When he entered the office, Jacob frowned when he noticed that his secretary was absent. It's already past eight in the morning but Blair didn't arrive yet. He sighed before getting himself a cup of hot coffee from the pantry. "Mom!" He was startled to see his mot her coming in with Blair. "Grandma said you went somewhere," he said.

"Morning, baby! I just dropped by to say hello. By the way, I'll be using the conference hall for a few hours," Carmela said but her eyes were on Blair.

Jacob's brows snapped together at her mother's statement. "What for?" He asked. "Blair, can you give this to Jenny?"

Blair nodded and accepted the documents from Jacob. Well at least, she wouldn't be able to hear them argued over the bunch of women in the conference room. "Okay," she replied.

"Wait! I have a visitor coming at nine-thirty, can you order some muffins from the coffee shop?"

"You didn't have to send him away," Carmela referred to Jacob's subtle way of sending his secretary away for an errand.

"Mom, what is this all about? Do you think I will never know that you let some girls into the building?"

"Jacob listen! You can't stay like this forever. Do you know that Blair suspected you're gay? He's new in this company but he saw you as someone who's not capable of dating, what about the others?"

"I don't give a damn about their opinion!" Jacob yelled to make his point but his stubborn mother continued to defy his wishes. "Wait, did you talk with my doctor?"

When he went for a consultation last week, his doctor advised him to surround himself with several women to check if he's really into men. When Carmela Gordon looked away, he got his answer and slumped his body into his swivel chair. He was doomed for good!

"Do you want to come with me to the conference room?"

"Hell no!"

"Alright but don't worry because I will choose the best for you," she assured her son who was torn between hurting her feelings and being stubborn.

When his mother left the office, Jacob stood up and paced back and forth. At first, he was against the idea of being with women but it seemed that he wouldn't be able to avoid them forever. As a responsible adult, he shouldn't let his mother micromanaged his life but he didn't want to hurt her feelings. The woman suffered a lot already and he didn't wish to cause her more pain.

He was so caught up with his thoughts that Blair's arrival shocked him. "Don't you know how to knock?" He yelled at the young man who had no idea what's going on inside his head.

"I'm sorry," she apologized but Jacob dismissed her with a single wave of his finger. She had no choice but to return to her desk.

Blair understood why Jacob was cranky and she couldn't blame him. Who wouldn't when his mother made a drastic move to change his old ways? Anyway, it wasn't her business to worry about Jacob Gordon, or maybe she should do her research especially when she took the blank check from Carmela Gordon.

Would it make her a bad person to accept it? No, it would only make her a hypocrite! Carmela Gordon gave her a two weeks transition time before a new secretary would replace her. In the meantime, she must do her job especially when the quarterly meeting was fast approaching.

During the last meeting, Jacob asked the managers to suggest their next meeting venue. Their suggested place should be forwarded to her for sorting, and that's what she's doing when he slammed the door to his office. "What have you been doing that I can't call you on the phone?" He shouted.

Blair immediately checked the telephone and nibbled on her bottom lip when she found out that the receiver was not properly placed. "I'm sorry, sir. I didn't notice right away."

Jacob glared at the man who believed that he was gay. "So you think I'm gay," he said in a low voice and Blair was caught off guard that he knew.

"Yes, and everyone in the building has the same opinion as mine," she replied.

Jacob glanced up the ceiling and for a minute he didn't say anything that he would regret later. Last night, it was Annie, then it's Blair who assumed that he's gay. "Do you also believe that I needed to get laid right away?"

Blair was aghast at Jacob's question. How would she know? She had no prior experience with men and discussing it openly made him uncomfortable. "I'm not in the position to answer it, sir." "Damn you, Blair! It's just a simple question," Jacob hissed under his breath when

"It's not part of my job, sir."

Jacob let out a deep breath and glared at his secretary. "Still, I need your opinion on the matter. So, do you think I need a woman right now?"

"It's up to you, sir. How about Miss Annie? Should I summon her into the office?" She made a bold suggestion but deep within her, she was scared.

Jacob clenched his jaw as he recalled his last conversation with that woman. What did she say? Eight inches or nothing at all? She must be dreaming, he thought. "That dirty little piece of shit? Never mind," he said.

She was hurt at his description of Miss Annie and gritted her teeth. Perhaps, she should teach him a lesson about women! "That's a harsh thing to say for a woman," she reprimanded Jacob.

"Is it?" "Yes," she replied.

"I didn't know that you are very compassionate with women, Blair. Tell me, how does Miss Annie performed in bed? Was she great? If you will recommend her to me, then maybe I will reconsider."

Blair clenched her fist and glared at Jacob for being rude. As his secretary, he should keep his cool and shouldn't be affected by how he insulted the woman. However, Jacob Gordon crossed the line of being a brute. "Why do you despise women a lot? Was the rumor true? Oh, I'm sorry sir, I shouldn't have asked," she said.

Jacob wanted to punch the young man but it would be considered as an abuse of power and strength. Blair may be young but his body structure couldn't match his trained physique. "Why don't you check my mother in the conference room?"

Blair tightened her lip before she followed his order and walked towards the door. When she's out of the office, she took a deep breath to calm her nerves. Earlier, she was on the verge of losing her control and if Jacob didn't ask her to check on Carmela Gordon, she would be tempted to give him a high five...on the face!

The conference room which Mrs. Gordon utilized was adjacent to Jenny's office so she tiptoed at the hallway. Cautiously, she pushed the door open and smiled at Jacob's mother. "Do you need anything, Mrs. Gordon?"

"Blair, you're just in time!" Carmela announced before she dismissed most of the women and only three remained.

She studied the three women who remained in the conference room and her eyes darted back and forth from the women to Mrs. Gordon. All of the women were beautiful in their own way. They all have kohl black hair which plunged on their shoulders, shapely figure, and glossy skin. More or less, they resembled Mrs. Gordon's style in fashion and accessories, and she wondered at the woman's intention.

"Everyone, listen. This is the current secretary of my son and she will train you for two weeks," Carmela announced and grinned at Blair's reaction. "Introduce yourself to him," she said and stood up.

"I don't understand what's going on, Mrs. Gordon." She said when the woman was about to walk towards the door.

"One of them will replace you in two weeks," she replied in a low voice.

"But you didn't accept my resignation letter!"

"Not yet, but in two weeks, you have to leave your current job."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes," Carmela answered before leaving.

Blair took a deep breath before she faced the woman. The excitement was visible in their faces and she wondered what's running on their head. "Since you passed Mrs. Gordon's standard, who am I to make your life harder? Follow me to the office," she said.
