Chapter 9

(Third person P.O.V)

“No way… How did you beat the alpha? You must show me your ways, Abby.” Kaiden shouts, as they all come back from training.

Abby was sparing with Matt, and she had beaten his a*s in wolf and human form.

He never told her she couldn’t use her powers, and she knew Matt didn’t go full out in their training.

“Pfft, my Luna is something special and besides; I didn’t want to embarrass her in front of the pack so soon.” Matt huff. Abby rolls her eyes.

“Yeah right. I can take you any day, any time, Mr. Alpha.” Abby answers, while taking a bottle of water from the fridge.

“But for that comment there, I will not be inviting you to shower with me after all.” Abby says sweetly as she makes her way to the stairs. Matt catches up with her at once.

“A shower with you?” He asks excitedly.

“Nah uh Mr. alpha. Not when you say such horrid things about me.. Going easy, my a*s..” Abby grumbles, the last part out, and makes her way to the bathroom. Matt stands rooted to the spot. What the heck just happened?

“Don’t worry man. She’ll come around.” Kaiden tries to console his alpha and friend. He knows Matt has messed up, but seeing how his badass Luna took it all cool and collected. Haha, it was really priceless.

Matt took a moment to comprehend what had just happened, and then ran to the bathroom. She would surely not punish him like this? He would show his little Luna, who is the boss in this relationship.

‘Hahaha, you are definitely not the boss around here. Just accept, our Luna and mate are outstanding, badass, and stronger than us. We may win in a training session because we have fighting and training experience. But don’t forget SHE killed ten rouges by herself.’ Blade told his stubborn human counterpart.

Matt entered the bathroom where the water was running. Abby stood there in all her glory, looking delicious as ever.

“Baby, I am sorry for my comment before. May I please join the bath, please?” Matt begged his mate. If she needed him to beg, then to hell with his pride. No one could ever make an alpha admit defeat, beg or anything regarding his pride; no one but his Luna. An alpha’s Luna was his sense of sanity, his compassion and his compass. She could make an alpha do anything for her, and she knew. It was a power only she possessed.

Abby opened her eyes. Galaxy was purring in her head, longing for her mate to join them. He had apologized, and he looked so sad standing there all alone.

“Okay, please join me, my alpha.” Abby answers and moved a bit to the side. Matt didn’t need to be told twice and disregarded his cloth at once.

The shower turned hot and steamy, and before Abby knew what happened, she is pressed up against the shower wall. Abby could feel the heat rise inside of her, and as the moment became more heated, Matt pulled away. “I, I.. If we don’t stop now, I don’t know how much longer I can control myself or Blade.” His cheeks heated from the moment, and his breath coming out sharply.

Abby looks at him through her lashes; “Then don’t. Don’t hold back, don’t try to control anything. I want you, and I want this.” Matt open his mouth, close it and then take Abby in his arms.

“Are you sure, little Luna?” Abby nods her head. She is so, so sure. She wants. No, she needs this! She needs to be completely Matt’s. She needs to mark him as hers, and make sure every female knows who he belongs to!

Matt turns off the water, carries Abby into the bedroom and lays her on the bed.

“Matt, I’m all wet.” She giggled. “Just how I like it.” Matt answers with hooded eyes and licks his lips. He k****s her body, making his way down to her flower. Giving her the attention she deserves, making sure she is ready and taken care of. Abby arch her back, throwing her head back as Matt reaches her most sacred area. She feels him take her in, and the small m***s escape her mouth before she knows it. Matt drives her to the peak and then watches as she falls apart in pure bliss. Her body shaking and spasm from his ministrations.

Matt moves up, kissing his way up to her luscious lips again. He takes them in and asks for entrance with his tongue. Abby obliges happily.

“Are you sure, my love? We can wait, if you…” Abby interrupts him, grabbing his length. She places him at her flower and locks eyes with him.

“I am so sure! I want to be fully yours, mated and marked! Please make love to me, Matt. Make me yours!” Matt g****s at the contact with her entrance. He pushes in a little.

“This is going to hurt, sweetheart, but keep your eyes on me. It will pass, and then start to feel good.” Abby smiles, showing she understands.

Matt moves in, in one swift movement. Breaking her hymn and connecting their bond forever. He kissed the tears away and watch as his beautiful woman slowly relaxes. As soon as the pain subsides, Abby moves her h**s a bit. M***s and g****s fill the room, and the two of them are in a bubble of bliss, love and just the two of them.

‘We need to mark them! We need to mark them NOW!’ Galaxy howls, and Abby could see that Blade was making his presence known as well. They locked eyes, moved to each other’s necks, elongated their fangs and mark each other at the same time.

Everything explodes in the two of them. Euphoria flows between them, as they both scream and g***n down into the other’s neck. As they both calm down, they pull in their fangs out and lick the neck of their mate. A new power flow through them, and Abby watches as a purple color makes itself present in Matt’s eyes. She gasp and Matt looks at her concernedly.

(Abby’s P.O.V)

“Baby, what’s wrong?” Matt asks me. I was too taken aback by the sight before me. His eyes were something else already, but now. I shake my head. “I’m sorry, but your eyes. They have purple in them now.” Matt quirks an eyebrow.

“What are you talking about? My eyes don’t have purple. You do, but..”

