Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 222: Want to sleep with me?
Her whole body was wooden, allowing him to plunder her mouth.
She didn't know how long it had been, until she felt the air in her lungs almost drained and her breathing began to be difficult, before she jerked back to consciousness and struggled to push him away. Hector Rogers let her go for the moment, as she wished, but the arm around her waist tightened.
He breathed heavily, his breath hot and warm against her ear, and the words that came out of his mouth were husky and suppressed, "Eloise Thompson, I don't care what your past is, I don't care. I see the Eloise Thompson I know, not the Eloise Thompson of the past, and as I said before, you are not allowed to run away anymore. Who gave you permission to take my word for granted, eh?"
"I ..." Eloise Thompson opened her mouth to say something.
But Hector Rogers interrupted her, "Everyone has secrets, and if you don't want to talk about them, I won't force you to. If one day you suddenly want to talk to someone, then I'll listen, but of course, if that secret is something you want to keep for the rest of your life, then I don't care."
At that, his arms grew harder, as if he were trying to nestle her whole body inside him, and as if he was holding a lost treasure, "Eloise Thompson, you try leaving me? I'll show you what it's like to chase you to hell."
Eloise Thompson sniffed and just felt her nose tingle and a wave of tears welled up in her eyes.
Who was she to be treated by such a man?
She, Eloise Thompson, has been often beset by misfortune for the past twenty years or so, only to be treated by such a wonderful man after so many trials and tribulations.
He dutifully approached, ignoring the fact that she repeatedly and ruthlessly tried to push him away...
"Hector Rogers, you're just plain stupid."
Tears could no longer be held back from her eyes as Eloise Thompson buried her entire head in his arms and formally embraced him back.
Hector Rogers was in her ear, coaxing gently, "Don't cry, eh?"
Eloise Thompson said stiffly, "No, I'm not crying."
It's just sand in the eyes.
Hector Rogers seemed to give a laugh, then said nothing more and just held her quietly.
He waited until the person in his arms had quieted down before releasing them.
Eloise Thompson hung her head low, a little afraid to look Hector Rogers in the eye.
Her eyes were swollen and ugly from crying.
Hector Rogers didn't bother to break it up, but just urged her to go wash her face and then he was going to take her for a late dinner. Eloise Thompson didn't refuse.
She hadn't eaten much in the past few days and her stomach was cramping up at the moment and she needed to eat something to pad her tummy. Ten minutes later, the two men walked out hand in hand.
Hector Rogers held her hand tightly as if he would never let go of it, no matter what happened.
Eloise Thompson's heart seemed to warm as she felt the warmth from his fingertips.
Twenty minutes later, the two men were at a private restaurant near their home, ordering two bowls of clear congee and a few stacks of light, small dishes. Eloise Thompson took a small sip as Hector Rogers sat across the table and watched.
Eloise Thompson, a little uncomfortable by the stare, inquired, "Why aren't you eating? Not to your liking?"
"Not hungry, you eat more."
Hector Rogers reached out a hand and gently touched her cheek, "You don't look so good these days, next time I'll never forgive you."
Eloise Thompson's face flushed red.
She suddenly felt that Hector Rogers was killing it when he teased girls, especially when coupled with that god-like face... that made his legs go weak in minutes. Eloise Thompson, thunderstruck by her own thoughts, coughed lightly and said, "I'll keep eating then, give me your bowl too, I can finish it."
Hector Rogers said, "I'll blow it cold for you while you finish the bowl in front of you."
Eloise Thompson nods her head.
It was more than half an hour after a good meal.
Once out of the restaurant, Hector Rogers asked her, "Going back?"
Eloise Thompson nods, "Or else?"
Hector Rogers took her hand and said, "Don't go back, that place has bad memories, stay at my place tonight and I'll have someone change you tomorrow." "Huh? That ... won't be necessary, will it?" Eloise Thompson was taken aback and thought it was a bit of an understatement.
But Hector Rogers was insistent, "It has to be, I don't want you to be harassed by any strange people in the future. It's the way I can protect you, so you can't refuse me."
At his words, Eloise Thompson had no choice but to nod, "That ... is fine, but I'll sleep with Solomon."
Hector Rogers raised an eyebrow, "Another implication of that statement is that you want to sleep with me?"
Eloise Thompson choked, "Who wants to sleep with you!"
Hector Rogers lost his smile.
The following day, the Rogers family mansion.
Reeva Lawson came to visit Matriarch Rogers with a large bag of gifts.
Matriarch Rogers was overwhelmed by the sight of Reeva Lawson and greeted her with enthusiasm, saying, "Reeva, what are you doing here today?"
Reeva Lawson laughed, "It's nothing, I just dragged a friend back from overseas the other day with me to bring back a red coffee, it's a great tasting coffee and I thought my aunt would like it." With that, he handed over the gift box in his hand.
Matriarch Rogers laughed, "Still, you're a thoughtful girl." As he said this, he took the gift box and handed it to the butler, who asked him to make the coffee and bring the freshly baked dessert for Reeva Lawson. Reeva Lawson sits on the sofa, but her head is full of thoughts.
After talking to Felix Crammer left and right, she still felt something was wrong.
Hector Rogers has made an exception for Eloise Thompson, not once or twice, and there is no guarantee that this time it won't be the same as before.
So to be on the safe side, she still wanted to reveal this to Matriarch Rogers, the only way to cut off Eloise Thompson's chances of getting into the Rogers family once and for all.
At this thought, a glint of calculation swept across Reeva Lawson's eyes.
By now, the maids had brought up the desserts.
Matriarch Rogers greeted her, "Here, try it, I just baked it myself with less sugar, it's not too sweet, no fear of getting fat."
Reeva Lawson nodded her head while saying, "Aunty this is for Hector, isn't it? He doesn't like sweet."
"Yeah, you're the only one who knows him best." Matriarch Rogers laughed, "I was watching him being busy all day and having to rely on coffee to refresh himself. It's not good to drink too much of this coffee, it tends to grind his stomach, and I was afraid his stomach wouldn't hold up, so I made them both a little bit, and the other one, with extra sugar, is for Rupert and Solomon, so I won't take it to you."
Reeva Lawson smiled as she tasted a piece and said, "It's really well done and delicious."
"Really? Have some more if you like."
The two of them were laughing and joking, Matriarch Rogers liked Reeva Lawson more and more, he couldn't help but pat the back of her hand and said, "Reeva, Hector has basically never experienced feelings, so he may be a little slow in this area, or may have some wrong feelings, you are right beside him, remember Find more opportunities to get close to her and let him get to know you more, you are so good, you are not inferior to anyone, I believe, Hector can see the good in you."
Reeva Lawson's eyes suddenly dimmed for a moment when she heard this, "Aunty ... I know everything you said, but there are some things that are out of my control."
Matriarch Rogers couldn't help but frown, "Why do you say that?"
Reeva Lawson looked downcast, wanting to say something, as if torn between whether to say it or not. Matriarch Rogers saw the fuss right away and said, "Is it because of that Eloise Thompson again?"
