Chapter 15

Third Person P.O.V

Abby has been caught in the nightmare realm belonging to Keres for the last three weeks. She is sure about how much time has gone, even though time seems to move slower here. In this realm, she has not been but for a couple of days, but the realm lets her hear and see snippets of what’s happening in the hospital room, where her body is lying, and therefore, she knows it has been three weeks.

Galaxy has been quiet. Abby knows she is still there in the back of her mind, but not giving any signs of ‘waking up’ soon. The last thing Abby heard from Galaxy was that she would try to communicate with Blade and let him know they were alright.

Kere has been here all the time, showing this was her punishment for the witches, who forcefully brought Abby back from her meadow. Selene came and stayed with Abby, assuring the girl she would eventually return home. Arguing with Keres on whether she may hold Abby’s consciousness in her realm without Abby’s consent or not.

As if she can feel the girls enter the dream realm, Galaxy stirs in the back of Abby’s mind. Abby shows no sign of what is about to happen, but keeps listening intently to the goddesses’ bickering. She can feel the girls draw nearer, as if her soul is calling out to them to come take her back home. She instinctively knows this is what she has been waiting for. And even though she knows from the conversations in the hospital room, it has been three weeks; it still doesn’t feel that long to her.

Suddenly, there is a flash of light, and then three girls appear. Abby recognises the two of them, but the third girl is a foreigner.

She is beautiful and feels full of life and happiness. Even though she is a stranger to Abby, she knows the soul of this girl. Young woman. She is the fourth Star wolf, a hybrid, but a Star wolf none the less.

Keres cackles.

“So, you want to retrieve the little Queen. How nice, but she is staying here.” Keres states full of confidence that she will keep the Queen in place until they set her plan into motion.

Keres seems to be unknowing of the plan her sisters have already set into motion, a plan to out power her army and Keres herself, a plan she made with her sisters a long time ago. Once when she was ready to fight with her sisters and not against them.

But the three girls will have none of that, and they shift simultaneously. They are ready to fight their way out of here if necessary.

Sami changes into a wolf with a dark bronze fur that has a bright red crimson hue to it. Her eyes resembling melted copper, and her tail was full of traces of a dark purple, like looking at the last light of dusk.

Morgan’s wolf is a deep blue, like the midnight sky. She has a bright gold shine to her fur, almost like looking at a newly minted golden coin. Her eyes resemble a deep emerald green with a trace of silver. Her tail also having the hints of purple mixed with bronze.

Ellie’s wolf is a tad bit smaller than her sisters, but her fur is white as the newly fallen snow. The shade of her fur is like melted copper, and her eyes a mix between deep blue and gold. The streaks of her tail, the brightest purple amongst them all.

As the sisters shift, Abby takes a moment to behold the sight of these three gorgeous wolves. Going over the similarities between the wolves. How the colors mix through them all. It is all very curious and beautiful at once. A hissing sound from Keres brings Abby back to reality, and she seamlessly shifts into Galaxy.

Galaxy takes a stance in front of her sisters, being the biggest of them all. The Queen amongst the wolves and witches, taking her rightful place at last.

What the girls and Keres don’t know is that they aren’t yet at full power. A fifth and last star wolf is still out there, longing to belong and replace their soul sisters and Queen.

Abby’s P.O.V

I am finally united with my soul sisters, though Galaxy keeps buggin me, we have yet to be complete. Whatever that mean?

I can feel Galaxy vibrating in her body with pure happiness, and I feel equally happy for us. The girls are beautiful in both human and wolf form. I can’t quite comprehend this feeling of home, family and love emanating from all of them towards me. We are their Queen and leader, and with this thought Galaxy walks in front of the girls, standing tall, looking regal. As a true Luna, Queen of the wolves and witches.

‘Wow Abby, your wolf is so gorgeous.’ Morgan’s voice rings out in my head. The other two girls are naturally included and nod their approval. I giggle and send them all a mental image of their wolves.

‘Galaxy is not the only gorgeous wolf around. Y’all are amazing!’ I say back with a smile. The girls marvel at the image and arrases their respective wolves’ looks. Galaxy sits down and stares at Keres.

‘Let us go home, Mistress of Evil. We do not wish to fight you or anyone else, we just wish to be reunited with our family. It is not too late to leave this peacefully.’ Galaxy says towards the Dark Goddess mentally. Keres laughs.

“Stupid wolf. You really think I will just let you go in peace, no harm done? You are MY creations as well, and some silly girl in wolf form will not command me.” Keres sneers.