“Matt, look in the mirror?! Your eyes have purple in them now!” I say, a little annoyed. Matt stands up and walks to the mirror. He looks and then spins around. “How the heck did I get purple in my eyes suddenly?” Matt yells. I recoil a bit, feeling his frustrations. He hurries to me and takes me in his arms.

“I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t mean to yell at you. But I am very confused right now.” I was about to answer when there is a knock on the door.

“Abby, are you alright? What happened?” I heard Willow’s small voice. Matt and I look at each other. How did she know something happened?

“I can hear your thoughts… Besides, an enormous wave of powerful magic, only belonging to a royal, just flowed through the entire house.” Willow explains. “I’m okay, Willow. Thank you though. We are just a bit confused, but go back down and we will be there in a minute.” We hear her walk back down and got dressed. What had happened? Why was Matt’s eye swirling with my magic color? It was strange.

Galaxy was no help at all. After we completed the deed, she has been in a state of silent bliss. Smiling a stupid wolf smile, panting and rolling like a pup. I roll my eye internally at her.

As we descend the stairs, the omegas we met bowed down to the both of us. I was not yet the official Luna, but I feel something different inside of me. Something strong and ever present. As we enter the kitchen, everyone in there, including Kaiden, Greyson, Ornata and my sisters, bows down to us. Huh?

“Uhm, what are you doing?” I ask, bewildered. They all look up and then stand straight.

“I can’t believe my eyes.. I never thought this would happen in my lifetime. And my son- and daughter-in-law.” Ornata says with awe.

“Will someone please explain what is going on, and why the heck did you all bow just now?” Matt asks, annoyed. Both of us want people to treat us normally. “Maybe I can be of service here, my children?” A familiar female voice asked behind us.

We both spin around to see Selene stand in our kitchen. Every one has gone silent. Matt raises an eyebrow.

“And who might you be?” He asks, trying to be polite when he was more irritated by this breach of security. “I, my child, am the moon goddess. I have had the pleasure of speaking with your mate before, as I send her mother to her when she needed it.” Selene smiles, but Matt didn’t look amused. “And what do you have to tell us?” He asks, always right to the point.

Selene sighs. “The reason everyone bowed down just now is that you and your lovely mate here are the King and Queen of werewolves. Just like you are the King and Queen of witches and warlocks/wizards, whatever they call themselves, now a day.” My mouth drop.

“I’m sorry, Great Mother…”

“Now, now, it’s just Selene, my child.” The goddess interrupts me.

“Eh. Selene. I’m sorry, but I thought you just called us the King and Queen of the werewolf and magic species? I must have heard you wrong.” She smiles, but shakes her head.

“No, you heard me all correctly, Abby. You are the royals of two species, and you need to unite them before its to late.”

She looks around. “You’ve got some good people here, and you will need their support. Something is coming, and fast. The need of the star wolves has risen once again, and you need to gather them under you. The only way to do that was to make sure your mate is as strong as you. That is why we transferred some of your magic into Matt when he was marked.” Galaxy pressed herself forward at the presence of the goddess.

‘Are you saying that the star wolves are coming to earth again, Mother?’ She asks. Selene nods.

“Yes Galaxy. Polaris is already here. I gave her to the mate of alpha Benjamin of White Mountain. She was a pure vampire princess, but when she was marked, she turned to a hybrid. She is powerful and as sassy as ever.” The glint in Selene’s eyes was one of amusement and worry. “I will probably explain later everything. I’m sorry, I need to go now.” Then she vanished.

We all look at each other.

“OMG! I just met a goddess, HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!” Willow scream. She bounces on the spot, and can’t contain her happiness. Jax and Ellie look more worried, but also to be in awe of the situation. Ellie catches my eye.

“Your Highness, I will protect you and your family with my life. This I swear on my honor!” She says, tears in her eyes.

Matt k****s my temple, seemingly proud of something.

“Ellie, that is unnecessary! We are all family here, and that includes you, Willow, and grumpy Jax over there.” I smiled as I point to the sulking feline.

I go over to Ellie and gave her a big hug! She hugs me back.

“Now, you and I need to talk, in private.” I eye Matt, and he stiffens. I know he wasn’t keen on this.

“And you, Mr. alpha, need to practice your magic! I will talk with Ellie, while Willow and Jax will help you. I am nearby, just under the shade, if you need me. And we need to get Winter here.” Matt, relax a bit at this. “Okay, my Luna. Kaiden, you will take three pack members and go help get Winter. And you need to get the cloth the girls and Jax have left there.” Kaiden nods.

“I will go with you.” Jax says. “You are in expert hands with the little firecracker here, and besides, I trust you with her safety.” Jax says, looking me directly in the eyes. Suddenly, realisation hit me. She is his mate. Damn, that was early, but who am I to judge?

“We’ll protect her with our lives. You have my word.” I say, while giving him a knowing look. Jax nods once before getting up.

Everyone heads out. Ellie and I walked to the tree-line of the training ground, with Ornata hot on our heels. “If you think I am letting a chance go of watching my son train magic and getting to know my new children, you are very much mistaken.” I could hear Greyson laugh behind us. He would not miss this either. Ellie seemed nervous, but I kept her close. Showing the pack members she is a friend.

Willow just run in between pack members, and asked Matt a million questions a minute. He is quiet taken with the little ball of energy and happiness. I smile at my family. This is a perfect moment.
