Katelyn wiped the spittle Aaron had spat on her face away with her handkerchief. She turned to me with a hateful look. "It's all your fault!"

Was she crazy? Obviously. I think she was, I definitely think she was. How was she blaming me for her wicked acts?

"I wish you never came to this school!" She screamed.

"What are you saying, Katelyn? Your evil deeds are on you." I retorted.

"They are not evil." She seethed.

"They are not? Bullying a classmate out of their phone and threatening to kill them if they told anyone is not evil? Framing me for stealing that same phone whereas you sent someone to plant that phone into my bag is not evil? Beating up a poor girl just because she's fighting for the truth is not evil? Giving two boys my location to come rape me is not evil?"

The crowd gasped at the last atrocious act I'd mentioned. The whispers of rape could be heard everywhere.

"Katelyn, face the crowd and tell them you did not stalk my social media page just get old contacts and chat them up. You gave them my brother's number, Lucas. Look at your cousin, the Alpha's Beta, and tell him that you did not tell those boys where I lived. Lucas had given them the school address but you gave them my home address."

Another realization dawned on me. The unknown number. That was not the boys. That was her.

"You used an unknown to text me into meeting those boys. You used the phone incident to threaten me. I just realized Greg and Bryan know nothing about it, they do not attend this school. They were not even pack members. That was you. And you had directed them to that lake, didn't you?"

I was already seethed with rage. One person. A lot of atrocities. Just to pull me down.

"I wished they had succeeded." She spat at me. "You would not be here today because I would have wanted them to rape you until you get pregnant and when the Alpha sees you with a bastard growing in your belly, he would chase you and your mother out of the pack. I am supposed to rule alongside Aaron. Not you!"

What was she talking about? I frowned. Not me? I looked at Aaron who said nothing more. He merely looked away. The rest of the boys, I could not understand the looks...or rather lack of it on their faces? What was going on here? Why was she saying this? What was going on?

Was there something I knew nothing about? I could not trust Katelyn nor actually take her word for anything. She could be developing mental issues.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Don't you pretend, you little bitch." The hit that came with that statement stunned me speechless. She slapped me?

The guards rushed forward but I stopped them, even Lucas who wanted to retaliate. I met his gaze and kissed his cheek which surprised everybody. They had just hit me and I was kissing his cheek like it was no big deal. "It's okay, boyfriend." I assured Lucas.

He smiled at me, then glared at Katelyn who glared back. "Hey. Don't look at my brother like that." I was ready for her.

"Or what?!" She was in my face. This unremorseful evil-hearted soul.

I pushed her back. "I'll only give you this warning once. Stay away from any of the Salvatore boys." A wicked thought came to my head. "Especially Aaron, because I know how desperate you are to have him. But if I see you anywhere near him, woe betide you, Katelyn."

"No, the woe is about to betide you."

I did not see it coming but acting on reflex, I swung out of her way, she thrust forward and almost fell flat. A knife. She wanted to stab me. Anger flared, and in the waves of blinding rage, I rushed forward, pulled the hand cradling the knife backwards. She screamed but I showed no mercy.

I kept pulling at her hand, I did not look back until I heard the bone snap. Her scream echoed in the hall. I shoved her away from me.

"You bitch! You stupid bitch!" She yelled, crying profusely.

I gave her a condescending once-over. "You're as weak as they come. No wonder you use others to carry out your evil deeds." I said nothing more to her. If I remained here, I would kill her. "Baron, any other thing you want to say? Let's leave her. We'll be taking these culprits to the mansion." I told them.

Lucas took over the podium. "We have seen the real culprit. Henceforth, Katherina's name will be spoken with respect and honor. She is not the thief. There was never a thief, just a wicked soul who wants everything for herself and to herself." He glared spitefully at Katelyn as he said it.

"Come and fight me!" Katelyn yelled, I ignored her. "Ask your mother who your father is, but I doubt she can tell you because she's a..."

Rage shook the core of my being, I turned to her with fiery eyes, my fingers toyed with the bracelet, I pulled at it. She was taking over, I could not control her. Not this time. "I dare you, complete it." My voice had thickened, it had become a hard growl.

"What are you doing, wolf-less nonentity?" She thought I was pretending. She was about to regret her words. "Your mother's a whor..."

My bones snapped, and cracked. It was painful. The transformation was painful because it's been years. Years of keeping my wolf - Garia - locked in. The bracelet's lock pin broke and that was the final go.

I lifted myself mid-air and landed on the bitch's body. I paid no attention to the fear and panic in her eyes as I scratched her face. My claws dug into her flesh. The image of Melissa lying there in the hospital because of her. Garia tore her dress, her rage was mine. Her anger was mine. Her pain was mine. Garia dealt her blows, even in Garia's head, I was in a fit of rage.

"You'll kill her, Katherina!" It was Lucas, but I pretended not to hear him.

Garia had taken over and she was going to deal with this bitch. How dare her call my mother a whore? The woman who had suffered to give me this life. I'll kill her. I'll end...

"What is going on here?"

I froze. Mom?
