Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 364: From now on you are mine
At this moment, Eloise was so stunned that she didn't know what to say, only to cover her mouth tightly with her hand and stare at Hector speechless for a while, her eyes glistening with water.
A mixture of emotion, happiness and excitement, all mixed into one indescribable feeling at the moment.
The fireworks were still blossoming overhead, and the noise around them seemed to be cut off as they looked at each other.
It seemed that at this moment, they were the only two people left in the world.
When Eloise didn't say anything, Hector continued, "Maybe you think this proposal is a bit abrupt, but it's something I've been thinking about for a long time, and I've just put it off until now. I've been thinking about it for a long time and I feel that it's too perfunctory, but I also understand that I've wanted to marry you for more than a day or two, so I've chosen today to let this starry sky witness our relationship."
After saying this, he couldn't help but look at the sky and continued to speak, "The stars in the sky are the stars of other galaxies, in my eyes, they are called stars because they can last forever, and I hope we can last forever too. eloise, I love you, I want to take care of you for the rest of my life, if I can, no matter how many lifetimes, I want to take care of you, can I?"
Hector had never been a man of many words, but on a day like today, he had gone on for the first time in his life to say such a long list of words, regardless of whether Eloise said anything to him or not.
The huge diamond ring in his hand glittered in the light of the fire.
Eloise, after hearing these words, was moved beyond belief, whether it was the starry sky she saw standing in the forest of flowers, or the man half-kneeling in front of her, she thought it was the most beautiful sight. How could she not be moved by all the best things that were close at hand?
Hector's throat twitched, intending to say something more, and at the same time Eloise blurted out, tears falling with her, "I do."
Hector was so taken aback by her pearly face that he forgot to take the ring out and put it on.
As if he hadn't heard her, Eloise nodded desperately, saying, "I do, Hector, I love you too."
Hector was overcome with emotion, and after getting up and putting the ring on her hand, he took her into his arms, and with all his strength, he wanted to take this woman into his body.
The sound of the fireworks still lingered in her ears, as if they had turned into a blessing for the couple in front of her to be married.
Hector looked at her closely, ruffled her hair on her forehead and lowered his head into a kiss.
The kiss was sweet and long, all the happiness and suffering the two of them had experienced for so long melted into it.
I don't know how long it took before Hector let go of Eloise and whispered, "Let's go back, Rupert and the others are still waiting."
Eloise nodded, remembering that Solomon was still at Rupert's and kind of wanting to see him too.
They had only taken a couple of steps out of the room holding hands when they saw a man come out, a familiar figure, none other than Rupert.
Eloise froze for a moment and said, "Rupert, what are you doing here?"
Rupert smiled wickedly, "It's not just me, there are others too, and they should be here soon. Before they come, let me wish my brother and sister-in-law a long and happy life."
Hearing him give such a serious wish, Hector couldn't help but spit out, "Why are you suddenly so official?"
Rupert said, "Isn't this a very everyday thing? It feels like it's the same thing, so I'll give you another blessing in a different tone?"
"Okay, okay, that's fine." Eloise pink-facedly interrupted Rupert, afraid that he would actually give his blessing again. She was already embarrassed that he had given her a proper blessing, but if she did it again, she would have to replace a hole in the ground.
She looked so delightful, and Hector looked at her with a doting look on his face.
By this time, all those people Rupert had mentioned appeared, only to smile and give their blessing.
It was only then that Eloise noticed that these were all the guests from the party earlier, and needless to say, these were all the people Hector had called over to see the fun.
The thought of so many people witnessing her happiness made Eloise feel as if even the air around her was sweet.
The sound of those people's blessings didn't stop there...
"I wish the president and his wife to grow old together and be together forever."
"Congratulations to the president for finally getting his beauty back."
"It's true that lovers are finally married, congratulations."
...
Eloise felt that what was happening before her eyes was so unreal that it felt like a dream.
Hector seemed to sense the difference and gently took her by the waist, asking in a low voice, "Eloise, what's wrong with you? Don't you feel well?"
Eloise then came back to her senses a little, shook her head and said busily, "No, I just feel like I'm dreaming, it's a bit surreal."
At these words, Hector couldn't help but hook the corners of his mouth, his little wife was really cute, she was actually so moved by the proposal, so if she really got married, what would she do at the wedding?
The thought of the wedding made Hector's heart swell. Now that he had succeeded in proposing, the wedding was bound to happen sooner or later.
The thought of the woman in his arms becoming his wife was as sweet as honey.
There is no such thing as natural coldness, but Hector's tenderness is only for Eloise.
The two returned to the party, but by this time they were no longer in the party mood, and the guests were understanding, so this time the party was much more casual and everyone came with the idea of having a good time. This made Eloise's heart feel a lot lighter, as the focus of attention was not on her alone.
It was already early in the morning when the party broke up and Eloise felt exhausted from what she had done today.
Once in the room, she couldn't help but lie down and look at the wooden ceiling in the room, which still felt a little surreal to her.
When Hector saw her look, his heart fluttered and he couldn't help but press up and kiss her gently.
In her daze, she clearly heard him say, "You're mine now."
Perhaps it was the feeling that the dust had settled that made both of them sleep so well this night. A dreamless night.
