Mated To The Twin Alpha Heirs -
Fated Mates!
AARON
I could not believe everything that had just happened from last night to this moment in time. Those boys that had tried to rape her, courtesy of that stupid Katelyn.
How could I have been so stupid to allow myself remain friends with that girl? I knew she had some dislikeable characters but the fact that we had all grown up together and she seemed quite nice to me, ready to please me, I had not really taken time to think she would be this despicably evil
How could she attempt all those atrocities and be successful in them? Did she have people working for her? I could say she had people working for her, seeing how much Melissa had been wounded.
I had never known Katelyn to be this wicked and mean, she was something else. Showing a part of her I'd never seen before. I could not even believe I had allowed that girl close to me enough for our bodies to touch.
I had even insulted Katherina because of her, defended her when I should be defending Katherina who was my mate. It still surprised me how I had never actually realized it until that certain day I'd seen her been lifted by Baron. The surge of jealousy that had overwhelmed me was shocking, I was tempted to fight Baron over her and my wolf had pranced at though something was essentially the matter with him. And then the kiss by the stairs, I was ready to unleash my wolf on him.
I had never called her mate but my wolf had said mate in my head a thousand times, I was just restraining myself thinking I was actually going to make a fool of myself.
But here I was, holding hands with her. I was quite surprised when she had called me mate. Though I already knew we were mates, I had nor expected her to say it. But that had confirmed whatever it was I wanted to know.
And the kiss? That had been different from the one I'd given her in her bathroom last night. This was arousing, bonding and tempted me to take her there in her car. When my thumb had brushed over a nipple, every part of my had immediately responded.
My wolf had growled lustfully in my head. He had even been cajoling me to mate with her in the car, that was when I broke off the kiss. I would not want to do that with the guards around the compound.
And even when I had escorted to her room, the temptation had come but for some reason, I had also found a reason to not do it. Was I nervous? I could not tell. But I really wanted her and even seating close to her here, her firm peaked mounds vaguely showing through the shirt she was wearing was a telltale she was not wearing a bra.
And her legs, I cleared my throat and quickly looked away before I embarrassed myself looking at those finely shaped legs. Now, I could see why Zach called her 'hot legs'. And given the gravity of the situation, I was supposed to be thinking of anything but what I was currently thinking.
Mom's eyes roamed over everyone of us, except Katherina. "Now, who is willing to go first? And this person should be telling me the truth, I've had enough of your mischiefs." The warning was loud and clear.
I wished she would forgive Katherina. Though I could not believe Katherina would hide such a big thing from her mother.
"Can I say something, mom?" Lucas started.
"Alright, go on." Mom encouraged.
"Uhmm. First off, about Katherina..." He went mute instantly. She did not want to talk about Katherina, but no matter what, Katherina was her daughter. Her flesh and blood.
Katherina squeezed my hand tight, I turned to see her head bowed as tears flowed. Pity for her swamped me. I knew she did not want anyone to see her crying, I would pretend that also and not draw attention to her, but I squeezed right back to assure her I was there for her.
Baron's gaze fell on our linked hands but said nothing. There was no expression on his face whatsoever, he was unusually quiet. For the first time in forever, I wanted to know what was going on with him.
"Do you want to talk or keep shut, Luke?" Mom raised a disapproving brow. She petted him more than the rest of us and we all understood it was because he was the last child. "Mom, I..."
"Next person." Mom ignored him.
Everywhere was silent. Dad was just watching us, I also could not tell what he was thinking but something also told me he was disappointed with all of us.
"So nobody wants to speak?" She looked at us.
"Nothing serious happened, step mom." It was Baron that spoke up. "Everything that happened was us trying to protect Katherina. Katelyn was bullying her. She has been bullying her for sometime now. Those times she lied she had a sprained ankle or was sick, we were all aware and understood why. Especially after the phone incident, she was ashamed and humiliated before the whole school. In her class, the bullying and insults got worse."
He paused to look at everyone one of us. "Katherina could not stand up for herself. It was literally her against the school, we were protecting her the best way we would, and she was also protecting herself too. You know your daughter and how naturally quiet and calm she is, she would have probably been dead meat if she had not done some school skipping."
"Yes mom." Zach affirmed what Baron had said. "Sometimes, we had to skip class with her and take her to the cafeteria to cheer her up because she's sad and have been bullied. It's not her fault, mom."
She listened to what the boys were saying without a change in her facial expression. Not even the slightest shift. She remained stoic and unsmiling.
"Since there will be no more secrets, I want to get this out of the way." I finally opened my mouth.
All eyes settled on me expectantly.
"Katherina and I are fated mates."
