"Your Highness, we are fifteen nautical miles away from Dornia Sea," Blade reported to Garrett while checking the navigation device.

"Inform all ships to launch an attack on the fleet behind us immediately to buy us some time," Garrett commanded, his tone growing more anxious as the Stormbringer drew closer.

"Yes..." Blade hesitated before nodding, accepting the order. Though he was deeply reluctant to sacrifice the men on the surrounding ships-his trusted allies and closest comrades-he couldn't defy Garrett's command and had no choice but to carry it out. "Attention all ships! Fire at will toward the rear as you retreat!"

Despite this, their attacks were intercepted mid-air by the opposing frigates' shells, preventing them from reaching the Stormbringer.

Meanwhile, the Stormbringer wasn't in a hurry to return fire. It waited until there were no shells to intercept its attack.

With a furious strike, it hit one of the frigates at the rear of Garrett's fleet, causing a fire to spread rapidly.

The shells were armor-piercing incendiary shells filled with flammable materials. Once a fire started, it was almost impossible to control using conventional methods.

The flames gradually spread to the ammunition depot. The crews who came to extinguish the fire watched in horror as the blaze reached the stored shells.

Boom!

Another burst of flames turned the frigate into scrap metal, and all the people on board sank into the water with it.

At the forefront of the fleet, Garrett watched with growing joy as the distance to the Dornia Sea decreased, while checking the navigation device.

Meanwhile, the frigates behind him were being rapidly destroyed by the fleet led by the crown prince and his allies. Even the frigates accompanying the Stormbringer began attacking his frigates.

One by one, the frigates fell-three,

five, and then ten. In just half an hour, all of his frigates were either destroyed or forced to surrender due to the damage, leaving only the frigate he was on and the main ship near him.

Noticing that the main ship had stopped and hoisted a white flag while the frigate continued to speed forward, the crown prince and Caspian exchanged glances quickly realized that Garrett was not

and

on the main ship but on the frigate.

"Can we still fire now?" the crown prince asked with a grim expression. He had not anticipated being deceived by Garrett.

"He's already gotten away." Caspian shook his head.

After a moment of thought, he picked up the walkie-talkie. "Activate full power and pursue him immediately! Don't worry about the damage!"

The massive Stormbringer roared back to life and surged forward rapidly while a frigate remained behind to guard the main ship.

Toby had installed the

Stormbringer's high horsepower

feature to handle emergencies

where the ship might not be able to catch up with the enemy or escape due to insufficient speed. However, using full power risked overloading the ship's nuclear reactor and steam turbines, which could lead to a short circuit, severe damage, or even a fire.

They hadn't used this option earlier because they were confident they could defeat Garrett before he reached the Dornia Sea. But now, things were different. He was about to enter the Dornia Sea.
