Luna Abigail
Chapter 50: Epilogue two

Third person P.O.V.

The twins are getting older by the minute. They are having the time of their lives as they search for the boundaries of what someone of rank can and cannot do. Not that that will stop them.

Amber is the calm and collected of the two of them. Always keeping a level head, even in the sight of danger. Which has been plenty.

Maze, however, is chaotic, hotheaded and short-tempered. He loved fiercely and protects his family at all costs.

From the time of their birth, they have always known they were different. They had powers from the get go, and grown up with training and meditation. Maybe that’s why they have such a difference in temperaments? Maze always hated meditating, cheating on every corner, while Amber loved it. She would spend hours every day meditating or reading about how to obtain inner peace and control.

Maze loved the outdoors, tracking and hunting. Training combat in both human and wolf form. By the age of twelve, he shifted seamlessly, controlling the body of his wolf without a hitch.

As they got older, the twins enjoyed to spent more time with their friends. But Amber retracted a bit from them. She loved her extended family to a default, but she could not talk to a boy without one of the males in her family came and flexed their muscles. Now people seems scare to approach her.

She complained of this to her mother, who laughed at her predicament.

“Darling, why haven’t you done the same? Scare of the girls. Harming no one, of course. Every time one of your brothers talks to a girl, send her walking the other way. Maybe that’ll teach them some respect for boundaries.” Abby suggests. As Amber walks away, Abby replaces the guys.

“The next one who interferes with MY daughter talking to a boy, will have spar with me and my wolf for the next month at morning training. Are we clear, gentlemen?” Abby says, after turning off the game. She is standing with hands on her h**s, staring down at the guys sitting in there.

Everyone nods, even Matt, who knows they crossed the line this time. Amber must have talked to her. They would just have to be more discreet from now on.

As all the kids became teenagers, the boys started flirting with girls, getting interested in the other s*x. This was a hard time for the girls, who didn’t know why, but got irrationally annoyed when a certain boy flirted with another girl, or a girl got too close to one of the boys. Especially Mira Rose and the twins Kara and Lori had to walk out of the room more than once when Maze and the twins Ezra and Joshua put on the charms and it wasn’t towards them.

As Maze, Amber and Mira Rose’s eighteen birthday came closer, Abby and Matt talked. They needed to sit their children down. First of all, they needed to tell the twins of the prophecy and they needed to talk to Amber about the dragons. They could turn up at any time now with only goddess knows what demands.

They decided to wait until the morning of their birthday, and they would tell them everything.
