Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3241 The Crown Prince's Relentless Pursuit

Garrett, who had been utterly dejected, was startled by the lookout's sudden shout.

He quickly ran to the side of the deck and grabbed the binoculars to survey the sea.

A massive white warship, weighing at least 9,000 tons, was closing in fast, flanked by numerous smaller vessels.

Thud!

The binoculars dropped to the floor as he stared at the white warship, murmuring to himself, "It's... It's the Stormbringer."

The Stormbringer had been captured by Matthew during Toby's attempt to raid the rear of Basha's Sacred Mount, and that had happened long before King Gawain I was betrayed and killed by Iris. Now, this warship was charging toward him in full force.

It appeared that Gadel had sent Matthew to kill him.

Garrett managed a bitter smile.

My dear brother Gadel, you are indeed "kind-hearted".

To avoid shouldering the blame for killing your own brother, you even brought in an outsider to deal with me!

"Blade, direct all fire at Stormbringer and slow them down as much as possible. Get rid of all the heavy cargo on board!"

Garrett glanced at the scarred man beside him, his voice unexpectedly calm.

He had worried that Matthew and Gadel were setting up another intricate ambush. However, after seeing the fleet in pursuit, a strange sense of ease washed over him.

After all, a visible enemy was always less threatening than one lurking in the shadows.

As the crew tossed the excess cargo overboard, keeping only enough food for one meal, the ship instantly felt lighter.

Garrett's ship swiftly overtook the surrounding escort ships, but he didn't order them to discard their cargo.

These escort ships were his last resort when confronting Matthew's fleet.

When facing a predator, you don't need to be faster than it. You only need to be faster than the ones around you.

Atop the Stormbringer, the crown

prince savagely bit into the honey roasted seagull in his hand. His eyes were fixed on Garrett's distant fleet, leaving one to wonder who he really wanted to punish with that bite.

"Caspian, what happened to the d*mn main cannon on the Stormbringer?"

Caspian's expression turned grim as he looked at the crown prince, almost wishing he could slap him.

"We are currently too far from the enemy. The cannons of our main ship can't reach them," Caspian explained objectively.

However, the crown prince did not

heed his explanation and continued to ignore the reality of the situation. He pointed at the incoming shells and shouted, "Why can they hit us, then?"

The shell struck the water with a powerful blast, causing waves to surge and drench both of them.

"They're fleeing ahead of us, and firing now would only disrupt us. Are you trying to help them escape faster?" Caspian shouted at the crown prince while keeping his gaze locked on the fleet in front.

When he finally adjusted the cannon to the ideal position, he narrowed his eyes as he bellowed into the radio, "Main cannon, 65 degrees to the

32 degrees up, load the latest or-piercing rounds, fire C

Caspian quickly covered both his and the crown prince's ears while opening his mouth.

A deafening buzzing noise filled the air as a missile with a blazing tail flew straight toward the largest battleship in Garrett's fleet.

Within moments, flames erupted on the battleship, engulfing its stern in a fierce blaze.

Aboard a medium-sized frigate not far from the said warship, Garrett let out a sigh of relief.

He had anticipated that the enemy would focus their attack on the largest ship, so he had secretly moved to the frigate with Blade.

"Blade, how far are we from the Dornia Sea?" Gadel asked, his eyes gleaming with anticipation as he looked ahead.

Once he reached Dornia, he would no longer need to fear for his safety. Thus, he could amass the strength to make a future comeback. After all, revenge was a dish best served cold. He wouldn't forget today's vengeance.
