My Mate Is A Witch
Chapter 115

“Because of you, Coven’s member doesn’t want me. So, can’t you forget one mistake of mine?” She asked. “When we were together, you didn’t want to give up on your Alpha title, but you did it for nothing for me. I was the one who sacrificed my powers and my Coven for you. And what did you do in return? You rejected me when I aborted our pup? Only if you will have been like this, then we have been together now.”

“I seriously have no time for all this thing, Isabella Lewis. We are ten years late to having this discussion. Now, no matter whatever reason you will give me, it won’t change the fact that I have moved on in my life.” Artemis replied. “I’m sorry that I was like this back then, but have you ever talked with it then? Nope, so why are you even discussing this NOW?”

“Emis, you…”

“I haven’t seen such a shameless woman in my entire life.” Both Artemis and Isabella’s eyes widened upon hearing that voice. Artemis looked at his mate behind his chair. Caroline made Artemis’s chair turn toward her forcefully, making Isabella look at her. She leaned, reaching her height before speaking, “He said LEAVE; if you don’t understand what he said, then I can throw you out happily.” Saying this, Caroline grabbed her wrist and yanked her from Artemis’s chair.

“You….” Isabella started using her spell, and she felt her energy and powers draining out of her body. She looked at Caroline, who had a small smirk on her lips. Immediately she stopped using her spells.

“LEAVE!!” She hissed, glaring at Isabella.

Once she left, Caroline glared at her mate. “When the hell were you going to tell m that your ex-mate is a witch?”

“I.. I…”

“We will talk about it at night. Artin is alone in flight.”

“Regina, how did you…” Artemis wanted to ask, but the moment he earned a glare from his mate, he shut his mouth. He looked at his new platinum band ring that Caroline had gifted him recently when he had stopped wearing the previous band ring.

‘Does that mean even this ring is enchanted?’ He thought.

“No, it isn’t,” Caroline answered. “I have tied my single hair around your neck; that’s why I know you can hide anything from me even if you want, and I can get all the know everything if I want.” She added. Artemis touched his neck but felt no hair tied to his neck.

“Don’t you trust me?” he asked. “I can have some privacy if I want.”

“Do you think it’s about trust?” Caroline questioned. “Then…” She chanted a spell before speaking, “You’re free now, do whatever you want.” With this, she disappeared angrily.

‘Do you want to say something? Then say it.’ Artemis said to his wolf, who kept his mouth shut, seeing his human angry.

That night Artemis didn’t go to Paris and stayed in his office, working the whole night.

Five days later!!

“You both are getting married after nine days, and the tension between you two is not ending in the last five days,” Sophia said when Caroline was letting Artin eat on his own. His clothes were tasting the food more than him, but Caroline let him try again and again.

Of course, in the end, she would have to feed him with her own hand.

“I think, mom, we should think about whether we really need this marriage or not,” Caroline muttered, shocking Sophia.

“WHATTTTT?? What did you say?”

“You heard me,” Caroline said, shrugging her shoulder.

“Caro, sweetie!! I’m almost double your age. So, if you don’t want to talk about it, then it’s fine, but at least don’t try to fool me.” Sophia said o which Caroline didn’t say a word. “You know, during your Aunt Becca’s marriage, your father didn’t have time for me, just like Artemis doesn’t have time for you.” She said, recalling those days.

“I know that part of the story, Mom,” Caroline responded. “Dad was busy preparing for the official proposal, and in our case, Artemis has already done that, and he is not preparing for nothing. You know about my powers, right? I have checked on him multiple times, and all he does is WORK, WORK, and WORK. To be honest, he is no less than Colton. That’s why I have decided not to keep an eye on him at all.” She huffed.

“Mamma…” Caroline’s eyes landed on her little munchkin, who called her Mamma instead of Caro. And the credit for this goes to Sophia. Artin didn’t want to say ‘Mom and Dad,’ maybe because those words reminded him about his previous parents.

That was she came up with other words instead of Mom and Dad. ‘Mamma and Papa’, in short, ‘Ma and Pa.’ Because except Artemis and Caroline, Artin used to call everyone with his newly formed relations ‘Uncle, Aunt, Gpa (Grandpa), Gma (Grandma), GGpa (Great Grandpa).’

“I.. am full.” He said, touching his stomach with his dirty hands.

“That’s great. Let me change your clothes.”

“And bath?”

“Ahem, ahem!! Someone loves staying in the water all the time.” Caroline teased, on which he giggled, and carrying him in her arms, she took to her room, thinking about Artemis, wondering what he would be doing at this moment.

She recalled what she had been feeling since last once before her argument with Artemis. Her mother had the power to sense souls nearby, and that was when she sensed Isabella’s soul in the home.
