Reeva Lawson approached her, took her arm affectionately and asked with concern, "Miss Eloise, are you all right?" "It's all good."

Eloise Thompson drew back her hand uncomfortably; it was really disturbing to see her like that.

There was always the feeling that she was up to no good.

Reeva Lawson's eyes flickered with grimness and the smile on her face grew wider, "Well that's good. I was worried about you." "Thank you for your concern."

Not wanting to say anything to her, Eloise Thompson changed the subject and said to Hector's mother, "Auntie, Hector says he's working late tonight and won't be back for dinner."

Hector's mother listened with a frown, "Why is there so much work?"

Hector Rogers came back for dinner every day during this period because Eloise Thompson was staying here, and even Rupert Rogers, who was always out of the house, would come along and the whole house was much livelier. She told herself not to panic or she would let Reeva Lawson have her way.

With a twinkle in her eye, Reeva's mother turned to Hector's mother and said, "Matriarch, you don't even know that word of this Miss Eloise having had a child out of wedlock has been going around for a long time and the reviews aren't good. Hector's mother looked at her askance, and her grip on her chopsticks tightened.

This mother and daughter have come here today with the intention of causing trouble.
