Hiding With Her Twin Babies
Chapter 65

The weeks go by fast, and Dante and Jennie are closer than ever before. Their honeymoon in Paris is what the couple needed. They have a strong love that everyone around them can not help but admire. Jennie is fourteen weeks pregnant, and they go for an ultrasound. The doctor looks at the scan and smiles. He knows the two people sitting in front of him are anxious.

“Well, it looks like you two are having twins again,” The doctor says.

“Oh wow, again!” Jennie says. It was the first time they came to this doctor, and he looked at Jennie with a question in his eyes.

“You already have a twin?” He asks.

“Yes, and they are a handful, but I love them with all my heart. We also have an adopted son about the same age as them,” Jennie says.

“Then you should not have problems giving birth since you already went through it once,” The doctor says, giving Jennie the scan.

“Is my wife’s health and the babies?” Dante asks.

“Yes, the three of them are all healthy, but we can not see their gender yet. We will have to wait a few more weeks,” The doctor says. The doctor does not look worried at all and that makes Dante relaxed.

Dante and the boys hope it is two boys as they don’t have to worry as much about boys as girls. Jennie and Jayda hope that there is at least one girl, so the men in their little family do not so outnumber them. They can not wait until the babies grow faster to reveal their gender.

“Mommy, when we replace out the gender, can we have a gender reveal party? It looks like fun. I have seen many TikTok videos about gender reveal parties, and I want to have one so badly,” Jayda says.

“We can do that, honey! Do you have an idea for such a party?” Jennie asks Jayda.

“Yes! I will ask me, and Jayden and Jack will plan it all!” Jayda says. Jayden looks up from his cellphone and glares at Jayda. He knows it does not even help to say he will not help, as Jayda will continue until he and Jack say yes.

“Then I will leave it in your hands. Then, when we get the results, the three of you will be the only ones who will know the babies’ genders,” Jennie says. Jayden looks up again, and he loves that they will know first before anyone else.

“We will make it a spectacular party,” Jayden says. At first, he was not very happy, but now he thinks it is a great idea. He will know before his dad and mom what the genders of the babies are, and he will pester his dad a lot. Jayden laughs when he thinks of how he can play with his dad’s mind. Jayden loves messing with his dad, and Dante loves that he and Jayden and Jack are so close. They can mess with him, and he will mess with them. It is a game they like to play, and he can not wait until the trio and their Big Five Alliance on their online war game replace out that Jennie and Dante are the leaders of their enemy alliance. Their name is The Godfathers. Jayden gives them a lot of grief on the game and always teases them that they know nothing about the Mafia and only watch the Godfather movies. Jennie taught Dante to play, and they are kicking a*s these days and making the Big Five Alliance angry. Dante always laughs when he hears the kids going on about the Godfather Alliance and how arrogant they are. But they are damn good at the game! Jennie is good at playing games, and she loves playing with Dante. Dante will do anything to keep his wife happy, even play online games when they have the time to play.

Today the two of them are very busy. Jayda, Jayden and Jack are also busy planning how they will do the gender reveal, and Jayden comes up with the idea that Jennie and Dante each get a paintball gun with the gender of each baby. They will give them targets to shoot at, and the paintball colour will reveal the gender of the baby—pink for a girl and blue for a boy. Jayda and Jack love the idea. They will know in a couple of weeks, and they order a cake online and blue and pink cupcakes. They also order the chefs to be ready for the gender reveal parties, and they even order invitation cards online they can send out to everyone they want there.

The twins and Jack are so busy during the time as they want everything perfect as soon as they get the results of the genders, they will be ready to go! Jayden is sure at least one of the babies will be a boy, and Jayda is praying that at least one of the babies is a girl. So the day Jennie and Dante go to the doctor’s office for another ultrasound, the trio goes with them. Jennie tells her doctor to give the results of the babies’ genders to Jayden, Jayda and Jack as they are not allowed to know until the day of the baby reveal party.

Jayda takes the results as she does not trust her brothers to open it. They will have to wait until they come home before seeing the result. So they go up to their study room, and Jayden and Jack stand and wait for Jayda to open the envelope. The doctor has written it down for the trio.

“Okay, I will open it, but no matter the gender, these two babies are our siblings, and we must promise that we will take care of them and be there for them no matter what!” Jayda says.

“Yes, we know. Now open the damn envelope,” Jayden says.

“Jayden, we must first promise not to tell mom and dad and not react badly if the babies are not the gender we want them to be,” Jayda insists.

“Yeah, we promise, now tell us,” Jayden says. Jayda opens the envelope and freezes. She looks at Jayden and Jack and back at the results.

“I am not sure if I should tell you. Maybe I must just do the whole baby reveal thing myself,” Jayda says

“Jayda! You got us into this. You have to tell us now,” Jayden says.

