help us with our scents. We can have our warriors and your scent all masked. You will all be hidden around the cottage for my protection when I go meet with them. They wouldn't expect it, they possibly wouldn't have as many people with them for attack, which means fewer casualities. They wouldn't have the upper hand, they would play into our trap and we could get this all done and over sooner."

"I don't think the plan is actually half bad Theo, good job Luna." Todd gave his approval.

My father stood and walked over to Melony, hugging her, "I think you are going to be the best Luna this pack has ever seen. I agree with the plan, you seem to be falling into the leading roll very quickly and excellently." He kissed the top of her head and pulled away. Mark let out a sigh as he stood. "I agree also, but I get to be next to you the entire time. There will be no chance I will lose you. Plus you still owe me a sleep over." He winked.

I gave him a pointed look, and he let out a laugh. Melony looked up at me with her big puppy dog eyes, those bright green-blue eyes caught my breath every time. "Fine. But only under two conditions." She smiled widely, nodded up at me, and squeezed me tighter. "1. Absolutely nothing will happen unless it goes through me first. What I say goes."

"Okay, I can agree with that." she beamed.

I let out a breath knowing this will be where she gets upset and decides to change her mind. "2. When the fight starts... you leave. You and Mark will head back to our territory and get to safety. You don't look back and you don't stay and try to help." Her jaw dropped instantly in shock of what I had just said to her. I watched the shock on her face, then turned to contemplation. I'm sure she won't agree to this term, especially after the fight we had when those rouges attacked. Which is great because then we could put her silly plan to rest and wait for the attack on our ground where I know she would be safe. To my complete surprise though, Melony took a step back from me and put her hand out in front of her. \r\
