I Am Unstoppable
Chapter 413

Chapter 413

The battle raged on, and the fighting was frightfully intense.

Everyone was a skilled fighter, so it was hard to tell who had the upper hand.

However, Aurora's situation was undoubtedly the most dangerous. With neither Jonathan's help nor apowerful weapon, going up against the formidable Larry felt like skating on thin ice.

Jonathan, on the other hand, was busy fighting Silas. As a famous warrior who had single-handedlykilled numerous beasts in the Lost Ruins with his trusty Golden Bayonet, Silas hardly cared thatJonathan was a level-three Divine Master.

Thankfully, the latter soon proved that he wasn't one to be underestimated. He spun around like asnake to face Silas before leaping forward to snatch the Golden Bayonet with his bare hands.

“I'll kill you!” Silas thundered as he swiftly moved his blade and slashed at Jonathan's fingers.

“I don't think you can,” Jonathan retorted, his lips curled into a half smile. His hand disappeared into theDragon Binding Gloves, causing Silas' attack to hit nothing but air.

Taking advantage of that split-second pause, Jonathan advanced toward Silas. He had his DragonClaw Grab aimed at the latter's throat, but at the same time, he also unleashed Arrow Kick—a movewhere he'd land a lightning-fast kick on the opponent's midriff.

Stunned by the relentless onslaught, Silas realized the danger he was in and promptly stepped back.

Seeing that, Jonathan wore his Dragon Binding Gloves and sent a powerful Great Sage Seal barreling

toward Silas.

The latter instantly felt a dark cloud above his head, and the pressure was stifling.

He stabbed his Golden Bayonet upward in retaliation, determined to carve a hole out of what felt likeimpending doom.

Alas, Jonathan suddenly retracted his Great Sage Seal, and the dark clouds vanished without a trace.

On top of that, Jonathan had also stopped attacking.

“Wait. That doesn't seem right!” Silas muttered.

Sure enough, he felt Jonathan's hands pressing down on his shoulders before he could say anythingelse. My goodness... Jonathan's style of attack is way too unpredictable! It's only been a few seconds, yet he has already backed me into a corner.

Just as Silas began shaking his shoulders vigorously to escape the grip, Jonathan deftly wrapped hislegs around the man's waist.

“Python Body Coil!”

Even though it was an ordinary Spirit Fist move, there was no denying that Jonathan had executed itbrilliantly.

Annoyed that he had left the lower half of his body vulnerable to attacks, Silas hastily backed away.Alas, it was too little, too late. Jonathan had clung to him like a burr.

Silas tried stabbing his Golden Bayonet into Jonathan's waist, but once again, the latter was one stepahead. He wrapped his hands around Silas' head and twisted it off with a loud, sickening crunch, causing blood to spray everywhere.

Just like that, Jonathan killed Silas within ten seconds and drew the first blood in the battle.

It was an utterly shocking sight, especially since no one had expected the fearsome Silas Dexton to bedefeated so soon!

Meanwhile, Larry was about to kill Aurora when Jonathan went to her rescue. With one hand stillgrabbing Silas' headless body, he flung it toward Larry like a loaded weapon.

Sensing danger behind him, Larry spun around, only to grow wide-eyed with terror when he realizedwhat he was staring at.

He quickly dodged the corpse, but Jonathan followed up with a formidable Rolling Thunder Punch.

In an instant, thunder filled the air, and there was no doubt the latter had executed the move to itsfullest.

Larry gritted his teeth. Damn it! I never thought Jonathan would be so difficult to deal with... He's gettingon my nerves! He slashed his sword at Jonathan's face and roared, “Die!”

Not only was his sword attack fast as lightning, but his thunderous roar had also nearly rupturedJonathan's eardrums.

Curiously enough, only Jonathan's ears seemed affected, while the others appeared unfazed. Despitethe throbbing pain, he unleashed Antelope Rhythm to dodge the attack and simultaneously reached outto grab Larry's blade.

Of course, Larry was shocked. I've never encountered any opponent quite like Jonathan. This guydoesn't seem to fear anything! He's closing in to meet my sword head-on instead of keeping a distancefrom it!

In the past, Jonathan would have been deathly afraid of swords.

However, he now had nothing to fear as long as he had his Dragon Binding Gloves.

Even though he'd still be helpless against magic and spells, he knew he'd stand a good chance ofwinning when it came to physical fights, provided that his opponent wasn't anywhere near Wretched'slevel.

Larry deftly moved his sword and slashed at Jonathan's fingers.

To his surprise, the latter merely tapped on the blade, sending an electric current flowing toward him.

Unperturbed, Larry shuddered and dispelled the electricity before turning his blade to launch anotherattack.

After all, he was a level-seven Immortal Stage elite, so there was still a vast difference between his and

Jonathan's powers.

On top of that, the golden sword Larry wielded was a mystic weapon with incredible sharpness andprecision.

It responded well to all his commands and was quick as lightning.

Unable to dodge the attack, Jonathan had no choice but to retreat, which allowed Larry to retaliate withfull force.

However, it was also then that Aurora's sword came flying.

