Love Comes To Me
Chapter 225: So much difference in treatment

Hector Rogers frowned and said coldly, "No need."

Matriarch Rogers, seeing his clear attitude and thinking that he had been tangled up with Eloise Thompson again in the last few days, was a little displeased and reminded once again, "I'm doing this for your own good and for Solomon's sake, do you want him to be without his mother around all the time?"

There was a clear look of helplessness in Hector Rogers' eyes.

He raised his hand to check the time on his wristwatch, not really wanting to waste time here.

The sight of Matriarch Rogers naturally made her more and more disgusted with Eloise Thompson.

What had that woman poured into his head that made her son, who had never been close to women, so mesmerised?

"Mum, if that's all you want to say, then I'll leave now, I've got things to do."

With that, Hector Rogers stood up to leave.

Matriarch Rogers couldn't help but get angry and bellowed, "Stop right there!"

She had always been graceful and noble, and had tolerated this older son, who was a steady worker, for the first time.

Hector Rogers had to stop and look at his mother when he was so drunk.

"Hector, you're not too young to start a family, no matter what."

Matriarch Rogers barely managed to suppress his burst of anger and said kindly, "You've got to think of Solomon and stop wasting your time out there." Hector Rogers' face sank slightly.

He treated Eloise Thompson with sincerity and was never a waste of time.

It had taken a lot of coaxing to get Eloise Thompson back, and he must not let her get away again because of side issues.

"Mom, I never thought what I was doing was a waste of time."

Hector Rogers, unwilling to contradict her, simply replied indifferently, "I have my own ideas about marriage, so don't worry about it."

"Claims? What claim can you make?"

Matriarch Rogers sank his face in, "Is that what you call claiming these days, except to surround yourself with an Eloise Thompson?"

After her angry rebuke, she thought for a moment and said with the utmost seriousness, "Do you really think I don't know anything about Eloise Thompson's unclean past and her affairs with other men? I will not allow you to marry a woman like that under any circumstances!"

At these words, Hector Rogers' brow furrows even more.

He wondered inwardly how his mother had known about it.

If memory serves, he deliberately kept the news under wraps and warned Rupert Rogers that nothing should be revealed.

And where did she get her information?

As he was concentrating, Matriarch Rogers shoved the picture into his arms: "I'm telling you, I'll do anything you want, but not this. So you'd better pick the one you like, or I'll pick it for you myself." After a few angry words, she turned and opened the door to leave the villa in a huff.

Hector Rogers looked at Matriarch Rogers' furious back, then at the photo in his hand, and threw it in the trash.

Who had leaked the information there, he had to replace out!

Half an hour later, Hector Rogers drove back to the residence of Eloise Thompson.

Eloise Thompson saw him and asked with concern, "So anxious to get back, is there something wrong?"

Hector Rogers responded tersely, "It's nothing, it's just a company matter, it's been sorted out."

"That's fine."

Eloise Thompson nodded in response, outwardly nonplussed but inwardly somewhat concerned.

His mother had never cared about company matters, so I'm afraid it wasn't that simple to call him back in such a hurry?

Does it have anything to do with yourself?

Eloise Thompson understands that his mother has disliked him for more than a day or two now, and he's afraid that if he goes back, he'll have to face the family's difficulties alone, right?

Perhaps sensing her discomfort, Hector Rogers took her into his arms with a long sweeping gesture.

Eloise Thompson struggled in his arms and flushed a blush of shame, "Get off me, it's not good for Solomon to see."

"What's wrong with that, Auntie Eloise, Daddy's holding you and Solomon's holding you."

Solomon looked like a blob, moving over quickly and clutching her thighs together as if she would run away in the next second.

For a moment, Eloise Thompson felt something, and with a sore eye, she reached out and picked Solomon up, dropping a soft kiss on his forehead.

Hector Rogers looked on with discontent in his eyes, why was he treated so differently from Solomon?

Solomon was sharp-eyed and immediately smiled, "Daddy, are you jealous?" Auntie Eloise just kissed me."

Hector Rogers curled his lips, pinched Solomon's cheek and whispered, "Looks like I'll have to send you to your grandparents."

Solomon turned his face away at once and buried his whole head into Eloise Thompson's chest, muttering, "I don't want to, I want to stay with Auntie Eloise. auntie eloise... you don't want daddy to kick Solomon go away, okay?" As Eloise Thompson listened to the father and son juggling, the slightest hint of apprehension she had earlier vanished and she smiled brightly, "Don't worry Solomon, Auntie Eloise will never let you get kicked out."

Hector Rogers bristled and suddenly reached out and hooked his hand, violently wrapping a large and small child tightly in his arms, then Solomon's eyes were covered.

He lowered his head and kissed Eloise Thompson on the lips.

The scent that is uniquely his seductive aura invades instantly.

Eloise Thompson's entire body froze.

Solomon struggled, "Daddy what are you doing?"

Hector Rogers let go of him with a shallow taste and a winning smile on his lips.

Eloise Thompson's cheeks burst into red, "You..."

Solomon looked at his daddy with displeasure, "Why are you covering my eyes."

Hector Rogers didn't say anything, just silently admired the unique shyness of the girl in his arms.

Eloise Thompson, her head spinning at the sight, hastily hugged Solomon and fled.

Later in the evening, when Eloise Thompson had put Solomon to bed, she saw that the lights were still on outside and came out to have a look.

The long figure of a man is seen standing next to the balcony, propped up on the parapet with one hand and holding a glass of red wine next to it.

It seems to be dedicated to her.

Eloise Thompson walks over.

Hector Rogers asks, "Drink?"

Eloise Thompson nodded, "Good."

She brought it up and took a shallow sip.

She wasn't much of a drinker, but she moved very nicely, especially with her moonlit lips, which had a sheen to them that made you want to kiss them. The heart moves slower than the action.

Hector Rogers took a sip of his drink and pulled her into his arms, cupping her face in a deep, passionate kiss.

In the next instant, the rich red wine, gradually crossed from his mouth to hers.

Eloise Thompson held her breath and allowed him to pry open her shell teeth and intertwine her tongue.
