Love Began with the First Meeting
Chapter 655 The Painful Entanglement (Part Two)

With a salute like a gentleman, he passed one of his perfect hand to invite Molly for the dance. At the moment, even though he was dressed casually, he still made people feel as though he was prince charming. Such charm was natural and did not need any external

factors.

Molly looked at Spark, stunned, and forgot to respond for a moment.

Myra, with a faint smile in the corner of her lips, tapped Molly again, and extended her chin forward a bit, reminding Molly to see Spark's hand.

"Don't stir everybody's great mood," Brian said indifferently. Just as the women's eyes were showing a flash of delight, he put down his overlapped legs, stood up and, offered Molly a gentleman's salute under the crowd's astonishment and asked," Mol, could I ask you to join me for a dance?"

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone looking at Brian was startled. He was talking with other girls all through the night, but he might not even remember their names. Now, how come he called Molly's name with such an intimate voice?

Meanwhile, Manny came forward with hasty steps. Watching the situation at the moment with a bitter expression, he secretly gnashed his teeth and murmured, "Spark, you just can't let people stop worrying about you for one moment, can you!" The faint murmurs were squeezed out of his teeth. He was away for just one brief moment to go to the bathroom, and here were Spark and Brian competing with each other again!

Molly looked at the two hands in front of him, one perfect, unblemished hand, for playing the violin melodiously, and the other in contrast, equally perfect, with distinct and slender bones, except with callus on the index finger, owing to the frequent use of a gun. The atmosphere suddenly grew intense all over again, and the women looked with envy at Molly who had the choice of two perfect men. Both of them were the best and perfect Mr. Right. But why were they both glued to a woman like Molly? Myra and Little Cutie looked at the two hands and then at Molly. No matter who Molly chose, the other one would be embarrassed at the moment facing rejection, which would seem extraordinary for the top bachelors like Brian and Spark. "Molly..." Myra called her gently, and her face that was supposed to be smiling now grew serious.

Molly's glance fell on both hands. She laughed at herself secretly, and said nonchalantly, "Sorry, I can't dance!"

"I can teach you!"

"I will not mind if you step on my foot..."

The two men spit out at the same time just hoping for her to chose one over the other. After finishing their sentence, they looked at each other fiercely.

The air became thinner as the two men confronted one another and a tension ensued between them while the people nearby also gradually felt it increasingly hard to breathe thanks to the palpable tension. Melodious music reverberated through space, the dancing steps of those in the front also were messed up due to their undivided focus on the confrontation.

"I'm not interested in dancing, you guys, there are so many ladies here, please invite someone else," she bit her lips and said softly, and meanwhile she was trying hard to hold the bitterness upsurging in her heart.

"I'm only interested in you!" "I'm only interested in you!"

Both of these eligible bachelors spit out the same words in chorus spontaneously without realizing it making the atmosphere increasingly tense and even the Troupe Head who had been drinking and laughing came over. Watching the stressful atmosphere, the Troupe Head frowned.

He could not afford to offend any of the two men in front of him, but he really didn't know how to deal with such a situation now... The Troupe Head winked at the administrative assistant. He immediately shook his head and thought secretly, "Are you kidding me? I am not going to be the cannon fodder of their fight."

Throwing an angry glance at him, the Troupe Head had no way but to summon up his courage, came towards them, and said in a laughing way, "Well, Mr. Brian Long, Spark..." His words suddenly came to an end as he saw the chilly glance Brian was throwing at him. Being stared in such a cold manner, he could not help but shiver with fear.

Both Brian and Spark had not withdrawn their hands back not until the music was finally over. Then, with another gentle piano music taking over, the intense atmosphere was not eased but became more severe.

Molly gnashed her teeth tightly. Although other women' glare had killed her over a hundred times, she was not in the mood to care. At the moment, she felt like she was a money being played on the stage.

All of a sudden, she got up, looked at both Brian and Spark, and said, "I can't keep up with you two anymore!" she then turned around, grabbed her bag and said to the Troupe Head, "I'm sorry, boss, I have to leave now."

Right then, she was about to leave, but as soon as she stepped away, her arms were pulled back. Molly clenched her hands, trying to calm the anger about to burst out of her heart, bit her teeth, and squeezed words out of her teeth, "Please let me go."

"I'll drive you back," said Spark, with a sense of sadness at the bottom of his eyes, as he watched Molly's eyes, a feeling of guilt gradually crept into his eyes.

"Don't you think that it is better for me to drive her back?" Brian said slowly in a gentle but determined tone, with a sneering smile in the corner of his lips, which was hard to discern.

Spark's heart suddenly experienced a stabbing pain. And he felt like he was not holding Molly's arm but holding a soldering iron, which burned through his palm. So he had no way but to slowly release his grip...

"Spark," Manny came forward, looked at Brian and Molly, and told him in a low voice, "Russell asked you to call him back right now."

Ignoring what Manny just said, Spark looked into Molly's eyes with a pain that he couldn't hide. What did he do just now? He paid court to her in front of Brian. What... What the hell was he doing?

Molly bit her lips, with guilt, as she felt the deep grief nestled in Spark's eyes. Her wounded heart burned, almost as if the alcohol spilled all over the bruises, which made her hurt so much that she almost suffocated. As she watched Spark, she pulled her arm away from Brian's grip restlessly and softly said, "No, I thank you both for the kindness. I'll just go back on my own. You two please carry on with whatever you want to do..."

Molly pulled herself up, step by step, and walked towards the door mechanically almost like her legs were filled with iron anchoring her down to remain still. Despite every one staring right at her, it somehow really didn't matter to her anymore. Whatever they thought or they would say no longer mattered. In fact, nothing seemed to matter anymore. How could she be scared about what the gossip rounds would say about her now? She chuckled in thought.
