To say the place was big, was understating it. It was enormous. It could fit the whole school and have comfortable space left. It gleamed gold, white and black. It was a very perfect combination. Simple yet classy.

The guards had dragged Katelyn in. Everyone had trooped in, they wanted to see how this would end. Many were looking at Katelyn in a very strange light. They could not believe she was this sort of person. But until evidence proved anything, no one could openly speak.

"I asked Katelyn one question, twice. Twice she denied." Baron stood on the podium, addressing everyone as though he was a speaker of a very important event.

Maybe he was, though he looked so casual in his shirt, black denim and slip-on.

He took a remote from the podium, I had not noticed there was any remote control until he picked it up. And was there a projector behind him? Yes, there was. My question was answered as soon as he pressed a button.

The Image of Melissa on the hospital bed filled the screen. "You would not know her because she's not a student of this school. Except for the Salvatore family, she's Katherina's personal maid. But I'm sure Katelyn knows her, true or false?" The guards had left her.

"No." Her hands were folded, the defiance was still coating her expression. She must be one hell of a woman to still deny not knowing this girl. And the fact that she was denying it annoyed me the most.

"Now, I'll come back to this picture." A second slide replaced Melissa's, it revealed the picture of two people. Wait, I know those faces. That was one of Katherina's friends and the owner of the phone that had gotten stolen. What were they exchanging?

"Before I move on to the next slide, Katelyn, do you know these people?"

"Yes. One of us my friend and the other is a colleague in school." She replied confidently.

What nerve! The truth was about unfolding and she was still behaving this nonchalant. I did not think she had a heart, not at all.

"Good. The next slide." The next slide came on. It was a video. It was a video of Katelyn's friend and owner of the phone conversing;

"Give me your phone." Katherina's friend and minion demanded.

"Why?" The girl owned the phone asked.

"Katelyn needs it for something."

"What would she need my phone for?"

"You know Katelyn, ask more questions and you're dead. Now give me the phone."

The scene changed, it was one of me running into the class to drop my bag. I remember this day. Katelyn had been walking with me to the Salvatore cafeteria, she had advised me to drop my bag in the class. She had told me it was safe and I had to go drop it my bag in the class.

The video just showed me going to the class, dropping the bag, taking my phone and leaving the class. Immediately, Katelyn's friend came in and put the phone in my bag.

That was when the crowd gasped. Even the lecturers could not believe what they were seeing. This was the truth that had almost had Melissa killed. Fifty-fifty chance of survival. Which meant she could die. This bitch had caused too much harm. She had wrecked too much havoc.

Katelyn's two friends were shivering. They both ran forward and began talking at once.

"Enough both of you!" Aaron commanded. "You, start first." He pointed the one who had done the deed.

"Your Highness, it was not my fault. It was all Katelyn, she had ordered me to do it. She said she would distract Katherina..."

"Hey. It's Her Highness to you." Lucas shunned her.

Sniffling and wiping tears, she nodded in agreement. "Okay, Her Highness. She said she wanted to distract Kather.... Her Highness and asked me to take the girl's phone. I bullied her and took the phone, we threatened to kill her if she told anyone."

The owner of the phone was shivering and crying. Do I feel mercy for her? Or do I deal with her accordingly? She had watched me cry, knowing I had not taken the phone. She had done her worst to me knowing I did nothing to her. She had been under pressure, but what about my reputation that she had collectively damaged?

Should I forgive her? She met my gaze and rubbed her palms together in a pleading gesture. Tears were dropping down her eyes.

"Where's the owner of the phone?" Aaron asked, he was seeing red at the moment.

The girl sluggishly moved forward. "Your Highness, I'm s-s-sorry." She sobbed, her words breaking.

"You're sorry?! Will sorry solve anything?!" He stepped forward menacingly towards the girl. The girl trembled, walking backwards.

"I'm s-s-sorry, Your Highness." She wanted to run but a student pushed her back.

"On your knees!" Aaron commanded.

It had been me the day that incident had happened. Aaron had insulted and embarrassed me, he had not believed me. But the truth was out. It was out and there was nothing to hide anymore. "I did not do anything, let me go." Katelyn spoke up.

"You! After I defended you at the cost of losing her." Aaron pointed at me. The cost of losing me? What did he mean by that? That statement had sounded so intimate.

"I did it for you, Aaron." She screamed. Then she went calm as tears filled her eyes. "It's because I love you, Aaron. Let's forget about all of this and just be together. I will love you for eternity."

Aaron looked disgusted. He spat on her face... literally. "You mean nothing to me. I accepted you as my friend because none of my brothers would. You think I do not know how much Baron hates you, even Trenton or Zach, even Lucas. But I stood for you. I decided to give you a chance at friendship and this..." He sneered. "This is what you do. You made me insult her, because of you I was miserable."

"No, no, no. I was just doing this so you can love me."

"Well, news flash Katelyn, it has only made me hate you."
