My Mate Is A Witch
Chapter 136

Next morning!!!

“Papa, where is Mamma?” Artin asked when he didn’t replace Caroline anywhere in the whole penthouse.

“Sweetheart, she had to visit Uncle Calvin urgently. That’s why she left in the night.”

“Is Uncle Calvin all right?” He asked when Artemis was helping him with his school uniform.

“Yes, he is. In fact, it’s good news because he became a father yesterday, and now you have a tiny beautiful sister.” Artemis said, pinching his cheek and kissing him.

Immediately Artin stopped asking questions after hearing it.

“Don’t worry. We are not going to bring her here. You are our only child and will always be the only one.” Artemis assured his champ, who didn’t want anyone like his siblings.

“Even Uncle Santino is going to be father, isn’t it?” Artin asked, recalling the big belly of her aunt, and everyone told him that there was a baby inside it.

“Yes!! He will be the father of his second pup after one and a half months.” Artemis responded and made him sit on the chair for breakfast. Lily served them breakfast and started preparing food for Artin’s lunchbox.

“Don’t he love his first pup?” He questioned again.

“Of course, he does. Having a second pup doesn’t mean that parents don’t love the first one. Your mother is the first pup of your grandparents, but have you ever seen them loving your other uncle or aunts loving less? Hmm.”

“Having only one pup is the parents’ choice.”

After a while, Artemis drove Artin to school, and throughout the drive, Artin kept asking questions, and Artemis patiently answered him, aware of his nature very well.

He dropped him at pack’s school and was about to leave when he saw Santino with his son, who had joined the school this year.

“Uncle Arti…” He cried and ran toward him to hug him. Artemis hugged him, kneeling on his knee, and then he smiled, looking at Artin.

Holding each other’s hand, they walked into the school.

“Caroline is not at home, so ask mom to pick up both of her grandchildren after school. I forgot to call her because I was busy with Artin since morning.”

“Okay.”

“I’m so happy, Artin.” Xavier, Santino’s son, said in an excited tone. “Mom was saying that I have to take care of my little sister just like you care for me. I can’t wait to come to school with her.” He chirped.

Artin frowned and showed him into his classroom. He went to his class. That day, he observed almost all of his friends had younger or older siblings.

After school, he went to pack house to stay with his grandparent’s Uncle and Aunt.

A few hours later!!

“Sweetheart, I hope you are not disturbing anyone,” Caroline said over the video call.

“Don’t worry, Mamma. I’m behaving like a good boy.”

“That’s because you’re a good boy, my love,” Caroline said, giving him a flying k**s. “But still, be careful around your aunt. There is a small pup inside her.”

“I know it, Mamma. By the way, why haven’t you teleported yourself to meet me not even once?” Artin questioned.

“Because I couldn’t get a chance to sleep last night because of your baby sister, and then because of my stupidity, your G.Ma got a sprained ankle. That’s why I’m busy with the baby.”

“Soooo, if you can’t come here, then I can, right?”

“Sweetheart, can’t you stay a day without me?” Caroline teased, knowing that Artin was a Mamma’s boy, at least for now. “What if I say no? Hmm?” She asked with a smile.

“Mamma..please. I will bring my school bag with me.” Artin tried to convince Caroline, showing his puppy’s eyes. “And I will be back by night.”

“Let me talk with Mom first,” Caroline said, to which Artin quickly gave the phone to Sila. “Mom… I..”

“You can take your little tail with you.” Sila joked, pinching Artin’s cheek. “Everyone knows that he can’t stay away from you for long.”

Caroline smiled, hearing it. She learned in all these years that Artin had a couple of behavior similar to his biological father. And one of them was getting possessive of his things. He didn’t like sharing. And on the top, he gets his work done or wishes fulfilled by making faces or throwing tantrums.

“But I’m just worried that he won’t start hitting your niece by seeing her in your arms,” Sila muttered, looking at Artin, who was listening to their conversation.

“I won’t, Mamma. I promise.” Artin shouted.

“You better not, sweetheart, because you’re growing older, and with that, I expect some maturity in you,” Caroline warned sternly. “No one said a thing when you hit Xavier when he was a baby, but if you will repeat the same mistake, I swear I won’t talk to you because you’re no more a three or four years old boy.”

After giving a good amount of lecture, Caroline finally brought Artin with her by teleportation. The first thing that he did after reaching Calvin’s pack was he looked at the reason because of why Caroline left him at night urgently. To be honest, he wanted to threaten her to stay away from his mother, but he was caught off guard when he saw the size of the baby.

“Mamma, she is so tiny.” He said, looking at Roselet.

“I know.”

“Was Xav this small when I hit him?” He asked next.

“Yes,” Caroline replied and kept replying to his questions for hours until he was satisfied with her answers about the baby. She even placed Roselet in his lap for a while carefully and clicked his pictures with her.