“It is two girls,” Jayda says.

“Impossible, let me see!” Jayden says.

“It is two girls! Damn,” Jayden says as he reads the results. Jack goes and sits down in the chair near him.

“We will have to protect them until they are twenty-one and will not be able to go out of the house until they are happily married. Jayda, it is easy. We will let Jason marry her, problem solved, but where will we get to boys we can train to be good enough for our twin sisters?” Jack asks.

“Who says I want to marry Jason?” Jayda says.

“You have no choice. We have already decided this,” Jayden says.

“You can not decide what I do with my life. I am first going to university and then travelling to Europe and Africa. I will not get married until I am twenty-five,” Jayda says.

“You will do as I told you. I am your oldest brother!” Jayden says.

“You are a few minutes older than me, so it does not count,” Jayda says.

“It counts, so does as I say!” Jayden shouts. He is still a little angry at his parents for having two girls! What were they thinking?

“Maybe the doctor made a mistake,” Jack says.

“No, he did not, but we can show the scan to grandma and ask her,” Jayden says.

“We can not ask grandma! It is supposed to surprise everyone, including grandma,” Jayda reminds the boys.

“Yeah, it is true we almost forgot,” Jayden says.

“Two girls! I am so happy!” Jayda says.

“I am not!” Jack says.

“Me neither. As the eldest, I will need to take care of the girls! That would be a huge responsibility!” Jayden sighs.

“We will help you,” Jayda says.

“You need to marry Jason as I told you,” Jayden says.

“I will not! I will do as I please,” Jayda says. Although she has a crush on Jason, she will not let her brother tell her what to do. Jayda is a lot like her mother. She is a hard head, but she has a soft heart, and Jayden knows this.

“So what if Jason falls in love with you? Will you break his heart to spite me?” Jayden asks.

“He will not fall in love with me! I am too young for him,” Jayda says.

“Nonsense, grandpa is much older than grandma, and they love each other a lot,” Jayden says.

“But who says I want an old man as a husband?” Jayda hit back.

“I will tell Jason you think of him as a old man,” Jack says.

“You can not do that!” Jayda says.

“I will if you do not agree to marry him one day,” Jack says.

“Okay! If he wants to marry me, I promise I will marry him in the future,” Jayda says and glares at Jack.

“Ha! Nice one, Jack!” Jayden says.

“Well, we might as well just have pink everywhere since it is two girls,” Jack says.

“That will spoil the fun of the others not knowing,” Jayda says.

“Yeah, but I am so disappointed! This is not fair! The girls will be more than the boys in this family, and we will lose every vote in the family,” Jayden says.

“We need mom to get pregnant again, after the twins,” Jack says.

“No! Then we might as well open a school at home! Five children is already a lot! If mom has another twin, we will be seven!” Jayden does not like that plan at all.

“Besides, what if mom has another twin girl,” Jayda laughs.

“Yeah, with our luck, that will be the case,” Jack says, looking at Jayden, who still looks unhappy.

“Well, at least we will not have to change nappies, as it is, girls,” Jayden says. He looks at Jayda.

“You will have to do it if we need to babysit,” Jack laughs, pointing at Jayda.

“Okay, I don’t mind changing the nappies. I am happy I will have two sisters. I hope they look the same. It will be so cute if they do, and I can dress them the same so no one can tell the difference,” Jayda says.

“Yeah, it will be fun if they look the same,” Jayden says. Jayden is still not happy about having two sisters. He knows his mommy will be happy, and his dad will be disappointed like him and Jack. Jayda starts laughing. She was messing with her brothers all the time and asked the doctor to play along. She pulls out another envelope from her pocket, and the two boys glare at her.

“What is that?” Jayden asks.

“The real results. I was messing with the two of you! I will open it, now, and we will see the real results,” Jayda says. She opens the envelope and looks at the results with a big smile on her face.

“It is a boy and a girl,” Jayda says.

“I am going to kill you, Jayda! You had me worried. At least our little brother will help us look after our sister.” Jayden says with relief in his voice.

“Ha! You will not do that as you love me too much,” Jayda says. Jayden and Jack laugh as they are relieved and happy now. The men in the house will still be one more than the girls.

“I will forgive you, but only because I am happy,” Jayden says.

“You will have to change our little brother’s nappy, when we babysit,” Jayda says.

“Eww, we will ask grandma to babysit,” Jayden decides on behalf of everyone.

“Well, we better get everything ready for the party. We should have it on Saturday when no one is busy,” Jack says, and the twins agree with Jack.

They start planning and call everyone to have everything ready for Saturday. They send out the invitation cards, and those too far get one by e-mail. It is only Tuesday, so the people that have to fly to the states will have enough time to book tickets. Finally, the trio is ready for their gender reveal party on Saturday. They planned everything to perfection and were sure nothing could go wrong.
