“What?” He questioned her.

“Nothing.” She shook her head, even though she was wondering who could be that girl who had ruined him for every other female.

“Good morning, Alpha.” Breda greeted him and then teased him a little: “I guess you woke up late today?”

“Your mind is always in the gutter, isn’t it?” Wylder inquired and wondered how the Moon Goddess matched her with Zahir. She was pure evil compared to Zahir. Breda giggled at his words. ‘Take care of her and make sure that no one will make her uncomfortable.’

‘Don’t worry, brother!” With that, he left from there without looking at Arabella, who was practically digging holes at both Breda and Wylder’s heads in anger.

She couldn’t replace the reason behind her anger. She wanted to ruin Breda’s face like a wild cat when she giggled. Again, she felt that she had something like this before that she couldn’t remember. Arabella knew what she was feeling.

Jealously.

But why? That too over a man whom she didn’t know. ‘Is he my mate?’ She questioned herself for feeling so many emotions for Wylder; that was unusual unless…

“Come on!! You will be training under me.” Breda spoke, and Arabella narrowed her eyes.

“Who are you?” she asked.

“I’m sorry. Where is my manner?” Breda chuckled, sensing her jealousy and anger.

“Maybe in the gutter?” Arabella spoke with a fake smile on her lips.

“No need to be rude, sweetheart. Alpha Miller is like my brother. Arabella controlled herself from rolling her eyes and scoffing at her words.

‘Of course! She would say that. All the females in the pack consider him like his brother.”

“I’m Breda, Beta Female.” Bread introduced herself, and hearing this, Arabella’s insecurities and jealousy flew out of the window. “Ah. I see, you are normal now.” She added, smiling at Arabella.

“I’m sorry. I guess I was rude.” Arabella muttered and extended her hand for a handshake. “I’m Arabella. Alpha Miller’s Breeder

“Hello, Bella,” Bread said, shaking her hand. “It’s okay. Don’t be sorry. You’re not the only one who acted like this. All the admirers of Alpha act with me in the same way until they come to know that I’m mated.”

“So, you have no issue with becoming a breeder?” She asked next, to which Arabella shook her head.

“No. It’s better than becoming a s*x slave.”

“Yeah! But aren’t you scared that you might die because of your decision? I mean, without your wolf, giving birth to a Lycan’s pup is risky.”

“Even better. At least, I will die happy with the thought that I sacrificed my life for giving life to a newborn.” Arabella spoke because, from where she was standing, she couldn’t see any ray of hope, and she knew the future heir of this Alpha would give meaning to her life.

“Well, I hope that will never happen,” Breda said that from what she learned from Zahir, she knew that Wylder had a thing for this omega, and the last thing she wanted was for Wylder to stick around in his life. Zahir didn’t tell her the details because, as per him, it was their thing, and she respected that. “Come on, let’s start your training to see your strength. Because only stronger women can handle a werewolf’s pup.”

Breda guided her away from the training ground because she knew where Arabella stood in terms of strength.

“Is there a job opening in the pack?” I wanted to work instead of eating food for free. Arabella asked, recalling that she had to buy a phone.

“I see!! What kind of work are you looking for?”

“For now, I don’t know which thing I’m good at,” Arabella answered her truthfully.

“Okay then!! After breakfast, we will replace that part.” Breda spoke before adding, “Come on now, throw me a punch, and show me what you’ve got.”

Arabella nodded her head and did the same as what Breda wanted. Breda kept dodging her attack and didn’t hit her back considering her as a human or a werewolf without a wolf. It would take days to recover from the pain.

“Is this what you got?” Breda teased. “Hell, even fifteen-year-olds throw punches harder than this.” She added. She kept insulting Arabella by calling her weak, useless, and ugly to trigger her emotions, but nothing worked. She thought to make her jealous, but then she had already told Arabella that Wylder was like his brother.

She didn’t want to comment on any nonsense about her relationship with Wylder just to make her jealous.

“How did the training go?” Wylder asked Breda, taking an update from Arabella after she got some free time to talk with him. Because after training, she got busy with the omegas that were rescued from the auction to get as much information as she could. This work was assigned to her.

“I thought you would ask me about those female omegas.” Breda pointed it out but didn’t dare mess with him at this moment because it was related to the woman for whom he had some sort of thing. “I’m not sure, Alpha, nor do I have proof, but I think she is not an Omega. Her willpower is strong. She fell on the ground multiple times when I pushed her while dodging the attack, but every time she ended up standing on her feet to fight. She even completed all her exercises without complaining or whining.”

“Also, I talk about her with the Omegas we rescue. You won’t believe what I learned there. She had been treated badly compared to other omegas. Not just that, Bella already had an owner. Unlike other omegas who were sold by their father, mate, and brother, Bella was sent there by her owner, and she was tortured badly, and then…

“Then?” Wylder asked, gritting his teeth. He couldn’t be surprised if his teeth ended up breaking.

“Then there was a witch who used to heal Bella so that she would get ready to get tortured again,” Breda said, controlling her anger. “It’s clear that witches are included in this trafficking, and the way Bella was getting treated there, I can bet my mate that someone was taking revenge on her.”

“Tell me that those omegas saw the faces of those bastards because the last thing that I want to do is ask Ara about it,” Wylder asked in a voice that didn’t belong to him. Night had asked her the same thing last night, but she didn’t ask. Maybe she didn’t want to think about those memories.

He, too, wanted the same. He too didn’t want her to think about or recall anything about that hell, but then again, he wanted their names, faces, or anything else that could be helpful.

“Sadly, not everyone’s face,” Breda replied.

“That also means that they remember the faces of a couple of bastards,” Wylder smirked. He had already started planning ways to torture them. “Call the sketch artist the moment they will feel comfortable and get this work done as soon as possible. I don’t have time to waste, Greda.”

“Noted, Alpha.” Greda smiled as Wylder thought about other omegas as well, no matter how desperate he was. Well, not just him; even she wanted to know who could do this to Arabella, or whatever her real name was.

Whoever she was, either she messed with the wrong person who turned her life upside down or someone was taking revenge on her for some reason.

“Something is burning.” She muttered, sniffing around, and walked out of his cabin. Wylder too followed her, sensing the same.

“It’s from the kitchen.” Wylder pointed out and ran toward the kitchen when Arabella’s scent hit him in that direction. “Why in hell can I sense Ara in the kitchen?”

“Oh, that! She wanted to do some work. So, I gave her the work of the sous chef. After all, cooking is something that everyone enjoys…”

“Not everyone!” Wylder growled, cutting her in between. The woman he knew didn’t know how to cook. The moment he reached inside the kitchen, he was shocked to see…
