Love Comes To Me
Chapter 391: I'm worried about you

Eloise looked at Solomon's cute face, smiled and stroked his head, picked him up and said, "Mummy knows that Solomon is a little man and can protect mummy, so let's go upstairs and rest now, shall we?" "Yes." Solomon replied good-naturedly.

But on the way upstairs, Eloise's right eyelid kept fluttering and her heart was in a panic for no reason at all, a feeling that terrified Eloise.

Could something really have happened to Hector?

She washed up for Solomon as usual so that he wouldn't see what was going on, without any extra emotion on her face.

Once everything was ready, Eloise lay down and patted Solomon's back to lull him to sleep.

But after lying down, the feeling of anxiety increased and Eloise had to sit up, looking at the bright moonlight on the ground, but Eloise felt that the night was a little dark and scary. "Mummy, I'm a bit scared..."

Solomon also sat up at that moment and took Eloise's hand tightly.

Eloise felt the sweat on Solomon's palms and hastily picked him up.

"Solomon is good, Mummy is here."

In her arms, Solomon slowly fell asleep, but Eloise was not at all sleepy.

After Solomon had fallen asleep, Eloise went to the window and stared blankly at the night sky.

Hector, I'm worried about you...

She called several more times in quick succession, but there was no answer.

She tried Rupert, Aisly's phone, but a mechanical female voice answered her.

Suddenly a bad thought rose in Eloise's mind, could it be that Aisly had been kidnapped? Were they going to rescue her?

But she quickly dismissed it herself, Aisly was just a little nurse, no one would do anything to her.

But she was still in a panic, and it looked like it was going to be a sleepless night.

On the other hand, Hector had woken up, feeling some pain in the back of his neck, and as he woke up, the police officers around him kept a distance from him. Seeing that the factory in the distance had by now burned to the ground, Hector couldn't care less and went back inside, stumbling a little but still moving forward. No one dared to stop Hector as he staggered.

As he entered the fire, Hector kept shouting Rupert's name, but all he got was the sound of burning wood.

The smoke was so thick that he couldn't open his eyes, but Hector never flinched.

At that moment, in some dark basement, Aisly shook the unconscious Rupert and kept shouting.

The floor had caved in at the moment of the explosion, and as the abandoned factory was in disrepair, it could not withstand the shockwave of the blast.

Luckily, the air in the basement was still flowing well enough for the two men not to have difficulty breathing.

When the explosion went off, Rupert clung to Aisly, shielding his body from the blast with his own, causing his back to now be badly burned and his whole body to fall into a coma.

Aisly only suffered some minor bruises, nothing serious.

When Aisly saw Rupert's back, she could no longer hold back the tears that came to her eyes.

How could this man be so stupid as to use his own body as a shield against the fire?

Aisly cried out as she tore the clinging clothes off his body, "Rupert, I'm telling you, if you die like this, I'll never forgive you for the rest of my life."

But all she got in response was the sound of blasting outside, by now the temperature on Rupert's body was getting warmer and warmer, and Aisly fought back her tears and began to do the simple act of administering aid to Rupert. "It hurts..." Rupert said in his unconsciousness.

Aisly kept blowing, hoping to ease the pain in his body.

Aisly's face was a mixture of blood and sweat and the dust from the explosion, but she looked a mess.

Aisly began to work on Rupert, whose clothes had just come off, but his wounds were still bleeding.

There were no tools around, so Aisly tore her own clothes and wrapped them around the wound in layers, hoping to stop the bleeding.

The work finally stopped the bleeding.

Aisly wiped the beads of sweat from her forehead and began to apply pressure to his chest and also to give him artificial respiration to help him breathe in fresh air, so that he could come back to life once the smoke inside his chest cavity was replaced.

But after a long time of resuscitation work, Rupert still showed no signs of slowing down, instead he was breathing less in and more out.

"Rupert, you can't die, you haven't paid for my work yet, you can't renege on your debt."

"Rupert, if you wake up, I'll grant you all your demands."

"Rupert, wake up!!!"

...

Aisly's emotions broke down a little at this point, she kept pounding the ground and crying out, she hated herself so much for being so incompetent and causing this to happen to him as well. "Cough, cough, I'm not dead yet ..." came Rupert's weak tone as he coughed over with a breath.

Upon hearing his voice, Aisly slowed down a lot and cried out.

"You're ... crying ... early, I'm ... not ... not okay yet." Rupert said trying to wipe the tears from her face, but there wasn't an ounce of strength in his body.

Aisly sniffed at his shoulder lightly whacked, some angry said, "What time is it, you still make such jokes, you stupid, come to save me for what, and also make yourself so miserable, not to mention you do not come, they will not really do anything to me, and besides we are not what relationship ... ..."

Aisly's voice was getting smaller and smaller, her heart hopeful but more disappointed that she had nothing to do with him.

Rupert coughed twice before saying, "Don't be naive, you'd be a corpse if I hadn't come... Those two you think are some kind of good guys? They're world class killers ..."

"Ahem, you'd better stop talking and save your strength, we don't even know where this place is, not to mention they won't even necessarily replace us."

At this point a thick cloud of smoke drifted in and Aisly coughed violently as she helped Rupert to his feet.

Rupert was drowsy again after just waking up and Aisly was terrified and kept patting his cheek.

More and more smoke began to pour in and Aisly couldn't help but cough violently.

Rupert saw this and said weakly, "Don't waste your strength, just cover your mouth and nose ... at least stay alive until my brother comes to help ..."

The smoke was eating away at Aisly and she couldn't see much in front of her, but she had a belief in her heart that she had to survive and take Rupert with her out of here.
