I'm Not Yours, Alpha
I’m Not Yours, Alpha – Chapter 10

When Aida regained consciousness he was more dazed than awake. He felt his body as if he were in a huge cotton ball that moved back and forth feebly cradling him. Very comfortable and cozy. He could stay like that forever.

And that smell. Delicious and alluring that flooded his whole being and kept him in a total trance. He moved closer to the source of that tasty aroma and embraced it with the little strength he had left, sticking his nose to it and breathing in.

-If you wake me up like this every day, I think I’ll become completely addicted to you.

Aida’s eyes snapped open at the sound of that voice. He pulled away with difficulty only to be drawn in again and the back of his neck stopped with his hand keeping it pressed against the male chest.

-Madox warned me that you shouldn’t shake too much, it’s bad for your body,” he said.

Madox, who the hell was Madox, he must be another alpha. There was still some of the essence of supposedly this one left. On the other hand, what was he doing hugging Dominic. He didn’t remember the last events, only the bath and then….

With what he could he looked where he was out of the corner of his eye and admired the huge room decorated modernly but elegantly with black and white combinations. The silk sheet covering them was soft but still felt like it weighed a ton to him.

-President Dominic.

-Dominic, we’re not on the job.

-President Dominic,” he emphasized again, breaking that fine line that separated them as employee and employer would be very dangerous, maybe more than he imagined, “Could you let me go, I need to go to the restroom.

The alpha opened his eyes removing the arm that crossed his forehead and sighed. She let go and let him pull away from her body losing the comfort of the warmth that already seemed so natural to her.

Aida had lied. She didn’t feel like going to the bathroom, she just wanted to break away to cool her brain cells and get them in order. He crawled to the other side of the bed as he confirmed that his legs wouldn’t keep him up for at least a few minutes and shook his head, disheveling his hair completely.

-Where am I? What happened?” he asked based on his doubts.

-You’re in my house, more specifically in my guest room- Dominic sat up sitting on the bed leaving visible his well shaped chest due to the open white linen shirt showing on purpose, even the button of his pants was open- And what happened is that you fainted in the bathroom, already a doctor friend of mine came and examined you-.

He bit his fingernail, as he always did when he was nervous. Now everything seemed to fit a little, the morning medications, the reason she took them, the discomfort that had tormented her and everything when she turned black as she was carried by him.

-I’m sorry,” she apologized, squeezing the partition, “I’m sorry for the inconvenience, I’ll go home as soon as possible.

He moved to get up from the bed when Dominic grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him back to the same place only with him in front of him.

-Where do you think you’re going, precious? You and I have a lot to talk about, especially the chemicals in your body that hide the fact that you’re an omega.

-What?” Aida blinked several times before answering him without understanding, “I must have chemicals in my b***d, I take medication because of an accident I had, not because I want to hide that I’m an omega, that’s ridiculous-” Dominic frowned.

Dominic frowned and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled him in, leaving him sitting on the lap of her hard thighs.

-It seems to me that either you’re playing with me, or you’ve been fooled your whole life,” he stroked her hair.

The beta did not move, the sensation of being in his arms and the smell he gave off prevented him from moving a muscle as if they were claiming that he had to obey him.

-Madox is a renowned doctor and a friend of mine and no one can fool his sense of smell. He confirmed it to me and took a sample of your b***d to get the result, what worries him most is the state of your body because of the drugs. They are repressing what you are naturally,” he explained softly, putting a lock of black hair behind his ear.

-And if so what?” Aidan’s cold voice surprised him, “What does it matter if I’m an omega or a beta now, what do you want me to do? That I leave everything as I know it to jump into your arms as your so-called destined mate just because you want it that way while you have a highborn mistress to show off, leaving me for your s****l satisfaction-.

Aida jerked and broke away from his arms falling awkwardly on the bed to crawl to the edge and sit up awkwardly.

-I didn’t say that,” Dominic followed him with an annoyed look because he didn’t accept her words, “and leave Dulse out of this, she’s my problem,” Aida clenched her fists.

Aida clenched her fists and took a deep breath, that he mentioned the name of another woman, specifically that woman hurt her just as much as when she had seen him. He didn’t know why, it wasn’t that he had romantic feelings for the alpha, there was just something inside him that stirred when he was around.

-I want to go home,” he said tiredly, “Can you tell me where the door is or do I have to jump out the window?

Dominic stood up and approached him, who backed up until he bumped into the edge of the small table that decorated the room. She sensed the fear in his eyes, she couldn’t blame him, right now, he was upset and his image was projecting that.

-You can’t leave, it’s not advisable at this hour or in your condition. Rest a little more,” he insisted seriously.

But Aidan didn’t give in. He looked sideways with his back straight. He looked ready to face him if something happened.

Aida -he called him and walked a few steps until she stood in front of him- don’t make things difficult, I won’t do anything to you, but you need to sleep- -I want to go home- -I want to go home- -his voice was so loud, he said.

-I want to go home- his voice came out solid but his hands were sweating and trembling slightly.

-Stay- Dominic had lost his patience, he had used his Voice.

Aida’s whole body was pierced by a wave of pain that paralyzed him on the spot and he could only nod trembling.

-That’s better, I’ll prepare something to eat, meanwhile lie down- the alpha caressed his cheek before leaving the room.

The beta stood there stiffly. Every part of his body throbbed and the b***d coursing through his veins burned as it coursed. The sensation of the male fingers on her cheek was still in force and a tear of helplessness ran down her evaporating before falling to the floor.
