Love Began with the First Meeting
Chapter 811 The Deadly Duel (Part Three)

Before going to Central Square, I figured out that you'd propose a deadly gamble with me. Sooner or later, it's going to be the deadly duel between us. So, I arranged someone to make a small amendment for your revolver so that your bullet would come out in the third

round."

Under the effects of the thick smoke, Eric's face now looked a little dark and heavy.

Brian looked at him and said calmly."I let Mol go in the hope that she would live on quiet life she has always been longing for. But the nosy Victor would train Molly, which was unexpected, a pleasant surprise for me. Also, such possibility was not ruled out in my selfish hopes. And then, indirectly, I sent Vincent to look after her." His eyes twinkled. "In fact, you had already known all the things I have done."

"Yes!" Eric cried, fixing Brian with a heavy gaze. "I know your memory loss is not real, because as XK's top leader, your willpower is definitely greater than anyone else in the world, and when Vincent came back with Mol, I couldn't be more sure about that." He sneered. "Both of us are very funny. On the one hand, we clearly knew each other's mind; on the other hand, we both pretended not to know anything and just walked into each other's traps."

"Yes..." As Brian's eyes became heavy with darkness, he said slowly, "Because we all know that if I didn't come today, you would manage to marry Molly legally, so she would become your legal wife. And then... A false thing becomes true. It will be difficult to guarantee what the ending is. Therefore, I had to show up today."

"And then?" asked Eric.

"And then," Brian made a great effort to hide his heavy facial expression. "Since she is not leaving me now, She will never be able to leave me."

Brian fixed Eric with a firm gaze. "This is my answer. Are you satisfied?"

The corner of Eric's mouth curled up into a bitter smile. "Cousin, be good to her. If something similar happens again, I really won't let you win her back."

Brian didn't answer. With one last look at Eric, he turned and walked away. He stopped after a few steps, turned around a bit to face Eric and said, "Eric, you should now understand that we could never judge the things that happened to the older generation..." He turned his gaze from his cousin, looked ahead, and then continued, "Find a suitable day for both of us and we'll have some drink with our second uncle!"

As he took another step away, he heard Eric laughing. "Cousin!" he was saying.

"Never bother to replace that day, if you can't handle this thing between you and Little Molly properly today. Tonight will be perfect for us to steal his wine and you shall be the first to steal it from him!"

"Deal!" Brian said. "You're the first one to steal if I handle it well. Eric, our second uncle already knew we're going to steal his wine today. I am telling you it will be much harder to steal."

"I think you'd better worry more about yourself," Eric teased, roaring at Brian's back. "I think you've got to steal first today."

Brian did not reply, but slightly curled his lips.

He walked over to his car with Tony, who opened the door for him. Sliding into the seat and sitting there, he watched the area which was still crawling with smoke. The words that were spoken during the fight echoed in his head. 'Eric, next life, we will still be good cousins!' Back inside the arena, Eric took a towel from Lenny and wiped the stains and blood on the corners of his mouth. All of a sudden, a flicker of rage showed in his eyes. He turned and looked at the man in charge of the arena.

"Young Master?" Lenny wondered why Eric suddenly became so angry.

Eric pulled back his attention and said flatly, "Nothing... Just ask the man in charge of the arena to see me now."

"Yes, sir!" Lenny answered obediently.

Tony looked through the rear view mirror in the car and asked,"Mr. Brian, where are we going now?"

"To the Long Family Mansion." Brian ordered flatly. He thought that as he and Eric came to the arena, they should both go back to the mansion now.

Yet, when he got to the mansion, he found out that everyone was there except for Molly and Spark.

"Mark, where is your Mommy now?" Brian asked calmly when he saw his son. He sounded calm but there was a flicker of coldness in his eyes.

Mark grinned up at his father; he had so much to tell him, and he was about to pour out his day to Brian when he noticed that his father didn't look happy. He thought that it would be better to wait until later to tell him all that he wanted to tell him. "Mommy said..." Mark paused for a bit before continuing,"she would invite Daddy to dinner earlier!"

The people in the room were amused by his smart answer, but they managed to suppress their laughter as Brian's face grew even darker. 'As Eric and I were having a deadly duel at the arena, you went to dinner with Spark? How dare you?' he wondered. Brian said nothing. He turned around to leave, but Shirley, his mother, stepped in his way, preventing him from leaving. "Dragon Island is not small. Where are you going to replace them?" Shirley asked worriedly.

His face was turned slightly towards Shirley. "There's only people that I don't want to replace. There is no one in this world that I can't replace."

When he finished, he strode away.

"Papa Brian, wait!" Mark called. Then he chased after Brian and stopped in front of him and looked up at him. Just as he was about to say something, he suddenly thought of another thing, then hurriedly changed his mind and said, "Oh. I should call your uncle now."00000000000
