I'm just finishing setting up the private dining room when Stacey pokes her head inside. "Rose, do you think I could talk to you for a minute before everyone gets here?" "Of course, is everything alright? Are Lily and Colton OK?""Oh yes, the pups are fine. Addie and Jayden stole them a little while ago. To your other question, I'm not sure. Emmett has been acting really strange the last few days" she says. "What has he been doing?" "Not that I'm complaining, but he has been us my a**. I mean his Gamma now, so he should be up your a**, not mine." I can't help but to burst out laughing. "It's not funny Rose. I can't even pee in peace. He actually followed me into the bathroom this morning until I threw him out. The only reason I'm here without him right now is because Charlie wanted to talk with him alone. He tried to insist I go with him, but I told him that you needed my help. I love your brother, but something is definitely up with him," she says.

"Did you try talking to him about it?" "What the hell am I supposed to say? Emmett, why are you being so clingy," she says. Before I can say another word, the door to the dining room opens and the man himself steps inside. He is out of breath like he ran here. "I'm sorry I took so long meeting with Charlie. Are you feeling alright," he asks Stacey. "Emmett, its only been twenty minutes and why wouldn't I be alright," she says, sounding irritated.

"Emmett, what's going on? You seem really nervous and worried.""I don't know. My wolf is driving me nuts about needing to keep Stacey safe. I feel like he knows something, and he isn't telling me," Emmett says. Stacey walks over, wrapping her arms around my brother. "Em, I'm fine. I'm not sure why he is so worried, but I promise you nothing bad is going to happen to

me," Stacey says.

"Rose, I think I know why Emmet's wolf is being so overprotective," Zora says. "I can hear a

heartbeat coming from Stacey, other than her own," Zora says. "How can you, when we aren't an Alpha wolf?" Alpha wolves can often hear the extra heartbeat early in pregnancy. "We may not be an Alpha, but we are special. I can't tell you everything yet, but soon. Tell Stacey and Emmett to go to the pack hospital to confirm it, but I'm positive she is with pup," Zora says.

Holy sh*t, we are having pups at the same time. I can't help the smile that spreads across my face. "Why are you smiling like that Rose," Emmett asks. "Zora wants me to tell you that she can hear a heartbeat. Emmett's wolf is being protective because you have my niece or nephew inside your belly." Stacey's eyes get big and Emmett looks like he is about to pass out. He plops down on the nearest chair and I try not to laugh at my brother. 1/3

"How can she hear it? I thought only Alpha wolves could hear a pup's heartbeat in the womb," Stacey asks. "Apparently my wolf is special. She won't tell me what that means yet, but she said you should go to the hospital to confirm it. You guys should go now, and we can all announce it together at dinner."

It takes a minute for what I said to register before Stacey's starts to bounce up and down. "Oh, my goddess, when did you replace out?" "This morning, I wasn't feeling well, and I realized I hadn't had my period since we left the Black Rose. The pack doctor confirmed I'm a month along."I decide to keep the news about them being twins to myself so they can be surprised later with everyone else.

Emmett still hasn't said anything. "Em, are you going to be able to take your mate over to the hospital or do I need to call Beck?" He growls low, finally snapping out of the shock. A huge grin spreads across his face. "I'm going to be a father." He lifts Stacey, and she giggles as they head for the door. A few seconds later the door opens again and Beck steps inside. to know why Emmett is running through the pack house with Stacey in his arms like his a** is

I walk over, wrap my arms around his neck and pull him down for a kiss. When I pull back, he smiles. "It seems we aren't the only ones that will have news to share at dinner tonight.""No way, they're having a pup too," he says. "That's what Zora says. They are heading to the pack hospital to have the doctor confirm it." He goes to open his mouth. I'm sure to ask how Zora

knew when the door opens, interrupting the conversation.

I smile when I see Marco and Samantha walk in hand and hand, followed by my mom and Charlie. Not long after, Addie, Jayden, Lily, and Colton join us. We all take our seats and my

mom looks confused. "Where is Emmett and Stacey" she asks. "They will be here shortly.

They had something they needed to take care of before dinner. My mother eyes me because she knows I'm being deliberately vague, but thankfully she doesn't push the issue.

Our meals are served and we all dig in. I notice that Samantha is smiling, and I wonder if she has made her decision. As if she can read my mind, she starts to speak. "So, I've thought a lot

about whether to stay here until Marco and I can officially claim each other or to go with him

to the Golden Leaf. I was really struggling but after spending some time with mom, Charlie, and Marco, we have come to a decision. We are going to stay in both packs if you and Beckham agree" she says, looking at me.

I'm confused but hopeful at the same time. "What do you mean?" "Marco, is going to set up one of the cottages for mom, dad, and Colton. We will spend two weeks there so I can get to know the pack and still have family with me. Then, if it's alright with you and Beck, Marco will

come and spend two weeks here while Carter watches over the pack. If he is needed, he is

close enough that he can reach the pack quickly. We both agree we don't want to be apart, but I want to spend time with you, Lily, and Beck," she says.

I can feel the tears flowing down my cheeks. I would blame it on the hormones, but this has nothing to do with that. I just found my sister, and I wasn't ready to let her go. "I think that is an amazing idea." Samantha stands coming around the table to hug me. Sam retakes her seat next to Marco, and he leans over pressing a kiss on her forehead. My thoughts go to Susan and I pray she is seeing her daughter happy.

I'm not sure how much time passes when the door opens and my brother steps inside with the biggest smile on his face and his mate protectively under his arm. I stand wanting them to join me and Beck at the head of the table. I see confused faces as Gia wheels in the cake we made earlier. I take Beck's hand and look at Stacey to go first. "We're pregnant" she blurts out, and the room erupts into congratulations. My mother is on the verge of tears as she rounds the table to pull my brother into a hug.

As she wraps her arms around Stacey she smiles at me. "We're pregnant too and it's twins" I say. My mother kisses Stacey's cheek and squeals as she rushes over to me. When she lets me go, Sam pulls me in for a hug. "I promise I will be here for when you have the pups. I love you Rose" she says. "I love you too. I'm so happy you found Marco. Thank you for splitting your time between the packs." She smiles, "it was mom's idea."

As everyone starts to settle down, I take my seat and Lily comes over to climb into my lap. "Mommy, I'm going to be the best big sister" she says. I kiss her forehead. "I know you are. I want you to always remember how special you are sweet girl, because you are my first pup. I love you, Lily bear." "I love you too, mommy."
