Chapter Six

Dragus POV

As I watched Aria disappear into the forest my heart felt heavy. Whenher brother grabbed her in the cafeteria I had never felt rage like it, Iwanted to tear his throat out and when she showed me those bruiseson her torso, I had to use every ounce of self-control not to let mydragon Drogon out and rain down the fire on that piece of shit.

Why both Darian and myself feel drawn to her is a mystery to me. andwe haven't done much to acknowledge her in school, but there was thispower around her that drew both of us in, sure we were both attractedto her. I mean who wouldn't be? she’s smart sexy as fuck. I just wish shecould see it all in herself.

I started making my way back through the forest towards the school asI cleared the forest into the field. I saw Darian, Silas Marco and Carloswaiting. As I got closer I could see Darian had a grim look on his face. Iknew he was struggling with what happened in the cafeteria but neitherof us knew why it affected us so much.

"Where is she?" Darian asked. his gaze locking onto me, I walked nextto him and put my hand on his shoulder and shook my head.

"We spoke for a while. I found her in the clearing. She was hurt beforethis happened, he..." I let my words trail off as I saw Darian's eyes startto glow.

"He hurt her, how?" I was torn between telling him because I knew whatwould happen if he let Draco out.

Silas Marco and Carlos stood silently watching our exchange, I took abreath and said:

"She had bruises all down her right side, some looked old, othersnewer, she said he had done worse but that's all she showed me." Itightened my grip on my brother's shoulders as I could feel himshaking with pure rage.

"Why is she having this effect on us?" he asked while looking at mewith his glowing golden eyes. I couldn't tell if I was talking to him orDraco.

"I don't know but we will replace out,” I said as I squeezed his shoulder."Maybe she's your mate," Silas said as he eyed us both

"How can she be both of our mates? You know that's stupid Silas, onemate, to one dragon” Darian said.

The others had no idea why that looked just as confused as we were."Let's go," I said to the others and we started to make our way back tothe school building. As we entered, Aria's best friend Ariel camerunning up to us, her hair wild, her eyes searching around and she wassporting a red mark on her right cheek.

"Have you seen Aria I need to replace her now Colton is looking for her”she rushed out her eyes still scanning around us looking for Aria?

"No we haven't seen her, she ran out of the forest and none of usknows where she went," I said.

As Ariel went to walk around us I heard a low growl from behind me. Iturned to see Silas glowing Silver, he walked up to a shocked lookingAriel and grabbed her arm.

"Who did that to your face?" He snarled. I could see the confusion inAriel's eyes as she looked up at Silas before a look of puredetermination came forward.

"I haven't got time for this, I need to replace Aria now!" Ariel yanked herarm from Silas as she ran out the main doors to the school and downthe path out of sight.

"What the fuck was that about?" Marcos asked Silas. Silas just shruggedand turned away heading towards his locker.

"We need to replace her Dragus and now before that fucker hurts heragain” Darian whispered to me, I nodded my head in agreement andturned down the hall towards where Aria's locker was.

As I got closer I could see her brother Colton throwing her stuff out ofthe locker and into the hall where a group of students had gathered towatch him. As he saw my approaching her snarled at me,

"Where the fuck is that whore?" I stared at him without saying a wordand turned on my heel and left the hall.

I made my way back to my brother and the others. I couldn't controlmy anger and slammed my fist into the nearest locker they all turned tolook at me with puzzled looks on their faces.

Darian cocked an eyebrow and I walked straight past and out the doorsto the school. The fresh air hit me and I took a few deep breaths tocalm myself down. I closed my eyes and spoke to my dragon.

"Drogon are you there?" a silver dragon flashed in my mind andnodded his head silently.

"Why is she affecting us so much?" I asked as he stared at me for a longmoment without saying anything when he finally spoke,

"All in good time young Alpha" he said before he disappeared in asilver fog.

I opened my eyes and looked out in front of me. I knew Drogon knewsomething but wasn't ready to tell me. I wondered what he meant, but Iwasn't left pondering for too long before I felt a hand on my shoulder.I turned to see my brother Silas Marco and Carlos standing on the stepslooking at me with puzzled expressions.

"What happened?” Darian asked. I exhaled a long breath before I toldthem what happened.

"This is getting out of control, do you think her friend will replace her?" heasked me with a sullen look on his face, I shrugged my shoulders inreply. I didn't know anything about either girl to know what wouldhappen. I just hoped her friend found her before her brother did.......