She was immensely grateful that Jonathan had saved her twice, and it felt good knowing both of themhad each other's backs. Then again, she was shocked that Jonathan could hold his ground againstLarry, especially since he was merely a level-three Divine Master.

Wait a minute... I finally understand why our revered ancestor chose Jonathan and Prince Solorel'sinsistence that Jonathan's the future of the vampires! Once he increases his cultivation level, whoknows if anyone will be his match?

Faced with Aurora's counterattack, Larry reluctantly gave up on his golden opportunity to kill Jonathan.

Argh! I can't win if Aurora and Jonathan join forces against me. This is so infuriating!

By then, the battle had reached its peak.

Mabel was locked in a fierce fight with Shadow, and although the latter was powerful, Mabel wasn't to

be underestimated, either. Thanks to her Shanow Sword, even a level-nine Divine Master like Shadowcould feel the brunt of the attack.

As swords clashed amidst the falling snowflakes, the battlefield was gradually drenched in blood.

It was as though everyone had been transported back to the Iron Age and had to rely on medievalweapons.

While it might sound like a good idea to bring a heavy machine gun in to fire at will, no one would go sofar as to carry out that plan.

After all, a spray of bullets from a heavy machine gun would decimate everyone on the battlefield.

Even if snipers were lying in wait to take out the opponents, it'd be easy enough for elite fighters likeJonathan and the rest to dodge the bullets.

Therefore, the best way to battle it out was with traditional weapons.

Just as both sides reached a stalemate, a silhouette suddenly appeared from outside. “Your Highness,I'm at your service!” Grese shouted before throwing himself into the battlefield.

Thanks to his participation, the battle quickly tilted in Solorel's favor.

Grese assisted a marquis in defeating one of Anakin's elite fighters, thus allowing them to extend theirsupport to the other battle troops.

Just when it seemed that Anakin's troops were on the verge of losing, the situation within Solorel's

army suddenly changed.

As it turned out, Anakin's fist strength was now virtually unbeatable. He had absorbed a mythicalbeast's blood in the Lost Ruins, which gave him a massive boost in power. The only problem beforewas that he didn't have a way of accumulating divine mana.

Now that he was fully charged, he wasted no time striking Solorel with a thousand consecutive fists.

Sadly, the prince was already getting on in years, so it didn't take long before Anakin completelyshattered his mana.

The next second, Anakin used Sovereign Mirror to appear behind Solorel and brutally punched a holethrough his back.

Solorel instantly coughed out a mouthful of blood, his hair dirty and messy.

“Run, Your Majesty!” Solorel shouted. “Aurora, escort His Majesty to safety!”

He gathered and pushed his remaining mana to the maximum till he conjured the Primordial Sword ofthe Three Realms.

Using his body to keep Anakin's fist sucked in, Solorel swiftly pierced the man between the brows withthe sword.

Left with no choice, Anakin grabbed the Primordial Sword of the Three Realms with his other hand toprevent it from penetrating deeper.

The two men became locked in a stalemate, but everyone could see that Solorel couldn't hold on muchlonger.

Once Anakin broke free, disaster would undoubtedly befall Jonathan's army.

Aurora, Walrion, and the other vampire marquises were devastated, but they also knew it wasn't thetime to mourn.

Without further ado, a group of marquises bravely charged forward and fought a way out for Aurora andWalrion.

“Let's go, Your Majesty!” Yeverie urged as she pulled Jonathan along.

Jonathan, too, was filled with grief, but he knew time was of the essence. If he didn't leave now, hemight never replace another opportunity to.

“Let's go!” he ordered before turning to leave.

Aurora, Walrion, Mabel, Beatrix, and Yeverie quickly followed behind.

Meanwhile, the other vampire marquises continued to surround Larry and his troops, determined to buyas much time as possible so Jonathan and the rest could escape.

After retreating into the castle, Jonathan saw Anakin crush the Primordial Sword of the Three Realmsand smash Solorel's head into smithereens.

To make matters worse, Grese also had his head cleanly sliced off by Larry's sword.

The defense line had collapsed entirely, and Jonathan's army suffered a massive defeat.

With no time to bolt the door or even make preparations, Jonathan led his remaining team down to thebasement.

Seconds later, he opened the door and ushered everyone into Fog City while a flurry of footsteps and amurderous aura gradually closed in behind them.

Needless to say, Anakin and his team weren't about to let Jonathan off the hook.

After all, as long as the latter was alive, Anakin would never have the chance to ascend the throne.

It'd be like past kings spending decades searching for a long-lost blood relative to be their rightful heir. The bloodline mattered, and so did the title.

Meanwhile, Jonathan and his team had entered Fog City, and the door promptly closed behind them.

As its name implied, Fog City had surging fog clouds swirling everywhere.

By then, everyone was on tenterhooks because they knew there was no way the door would hold offAnakin's onslaught.

Moreover, Fog City was as good as a dead end.

No one even knew why they had run into the city in the first place.

Did they think they could use what was left of their revered ancestor's power to scare Anakin away?

That'd be impossible!

Mabel was the first to break the uncomfortable silence. “Jonathan, why are we here?”
