In the bustling afternoons at the Lippert Resort, a maid from the Sheldon family came visiting, sparking whispers and rumors. I couldn't believe what I heard-Granny had taken only the wild child out, leaving me fuming with jealousy. So, I stormed over to the Sheldon

estate. Holly, the ever-gracious host, welcomed me with open arms and an array of delicious treats, her words...

But before I could revel in the tales, Holly's face turned a shade darker, a storm brewing under the surface as Molly, the little tattletale, had let slip too much. "Miss Molly, I merely complimented your beauty. You're shivering; let me take you back inside for a change of clothes..." Holly attempted to divert the conversation.

Yet, Whitney gripped Molly's hand, seeking more, "What else did she say? Did she speak of Danny?"

Holly's demeanor shifted, a shadow of displeasure fleeting across her face.

Molly, undeterred, continued, "Yes, Granny adores Danny, showing him off as the Lippert family's precious heir. Holly pitied me, saying I deserved the title of the eldest lady of the main house. Fueled by rage, I confronted him, unable to fathom why his return garnered all the affection."

At this, Camilla's gaze softened, yet her eyes remained sharp, hinting at a brewing storm directed at Holly.

Whitney couldn't help but scoff, "Holly, Molly's but a child. Why stir discord among them, especially when they're both treasures of the Lippert family?"

Holly was quick to play the victim, "Whitney, you do me wrong. I simply adore Molly and got carried away."

"Is that so?" Whitney's tone was laced with skepticism, alluding to Holly's usual oversight of the Sheldon's staff and the convenient timing of their visit to the Lippert family, which brought Molly along.

Camilla's once warm gaze now harbored a hint of accusation.

Holly, feeling cornered by Whitney's insinuations and Molly's candid outburst, feared the repercussions of their grandmother's wrath.

Attempting to salvage her stance, Holly retorted with feigned innocence, "Whitney, I hardly oversee the comings and goings of guests. As for the incident at the pool, I'm as regretful as anyone; thankfully, no harm was done." "Yeah, thankfully," Whitney responded through gritted teeth, her smile barely concealing her disdain.

As the confrontation escalated, Hudson and Heidi arrived, with Heidi in a fury over her daughter's plight. She accused Danny of bullying Molly under the protection of his status, threatening violence.

Whitney intervened, highlighting Molly's aggression and manipulation, casting doubt on the true instigator of the conflict.

Molly's outburst about not involving the Lippert's staff was disregarded by Whitney, who subtly hinted at a deeper conspiracy, implicating an unidentified servant in the ordeal.

Holly, trapped by Whitney's insinuations and Hudson's growing disappointment, struggled to deflect the blame, suggesting a possible misidentification by Danny.

As the Lippert family sought to quell the scandal and attend to the children's well-being, Heidi's parting glare at Holly hinted at a brewing storm, her words a clear threat against any further machinations by Holly.

Whitney's protective stance over Danny and her challenge to Heidi to reconsider the source of Molly's vendetta hinted at deeper family dynamics and unresolved tensions within the Sheldon estate, setting the stage for a complex battle of wits and wills.

Holly was feeling particularly sour; her plan to get rid of that little brat had backfired spectacularly, making Whitney a hero in the eyes of Camilla, Hudson, and Heidi! Her last scheme, involving Joanne, had already put her at odds with the Lipperts, especially Riley. And now, she was on thin ice with the main branch of the family...

This could spell trouble for Florence's future with the Lipperts. If they started looking sideways at Holly, it would only make things harder for Florence.

Whitney, that cunning fox, was playing a dangerous game.

Under the moonlight, Whitney finally had a moment to hold her son and ask quietly, "What on earth were you doing at the Sheldons'? And keeping secrets from me, too. If you get into trouble again, do you have any idea how worried I'd be?"

Danny, feeling guilty, stuck out his tongue, "Sorry, Mom, I had my reasons... I'll explain later." He noticed his grandpa Hudson waiting up ahead.

His gaze lingered, hesitating as he looked towards the pond and the small, odd-looking villa behind it.

Earlier that day, he had stumbled upon the last of a row of peculiar, rundown villas. He hadn't had the chance to inspect the sealed door before Molly started causing trouble...

His heart had raced then, but now, that feeling was gone.

"Mom, I-Achoo!" Danny wanted to ask if he could go back and check out that villa.

"What's wrong?" Whitney quickly wrapped him up in a towel, "I'm taking you to see a doctor for your lungs."

Well, it was too dark now to see anything anyway.

And deliberately heading there would only raise suspicions.

He'd just have to come back another time to investigate!

Danny stayed quiet, snuggled in his mom's embrace.

Whitney didn't linger, heading straight out of the Sheldon's estate, until Hudson called out to her, "Whitney, make sure the boy gets a thorough check-up. We don't want him catching a chill. Danny, next time you visit the Sheldons, you better let your grandpa know." He said this in a hushed tone, mindful that Camilla was not far off.

With a worried frown, Hudson watched them leave. Whitney reassured her father, "I'll take good care of Danny. Oh, Dad, did you need something when you called earlier?"
