“Arraaa… ” He screamed when he saw her in the tub. No, she wasn’t taking a bath but was trying to kill herself. What did Theodore do now?

After a couple of months, she did almost the same thing, and that was when he realized that she was in mourning over her rejection, which had now lasted one year. Now, this. He really wanted to replace Theodore and punch him right across the face.

He pulled her out of the tub and glared at her, but it wasn’t of any use because it looked like she wasn’t in her senses.

“Why in the hell did you do that?” He growled at her, feeling her pulse. She was still alive.

Never did he feel this scared before. Hell, he was so scared that he forgot to pump her chest for a while in tension.

Soon, he started pumping to get rid of the extra water in her lungs.

“Come on, Ara!” You can’t die this soon.” He growled at her loudly, and in the next second, she opened her eyes. She started coughing and choking, bringing up the water. She rolled her body before coughing again.

Not once did Wylder help her by rubbing her back or supporting her body, even though he saw that she was trembling and shaking because of the effect of alcohol.

“Wild… ” She looked at him with her red eyes, which he wasn’t sure was the effect of crying or alcohol. “Why did you take me out?”

That was it.

Wylder loses control of his anger and does something that he has never thought to do in his life.

He slapped her so hard that she fell unconscious while her face banged on the floor.

‘Night’ Wylder scolded him, but he shut him down, hiding somewhere in his mind. ‘Damn!!’ He hissed, picking Tiara up in her arms, and cursing at his anger issue.

*

Tiara hissed when her left cheek hurt. Not just that her head hurt as if she had hit her head somewhere very hard.

“Ahh,” she cried when she touched her cheek with her fingertips. She looked for something where she could see her face, and the first thing that she did was run toward the dressing table and gasp loudly while watching a big black and blue mark on her cheek and her head.

Never, ever did her parents hit her, and it looked like someone slapped her. At the same time, the door of the room opened, and Wylder walked in with a tray in his hand.

“Wild, see what happened to my face?” She complained, pointing toward her cheek and then her forehead. “God, it will take months to heal. I have a back-to-back shoot for a couple of brands.” She added, and tears pooled in her eyes, and that was when she found herself in Wylder’s t-shirt. She tried to recall how she landed in the situation. The last thing that she remembered was…

“I did that.” Wylder hissed, glaring at her. “And don’t act as if you care about your career or face because what you did today revealed that you’re an idiot.”

Tiara looked at him in confusion. She was not able to understand why he was so mad at her or why he would hit her. Hell, it was hard for her to digest that part in which he had raised his hand at her.

Was he drunk?

“What did I do? Why are you angry at me?” Tiara asked in a low tone.

“Seriously? Were you that drunk that you don’t even remember that you tried to kill yourself by drowning in the bathtub?” He growled at her, slamming the tray on the desk near the bed and scaring Tiara a little. She knew that his anger wasn’t a good thing.

‘I was trying to kill myself.” She wondered because all she remembered was taking a bath in it.

“And when you asked me why I took you out, I just lost it.” He added another growl.

‘Maybe because I was thinking that I was taking a bath. Hell, why will I think of killing myself?’ Tiara wanted to tell him the truth, but she didn’t try to commit suicide. She wasn’t a fool who would kill herself for some man, leaving her family behind to mourn over her death all their lives.

Her mother could sleep properly after knowing that she was sick. Then she couldn’t imagine the pain her mother would feel at hearing the news of her death. She might die of shock.

Wylder kept scolding her, but she stayed silent, listening to all his words, but she knew the moment she would tell him the truth of her end, he would start regretting his action. The guilty party, had he raised his hand on her, would start eating him up. At the same time, she believed that she deserved a scolding for being so careless.

So she just kept quiet. She didn’t want her wolf to sense his care and concern for her.

“Now you have nothing to say?” I can’t smell that you’re even ashamed of all this.” He said it in a disappointed tone. “I can’t even recognize that you are the same Ara whom I knew because she was strong, but you’re pathetic and weak.” He added, reaching near her and grabbing her wrist to bring her near the bed to make her sit on the bed, and then sat in front of her.

Tiara hissed when Wylder kept an icepack on her cheek. “If you’re thinking that I will apologize, then that is not going to happen.”

She smiled meekly at his anger. It was cute. She looked into his stormy grey eyes, which were hiding his concern with his anger.

“Ah.” She whimpered in pain.

Three.

Two.

One.

“I’m sorry!” Wylder apologized. “I didn’t want to hurt you.” It.. it just happened.”

“It’s okay. I deserve this.” Tiara responded and clutched his shirt in pain. He kept looking into his eyes, thinking about Theodore.
