Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3172 The Death of Ginny Kroon

Matthew quickly took hold of Sasha's wrist, carefully checking her pulse. It was smooth, strong, and rhythmic-signs of pregnancy.

"Haha! Sasha, we're going to have a baby!" he shouted excitedly, pulling Sasha into a joyful embrace, his happiness making him look like a fool.

Helen, who had been nearby, who had been standing nearby, was initially shocked to hear that Sasha was pregnant. She quickly moved to Sasha's side, questioning Matthew. "Matthew, is Sasha really pregnant?" "Yes, she's definitely pregnant."

A flash of regret crossed Helen's eyes, too subtle to be easily noticed. With Sasha pregnant, even if she took her back home, she wouldn't be as warmly received as before. Clearing her throat, Helen spoke seriously to Matthew. "Matthew, since Sasha is newly pregnant, she can't handle any travel right now, so I won't take her back with me. However, I'm going to put you on probation. If your behavior doesn't meet my standards during this period, I'll take Sasha back with me."

Matthew nodded. "Understood, Mom. I'll keep that in mind."

After calming Helen down, Matthew headed to the Martial League.

"Good day, Mr. Larson."

"Greetings, Mr. Larson."

As he walked, everyone who saw Matthew lowered their heads in respect, and he smiled and nodded in return.

"Mr. Larson, you're here."

"Yes."

When Matthew entered the hall, he saw a few disciples from Basha's Sacred Mount sitting around... ogling women. He quietly walked over to them and whispered, "Enjoying the view?" "Of course! Look at those black stockings, those high heels, and Mr. Larson!"

The three disciples instinctively replied, but when they realized something was off, they turned around. Matthew's smiling face was right in front of them. Startled, they fell back onto the floor. "Come on, take me to see the body."

Even under the Martial League's management, there were quite a few gang-related incidents, but those that required Matthew's attention were usually cases of foul play.

"Name: Ginny Kroon, female, 23

years old, weighing 140 pounds. She was a socialite, found this morning at 7:53 am., stuffed in a burlap sack. When we arrived and conducted the autopsy, it was determined that she had been dead for over eight hours."

Matthew nodded and followed the three disciples to the entrance of the morgue. As soon as the door opened, a cold draft rose from the floor, sending a chill up his spine. The morgue was lined with cabinet-like walls, each housing a body. The lead disciple from Basha's Sacred Mount walked skillfully to one of the cabinets, checked the name written on it, confirmed it was Ginny Kroon, and then pulled it open.

Inside the cabinet was a corpse covered by a white sheet. The disciple pulled the sheet back, revealing the body's features.

It's her! Matthew's eyes narrowed.

Although the body had been soaked in the lake water, making it pale and swollen, the features were still somewhat recognizable. It was the same woman who had been with that confident man-Morley, or something like that-the evening before. Matthew remembered the two had seemingly fallen out and went their separate ways. Recalling Morley's sinister expression, an answer began to form in Matthew's

mind.

"This is a homicide. Investigate the Morley Family of Hulwin and all their connections. If necessary, use any means to get the information."

Matthew knew all too well how

these spoiled heirs operated. In fact, there were few in all of Cathay who hadn't had a run-in with him. These young scions were all the

same-reckless and indulgent,

relying on their family's wealthnet

and

power to live in debauchery Of course, the true great families were strict in raising their heirs, while those left to their own devices were usually kept in check to avoid

challenging the real successors.

"Yes, Mr. Larson."