In a fluid motion, she summons demon upon demon.

Galaxy takes a striking stand. This is about to go down and they will not subject us to fear. We will go down fighting if necessary. Galaxy agrees silently.

‘We will take them down easily, don’t worry, doll. We are indeed creations of the goddesses, but she forgets that you, Morgan and Sami have smaller parts of her because of your lack of demon b***d. AND Ellie is a Luna, so her wolf’s b***d is stronger than her demon b***d by far. Not to mention that YOUR birthmother, the former witch Queen, a good and pure soul, who shared her b***d with Ellie through her womb, carried her. Ellie chose, as a foster, to let the goodness consume her, and it deluded her demon b***d to a minimum because of that. Keres is a fool, if she thinks Selene is stupid. Everything leading up to this has happened for a reason.’ Galaxy says privately to me.

The demon’s attack. Galaxy leads our sisters, and all four of us fights as one. I can feel how we are stronger, faster and more fierce with our sisters at our side. Morgan’s wolf creates a strong wind that works like a barrier, shredding every demon foolish enough to get near her.

When Sami’s wolf bites a demon, they turn to ice and blow up, while Ellie’s wolf whips the demons with a whip made of fire.

They work seamlessly together, bringing death to all who come near. Galaxy combining the powers of wind and fire, sending fireballs to all who dares to threaten us or Selene. The demons soon retreat, looking utterly afraid, while Keres is seething in her defeat.

Keres looks upon the four of us and knows she is both outnumbered and out powered. She will never hold against our wolves, because the powers of all the goddesses AND the different elementals run through our veins.

Keres looks at Selene, her eyebrows furrowed.

“So you’ve revived the Star wolves, huh sister? This will not do! I won’t allow them to walk the realm for long. Be aware, Selene, now all my children will know they are here, and they WILL kill them. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon.” Keres states.

Galaxy growls at the threat to her and our sisters. She knows the goddess will stop at nothing.

“Oh, no matter. When I have the little vampire girl in my hands, she will be twice as strong as them, and end them all, anyway.” Keres mutters, but all four of us hear her.

‘You will never get your hands on Dana and Jayden’s child, Mistress of evil! They will rather end the world, then hand over their child to you and your cronies.’ The girl, whose name I have yet to learn, wolf says in everyone’s mind. Keres narrows her eyes. Clearly annoyed with our presence, not expecting us to be so strong.

‘Now let our Queen go, or this will end badly for you!’ Ellie’s wolf growls.

Keres clearly knows better than to fight all four Star wolves at one time, especially when she can feel the bond already being strong amongst us. I observe her through Galaxy’s eyes and know she will come back another day and try again.

“Okay, okay. No need to get your tail in a twist there, little wolf. I will let your precious Queen go, and we can all be friends.” The sarcasm isn’t hard to hear, but I don’t really care. I just want to go home.

– We feel a rush of air and everything shifts. I suddenly feel my body much more clear and open my eyes.-

I hear the distinct thunder of a door being banged on. It opens with a crash and all the guys rush in. They are all looking panicked, and rush to their respective mate with wolf speed.

“Baby! You are awake. How, what, where, why? Never leave me like this again. I love you so much. I can’t live without you. You have no idea how scared I have been. WHAT HAPPENED?!” Matt says all this in one breath, before he yells the last part to all of us, eyes black and fangs bared. Every guy has back eyes and we realise their wolves have surfaced simultaneously.

I can’t help but giggle at their antics and the girls laugh with me. All of us k**s our mate on the cheek and assure them we are alright, more than alright.

“Little Luna, you scared me half to death and here you are – after three weeks – might I add, and laughing. This is not funny and whoever kidnapped you twice is dead!” Matt says with a deeper voice, eyes still pitch black. I k**s him on the mouth this time.

“I’m sorry, Blade, but I’m really okay. The girls rescued me. As for who kidnapped me. Well.. It was Keres, the goddess of evil, demons and every dark creature out there.”

Blade huffs before he lets Matt take control once again. I have missed those deep forest green orbs, the smile, and the scent of pine and fresh rain. Matt embraces me in his muscular arms, sniffing my hair, relaxing under my touch. I look around the room of people, my family, that has just been expanded by two fresh faces. I lock eyes with the unfamiliar girl. She blushes under my stare, but I smile.

“Hi. We have not been introduced yet, but thank you for saving me. I’m Abby, by the way.” I say with a laugh. The girl sends us a small wave.

