My Mate Is A Witch -
Chapter 137
Caroline might not have given birth to Artin, but she knew what was going on in his mind before. She was okay with the fact that Artin didn’t want any siblings but having a kind of obsession with her was also not a good sign, and she had to make this clear to him that she wasn’t just his mother but also an aunt now and in the future, she might be blessed with a lot of nieces and nephews.

Next morning!!
“Papa!!”
“Yes, champ!!” Artemis responded, making Artin ready for school.
“I met my little cousin’s sister yesterday.”
“I know. Your Mamma told me about it and also the fact that you didn’t mind her staying close to your mother.” Artemis appreciated him with a k**s.
“How can I? Mamma told me that she doesn’t understand anything at this age. So, it was Mamma who kept her close.” Artin explained what he came to know yesterday. “Also, Mamma told me that I will always be her and your’s first love.”
“That’s true.”
“Papa, I have a question.”
“Go ahead, champ. Ask as many questions as you want.”
“Babies come out of the stomach, then how do they go inside a stomach?” Artin asked, widening Artemis’s eyes. “Why does Aunt get pregnant and Uncle doesn’t?”
“???” Artemis.
“How Uncle Santino is going to become a father for the second time, and you didn’t become a father even once?” Artin questioned.
“Who said that I didn’t become a father even for a once?” Artemis asked this time. “You… You are my son, Artin. So, dare you say anything similar to this again.” He added sternly, pulling him in his arms.
“Always remember that love is thicker than b***d. We adopted you because we wanted to.”
“Sorry, Papa. I mean to say the father of a baby who comes from the stomach.” Artin corrected himself. How Uncle Santino is going to become a father for the second time for tiny babies, and you didn’t become a father even once?” He asked again.
Breaking the hug, Artemis replied, “It depends on older couples. They can have a lot of babies, or they can have none. Your Mamma and I decided not to have a baby other than you.”
“Why?”
“Because you don’t want siblings. So, we don’t want to make you feel insecure with the thought of another baby taking your place or something.”
Artin kept asking unlimited questions, and Artemis kept replying to him patiently until he dropped him at school.
“Papa, one last question.”
“Hmm. Go ahead.”
“Do you want to become a father again?”
“I won’t lie to you, pup. But the answer is YES. I want to take care of your Mamma at the time of pregnancy. I want to feel the pup’s kick when he or she is inside your Mamma. And there are many small moments during those days that I want to cherish with both you and your mother.”
“Ooo”
“Now, go!! You’re getting late for school. And in case of any doubts and questions that arise in your tiny mind. Talk to Mamma or me, okay?”
“Okay, Papa. Bye. “
Once he left, Bolt spoke, ‘I’ve felt that something is going on in his mind about pups. He was curious to know everything related to the newborn pup.’
‘Maybe because he has recently seen Rose, that’s why.’ Artemis suggested.
‘Yeah. Maybe’

Caroline was scrolling her social media account, and suddenly she stopped when her eyes landed on the familiar name ‘Alice Fonda Johnson’, her ex-best friend. She couldn’t help herself from checking her. Account and seeing her profile picture with a baby.
She smiled, looking at her picture with a baby girl who looked 7-8 months old.
“It seems like everyone is getting blessed with a baby girl recently.” She commented without looking at her mother. “Even Alice gave birth to a girl this year.” She added.
“I know. Colton keeps an eye on your enemies. Whether it’s Alice or Michelle.”
“But Michelle lost her memories a long ago.” Caroline pointed out. “And even she got married to some businessman.”
“Still, precaution is better than cure,” Sophia responded before adding. “But there is no news of Dylan from the past few years. And it seems like you’re not in his touch.”
“It’s because he left, Mom. Before his jealousy would have created any problem in my relationship with Artemis, he left.” Caroline said, to which Sophia raised her eyebrow. Caroline sighed before explaining everything to her mother. “He used to love me, Mom. He loved me his whole life and waited for me to reciprocate his feeling, but….” She didn’t complete the full sentence.
“That’s why he left, Mom. I hope he will be back again in my life after moving on in his life.” Caroline continued. “Now. Stop worrying about me. I don’t think that there’s any problem in my life, at least not now. All I’m worried about is Artin’s future. I wish Moon Goddess will bless him with good health and positive behavior toward everyone.”
“And I’m worried for Calvin’s future and Rose the most. I don’t know how he is going to manage everything. But I guess Rose will bring my son on the right path.” Sophia muttered, looking at Rose, who was sleeping again. “We always used to say that someday one girl will change him for the better. Little did we know that that girl would be his daughter.” She joked, caressing Rose’s thin and little brown hair.
“I’m sure they both will learn to handle each other. Moreover, we all will always be there for them.” Caroline responded.
“Hey, ladies!!” Calvin walked into the room with a messy look. He was about to go near Rose when Caroline threw sanitizer at him before he could have touched her with his dirty hands. “Moon Goddess!” He g*****d and placed fell on the bed, placing his head on Sophia’s lap.
“Did you replace something?” Caroline asked.
