Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3336 You're Lacking Energy

The chief healer's face flushed, clearly rattled.

"Chief healer, don't let him trick you with fancy words!"

"Exactly! Losing once doesn't matter; we're all behind you!"

Encouraged by the crowd's support, the chief healer regained his composure.

With a smug smile, he admitted, "Fine, I lost this time. I won't hold back again in the healing contest and practical challenge." His emphasis on "won't hold back" made it sound like his earlier loss was intentional, a little show to save his dignity. Once again, the crowd erupted in cheers.

"Chief healer, you've got this! You'll crush him!"

"He only won because the chief healer went easy on him! We all know it!"

"Yeah! If you took it seriously, no way that kid could answer right!"

The loud cheers made Matthew frown. He swept an icy gaze over the crowd, and wherever his eyes landed, the piercing chants swiftly died down.

Now seated at opposite tables, Matthew and the chief healer prepared for the next round. The crowd began to settle down and disperse.

"Chief healer, I've been feeling tightness in my chest, and breathing's been tough."

"Chief healer, I keep getting nosebleeds. Could you check my pulse?"

"Chief healer, what do you think...?"

A group gathered eagerly around the chief healer. Meanwhile, only a handful of young men wandered reluctantly toward Matthew's table, clearly unimpressed.

One in particular seemed irritated,

thinking, I wouldn't be here if the

chief heater's side weren't so crowded. This kid's just an arrogant show off pretending he's better than the chief healer. He's so full of himself.

As soon as the young man sat down, Matthew spoke bluntly, "You've got kidney deficiency. Get some rest, and ease up on your indulgences."

The young man's face froze as his friends snickered behind him.

"You didn't even take my pulse! How can you say I've got kidney problems?" he barked, hoping to salvage his dignity. He thought, If I expose him as a fraud, I'll come out on top.

"Tiredness, dark circles under your

eyes, low energy, and you're already sweating after standing for just a bit. If you don't take care of yourself soon, you'll really damage your health, Matthew replied casually, barely looking up from his seat.

In alternative medicine, practitioners rely on four fundamental techniques-observation, listening, inquiry, and pulse checking. So, just one look told Matthew all he needed to know. One of the young man's friends piped up, "Man, no wonder you skip out on our nights out."

Another grinned. "You've been holding out on us-keeping all the girls to yourself!"

His friends burst into teasing laughter, making the young man's face crimson. He shot a glare at Matthew before stomping off, realizing he'd only humiliated himself.

The young man had thought Matthew was just some clueless kid, but now he knew better. Instead of discrediting Matthew, he only made a fool of himself.

Unfazed, Matthew leaned back in his

chair, glancing casually at the

others. "As for the rest of you-first

guy, your body heat's too high.

That's why you're getting

nosebleeds. Drink more cooling tea."

He nodded at the next one. "Your kidney deficiency is milder, but it's there."

At the third, he remarked, "Yours is actually worse than both of theirs."

Each one he pointed out stood frozen in place, too embarrassed to stick around any longer.

The chief healer, watching from nearby, couldn't help but be impressed. He diagnoses each condition with just a glance-something even seasoned practitioners can't do so quickly.