“Hi Luna Abby, my name is Sami and I’m the mate of Alpha Benjamin. I am actually a hybrid – vampire and werewolf.” The girl tries to hide behind her mate, but Benjamin pulls her in front of him and puts his arms around her.

“Omg, that is so cool! May I ask what you wolf is called? Mine is Galaxy, and she is a bundle of excitement right now.”

“Umm. Her name is Polaris, and she says we are a water/ice elemental. Whatever that means.” Sami says with unsure eyes.

“Ooh, that name is sooo cute! My wolf is Vega. I’m a tribrid between demon, witch and wolf and we are a fire elemental, she says.” Ellie interrupts with glee before she realises she just blurted her heritage, and hides behind Jason, who in turn pulls her to his side and k****s her temple. I can’t help but laugh at her energy.

Benjamin stares at Ellie and shakes his head in confusion.

“You’re a demon, witch and wolf tribird? How?” He asks, eyes narrow and mouth a thin line. I clear my throat after mind-linking Ellie quickly to get her permission to tell the story, so everyone is up to date, and we can get on with things. She gives a slight nod, leaning into Jason for support and comfort.

“Ellie’s original parents were killed by my birthmother, who didn’t know they had made an enchantment on the woman’s womb. My mother gave birth to Ellie and her twin, who is evil btw, and by that she transferred some of her witch powers to Ellie and said twin. When Jason turned her, she became a tribird. And I might add, she is my sister and you will accept her Alpha Benjamin, at least as long as you are in MY territory. Ellie has never been evil, or let her demon side be prominent, other than to use the powers for good. So I ask you now, do we have a problem, Alpha?” Benjamin looks from my murderous eyes, to everyone else in the room, who also gives the ‘touch her and we will have a problem’ look. Then Sami takes his head in her hands.

“Baby, she is my soul sister, a star wolf and just fought demons with us all. I trust her. She has a pure heart.” Sami says softly. Benjamin looks at Jason and Ellie for a moment, before a small smile graces his lips.

“If my Luna says you are okay, then you are okay. I am sorry for judging you so quickly, but in my defense, we are raised to mistrust anyone with a trace of demon in them. Please accept my apology Luna and Alpha.” He gives a slight bow in Ellie and Jason’s direction, who nods with a smile. The atmosphere lessens and I look at Morgan, who looks like she’d rather get swallowed by the ground than speak in the current company. Brandon nudges her and takes her hand to his lips.

“Uh.. I’m Morgan, a hybrid between witch and wolf and my wolf’s name is Antares. We are a wind elemental.” She rambles and hides her face in Brandon’s chest.

As everyone is now introduced, Matt demands to be told what had happened when they couldn’t get through the door. I am about to tell the guys everything when a small bundle of energy hits me and I hear one of my favorite voices.

“AAAAAAH, ABBY! YOU ARE AWAKE. I HAVE MISSED YOOOOOOU!” A high-pitched child’s voice rings out through the room and makes everyone jump. I am now engulfed in Willow. All of Willow. She is crying, clearly distraught. I have been “away”. Jax saunters in after Willow.

“My Queen, it’s good to see you awake at last.” Jax bows slightly and pries Willow off me, holding the crying child in his arms.

Right then the doctor, no one had remembered to call with me waking up and all the confusion about who was who and why, enters the room.

“Oh, no, no, no! Out everyone. The Queen needs rest, solids and therapy. She has been out for three weeks, for goodness’ sake. OUT!” The doctor orders everyone to leave at once, seeing all my visitors. I pout. I don’t want them to leave, especially not the girls. Everyone clears, not without protests though, especially Willow, who had just come to see me. Matt, who the doctor knows better than to make leave, sits in the chair while the doc takes my vitals.

“Its good to have you back Luna Queen.” The doc says with a smile.

“But with you coma, we need to keep you, until you can eat properly and start physiotherapy.”

Galaxy snorts in my mind.

‘We need nothing of the sorts. We are a descendant of the goddesses of this realm. I have healed our muscles. But we need food, proper food, before we can do anything slightly like workout.’ Galaxy says and I relay what she said.

“Well, then we need to get some food in your system. Also, we need to monitor you until you can eat full meals throughout the day, AND get the different tubes and aids removed.” The Doc says sternly.

This is going to be boring out of my mind, but I know not to argue with the Doc. I nod obediently, and she smiles before walking out, leaving me with Matt.
