Night ran furiously without caring whether he was going. How could Tiara agree that she might have painted the same painting twice when the truth is that she never did?

She was right in the beginning, but after confusing her a little, she agreed with him in his lie instead of arguing and fighting with him to prove her point.

He had that painting with him because Sophia gave it to him as a gift on his previous birthday gift after knowing how much he desired it, but Tiara didn’t paint it for him, promising to gift it someday.

Unfortunately, that someday never came.

But how would this fake tiara have any knowledge about it? Because this incident was something that even real Tiara didn’t know; otherwise, she would have pissed at her mother for gifting her the birthday gift, which she had gifted to her after spending around a week of hard work.

‘Whoever she is, she remembered all the data of Tiara’s life like a copycat,’ Wylder concluded.

‘Or maybe she is Tiara’s doppelganger?’ Night suggested.

‘No. That’s not possible because I have both tasted her and f****d her. Everything is the same as it was back then. I could recognize the taste of her saliva, her o****m, her sweat, and her behavior even with closed eyes. You were so pissed that you failed to observe all these things before.’

Night didn’t argue about this because it was true. He was so busy pushing Tiara away, thinking about Arabella, and fighting with his human that he didn’t notice all these things.

‘What do you want to point out, human? That someone has swiped Tiara’s soul or controlled Tiara’s body?’ Night asked even though they kind of figured out that the first option would be their answer. ‘Don’t scold me, but is it possible that Arabella is… Tiara? I mean, her behavior, her words—everything reminds us of Tiara.’

Wylder felt like he would go crazy over the things that were going on in his life. All he had were assumptions and questions, not a single right answer.

‘I don’t know, man.’ He muttered in a defeated tone. He was confused, and his mind was stopping to work. ‘I guess I’m going to take a break from thinking and just observe what is happening around for a couple of days before starting everything from scratch.’

‘If she isn’t Tiara, then isn’t it strange that Aunt Sophia failed to figure that out?’ Night asked, praising her mother’s instincts. Most importantly, Sophia could see ghosts or souls, so replaceing the truth for her wouldn’t have been that difficult.

‘I’m taking a break for a day,’ Wylder repeated again. ‘And tomorrow, we will solve Eliam’s problem by taking him to the coven because that’s the only thing that can be sorted easily.’

‘Okay. Got it. Now that we are taking a break, can we spend some time with Ara? To know more about her?’ Night suggested.

‘If you want to. You can, but don’t dare jump on her in excitement.’

Night quickly turned his direction, running back towards the packhouse to get Arabella. He mind-linked Ms. Amiee to send Arabella to the nearest pack border.

‘It is her first day at work; that old lady shouldn’t drain all of Ara’s energy.’ Night mumbled his action when he realized that there were still a couple of hours left to finish her shift.

‘Really? I had worked more than fifteen hours on my first day of Alpha duty.’ Wylder scoffed, observing how his Lycan was treating Arabella as if she were a glass doll, even though they could sense witches’ magic around her.

While Night was busy running, he silently sat in the backseat of his mind, trying to replace a way through all of this drama.

‘Zahir?’

‘Yes, Alpha’

‘Is Aiden fine now?’ He asked. ‘If yes, then ask him to draw a sketch of Ara and send the scan copy of her to all the packs. We also need to replace out about her identity.’

‘Noted, Alpha.’ Zahir responded.

Wylder sensed Arabella’s scent and the way his Lycan started feeling giddy as if he were taking her on a date.

‘Of course, it’s a date.’ Night growled and found Arabella leaning against the tree with her eyes closed. Her right leg was folded slightly and was on the tree.

[‘Click some of my pictures, please.’ Tiara requested before running towards the tree. They were in the forest for trekking.

‘Some?’ Wylder chuckled. ‘I have clicked more than fifty pictures, Ara.’

‘So, what? Click five hundred more.’ She said, flaunting her hair. Leaning against the tree, she placed one of her legs on the tree with both her hands in her pockets.

Wylder dared not complain about the same pose because he knew he had to jump like a monkey here and there and keep changing the angle of the pictures.

He learned to take photos from Logan Haysbert because Tiara loved posing in front of cameras.]

Sensing a heavy and warm breath around her face, Arabella opened her eyes, only to replace Night’s face damn close to her. And he was in his wolf form, using all four of his paws instead of two. His breath was fanning her face. They kept staring at each other before he started licking her face.

“God, no!!” Arabella whined and giggled, feeling ticklish. She wasn’t in a great mood after learning about Wylder’s marriage and when Ms. Aimee told her that Alpha had asked her to meet near the pack border. She felt she was going to be kicked out of there.

Finally, Night stopped licking her and looked at the woman, who now smelled like him.

‘Eliam, get my phone from my office.’ Wylder’s mind was linked to his Gamma while watching his Lycan play with Arabella.

‘Noted, Alpha.’
