Chapter 367: Show of affection

While the assistant at the side just looked envious at the sight, Marian secretly clenched her fist.

The assistant observed the change in Marian's aura and couldn't help but ask, "Marian, what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing."

Leaving a cold sentence, Marian left.

After Solomon woke up from his nap, Hector instructed the housekeeper to send him back to school; although he was still young, he could not make a habit of skipping school.

By the end of the day, Eloise had finished her work and was relieved to see that there was no more paperwork on her desk to be dealt with.

After a quick tidy-up of her desk, she went upstairs to ask Hector to come home with her.

When she arrived at the office, she found Rupert there and greeted him with a smile, "Hector's here."

"Sister-in-law." Rupert said with a wink and a playful grin as he said it.

When Hector saw it, he shot a look over and Rupert immediately became very well behaved.

He said, "I think he's watching his sister-in-law too closely, so I don't think we should joke around.

Seeing that Hector had no intention of getting up, Eloise teased out, "It's closing time, isn't the president going home?"

"As the president, I have to work harder than ordinary employees, so wait for me after I finish the last file."

With that, Hector got up and pulled Eloise to his side, leaving a kiss on the corner of her lips.

Seeing Rupert staring straight at them, Eloise couldn't help but blush and pouted in a small voice, "Rupert is still here, how can you ..."

Catching a glimpse of the blush on Eloise's cheeks, Hector hooked up a smile and looked at Rupert with a victorious look.

Seeing the winning smile on his brother's face, Rupert became furious, daring him to do this on purpose, and directly shouted, "Hey, you two are too careless of the occasion, at least now there is a single dog like me eh, how can you show your love blatantly, it really hurts my heart."

"Then you should have found a wife sooner, so you don't have to be a light bulb all day, I spoil my wife in a time and place?" Hector took a rare moment to pay attention to the spiteful Rupert, and the words that came out of his mouth were particularly poignant to Rupert.

With that said Rupert's mind couldn't help but think of Aisly.

Eloise sniffed and looked at Rupert with a gossipy look on her face, "Is the petite person Aisly?"

"Only ... is not that cheesy person of hers, sister-in-law, don't make up your mind." As if his heart had been poked through, Rupert said somewhat uncomfortably.

After tapping on the keyboard for the last time, Hector finished his work for the day, got up and asked, "I'm off work, do you want to come back with us?" "No, I'm going to the hospital today to have my cast removed." Rupert said and tapped his leg.

"Then let the assistant go with you, she can take care of you too."

Rupert sniffed and was going to refuse because he had already made an appointment with Aisly in advance and didn't want anyone else to disturb them.

He had originally come to the office today to wait for Aisly to get off work, and it would be easier for her to take him to the hospital.

Before he could say no, he saw Marian pushing her way through the door and handing the papers to Hector, "I'm done for the day, let me accompany Mr Rupert to the hospital."

Hector smiled and looked at Rupert, asking his opinion.

He nodded his head and went straight down.

Sitting in the car, Rupert sent a message to Aisly, telling her not to come to the office and to go straight to the hospital to wait for him.

Aisly was just getting off work and was about to pick him up when she received this message, and somehow, Aisly felt a little empty. These days, whenever Aisly has free time, she goes to look after Rupert, who is always playing tricks on her.

But she was actually enjoying herself. Looking at the text on her phone, the thought came to her mind, was there someone else with him? Startled by this sudden thought, Aisly hurriedly gathered herself and went to the hospital.

When Rupert arrived at the hospital, he saw Aisly staring blankly at the ground and hit her on the head.

"Aisly, what are you staring at?"

Startled by Rupert's sudden appearance, Aisly was about to hit him when she saw an extremely beautiful woman following him.

At first she froze, but didn't ask any questions and took Rupert straight to the doctor's office.

Seeing that it was the Rogers family, the doctor took it upon himself to come and remove Rupert's cast, and after doing so, admonished, "Mr Rupert, although your leg is recovering well, don't jump around for a short time, it will heal in time if nothing happens."

Rupert nodded at his words, during which Aisly did not say a word.

After leaving the hospital entrance, Rupert looked at Aisly with a curious face, how come this girl, who was usually so able to talk back to herself, was so abnormal today?

"What's wrong with you? You're not sick, are you?"

Rupert was about to put his hands on her, but Aisly dodged and said indifferently, "Take care of yourself from now on, and don't come back."

Rupert felt a bit bad when he saw her avoiding him a bit, but he acted very spontaneous.

He waved a hand at Marian, "Marian let's go."

Marian nodded and the pair left.

Aisly's eyes darkened a little as she watched the back of the two leaving, but also quickly collected her emotions.

Marian was a little curious as to how Rupert had been injured and once in the car asked, "How did Mr Rupert's leg get injured?"

Rupert said with a careless smile, "Someone kidnapped Solomon earlier and my sister-in-law was injured trying to save Solomon, I took a hit for them, I tell you Marian, it's a good thing I was smart, otherwise it would have been my brother who was injured that day."

Marian had always wanted to know how Hector and Eloise met and couldn't resist asking tentatively, "So how did the prince and Miss Eloise meet, huh, that the prince could be so caring to a woman makes me a little curious." Rupert slapped his thigh straight after hearing this and said excitedly, "Then you've asked the right person, I'm the one who set up the relationship line between my sister-in-law and my brother."

Then Rupert started to tell how the two of them met and how they established their relationship, blowing their relationship out of the water.
