Love Began with the First Meeting
Chapter 675 Misty (Part One)

Love should never stem from pity nor is it a product to be exchanged for. Love is about the ups and downs of life and how we expect to go through all of this with our chosen lover. We look forward to it while we hesitate in face of it.

Hannah bit her lips hard and tightened the grip of her hands on the quilt. She looked like she was holding her tears back as she stared at Brian. She spoke in a quivering voice, "Mr. Brian Long, I was drunk. You came on to me, not the other way around..." She turned her face aside and bit her lips, letting her tears finally fall on her cheeks. Gritting her teeth, she continued, "Please go away... as if I, I..." She didn't finish her sentence and just started sobbing.

Brian looked at Hannah apathetically. Neither her tears nor her words could affect him in the least.

Brian gazed at her for a moment and then turned around and left, without saying a word.

Hannah's tears stopped as soon as she saw the door slam shut in front of her. Squinting slightly and gritting her teeth, she mumbled to herself, "Brian Long, I swear to God that I'll have you this time."

Brian went downstairs. Instead of returning to the wine party, he went straight to the underground parking lot and found Victor's car. Taking a look at the locked door of the car, he took a very thin steel wire out of his wallet. It only took him several minutes to open the car door without damaging it.

Brian got on the car. He turned the backrest down and leaned against it. He frowned so hard that his brows started to knit too.

Even if he was drugged, he could still tell the girl he was chasing was Molly. But Hannah was right there when he woke up in the bed.

Buzz!

His cellphone vibrated. He took it out from his pocket.

"Where are you?" Victor's voice came through slowly on the other side of the phone.

"In your car!"

Brian answered, then he heard laughter on the phone. Victor ridiculed him, "Mr. Brian Long, do you really think the world's that dull without Molly?"

Brian's eyes darkened at that. He spoke harshly, "Well, if you want to walk all the way, I don't mind driving your..."

"No!" Victor cried. "By the way, I can see Wing. She's being circled by several men."

"She can handle herself."

"How evil are you..." Beep.

Brian had hung up the phone on Victor so Victor just shrugged and looked back at Wing who was wearing a purple dress and surrounded by several men. So he turned around and started walking back to the parking lot.

As soon as he got on the car, Victor could see the anger in Brian. With a smile, he said, "If you really want to get laid that bad, well, I can't help you there. There are so many women in this party. You can just pick one out of a hat and you can start banging her in a room upstairs."

Victor stopped speaking as a sudden ray of light shone across his face. Brian's eyes were darker than ever, looking like an ancient well that was ready to swallow everything at any time. Victor took a big gulp and asked cautiously, "Well, have you done anything to betray Molly or something? You look half-dead now."

Victor remained his stance and refused to be intimidated by Brian when he saw the evil look on his face. He knew Brian well enough. He knew that it wasn't easy to make friends with him but once you did, there was nothing he wouldn't give you. He would give you absolute privilege. Even if you guys fought, he'd still be by your side. But of course, Brian was still the kind of person who always fought back over the tiniest things. He would never let it go until he finally got even with you. Even when you had forgotten all about it, Brian never would he would still remember it as clear as day.

"Victor, how strong do you think my will is?" Brian asked slowly as he withdrew his sight to look at the gray wall ahead.

Victor thought for a while before answering, "Few people in the world can make you lose your head and one of them is Molly."

Brian glanced at Victor then said coldly, "I was drugged with philter."

Victor frowned. But Brian wasn't seem to be in a joking mood. Victor knew that he meant he had vented his desire. "Then I want to know who else can make you go crazy..." he said with an evil smile on his face, which looked harsh and cold.

"I, too, want to know," Brian said as his falcon eyes glinted.

Victor started the car. When they got out of the parking lot, he asked, "I'm staying here for a couple more days. Need any help?"

"I can handle it,"

Brian answered. Then they changed the topic of conversation. There really were some body contact that couldn't be avoided between a man and a woman, but being framed to sleep with a woman was an entirely different thing.

Victor was supposed to drive Brian back to the villa but halfway through their drive, Brian answered a call and after which, he told Victor to drive him to the Grand Night Casino. When they arrived there, Victor immediately left. He came to A City this time because he had something to do. On the way to the hotel, he sighed. Then he made a call.

"Your highness!" a respectful voice came through the phone.

"Give me a detailed list of philters in the world that can make people lose control..."

"Hmm?" the person on the phone asked, stunned.

Victor smiled and said, "Just choose a good one. You won't regret this."

"Your highness..." the voice sounded serious because this was no joking matter, because he was changing ever since he'd returned to the royal family and he wasn't changing for the better.

"Well," Victor interrupted the person, "no more questions. Just give me what I'm asking for."

For a while, the voice said nothing before finally agreeing and saying yes.

After parking the car, Victor walked towards the elevator, his mind racing, 'Brian should've gotten mad. He should've ordered his men to replace out who drugged him and hand that person over in a silver platter to Black Wolf. But now it seems like he's just guilty of cheating on Molly.' With a faint smile at his lips, Victor entered the elevator and mumbled to himself, "Love really changes a person."

The night wind blew onto Molly and Spark, who were at a stalemate like two kids.

"Mol," Spark sighed slightly, "it's getting late, I'll drive you home."

"Spark!" Molly gritted her teeth, her eyes were still red, and asked, "Why aren't you playing the violin?"

"I'm tired!"

"Do you think I'm stupid?" Molly roared and tears came streaming down her face again. "When did you stop playing? Didn't you just play for me a while back? Why?" Molly was so flustered that she couldn't set her eyes on one thing, "Why can't you play now?" "Maybe, I don't love it anymore..." Spark answered bitterly. He took a deep breath and said, "Let's go, it's getting late."

"You're lying!" Molly looked at Spark. "Look at me and say that again! Look at me!"

Spark frowned but he looked at Molly straight in the eye and said through clenched teeth, "I don't love playing anymore." He had to force out every word.

Molly felt like she was going to faint. She took two steps backwards, shaking her head, refusing to believe what she'd just heard. "Spark, you're betraying yourself!" she cried.

Her eyes were filled with disappointment because she had never spoken to Spark like this before.

Spark's heart ached. Violin was just as important to him as Molly was and he had lost both in one day. No one knew how painful that was except for himself.

He just had to pretend he didn't care because what else could he do?

"Yes, I'm into desserts now and that was my mother's favorite," Spark said with a smile. His face looked rather relaxed. He was still arrogant as he had been, but something was different about him.

"Ha ha!" Molly started laughing as she looked at Spark who was standing in front of her and it felt like she couldn't recognize him anymore. "Spark, I don't know, this is so strange," she said as she turned around to leave. After taking a few steps, she paused and turned her head slightly and spoke through gritted teeth, "I won't ever come back to the shop. And don't you ever come see me again. There's only one Spark I know and that's the one confident on stage not some ridiculous old man running a cake shop."

Then Molly disappeared as she walked farther. Spark didn't try to chase her or do anything. Instead, he just stood idly there staring into thin air. His eyes were glassy. I
