My Mate Is A Witch -
Chapter 138
“Nope. Nothing.” Calvin replied, sanitizing his hands. “I’m sure this is a very well-proof plan. Whoever has done this to me has started planning all this from the day the mother of my pup became pregnant. He or she whoever has done this planned everything so perfectly in the previous three months so perfectly and so smoothly that no one could replace them, not until they would reveal their real face on their own.”
“Okay. Stop searching for them. You have a pack and business to manage, and now Rose is a bonus.” Caroline said to calm him down. “And Christmas is the first festival of your daughter. So, make sure to it should be in the best way in which you could.”
“Hmm.” Calvin hummed, looking at his mother. “But before that, I need to know each and everything that she needs, from diapers to wipes of the best brand. I have to make a list of everything so that when you all will leave after Christmas, then I will have knowledge about everything.”
Hearing it, Caroline looked at Sophia, asking about the same who looked clueless. As much as she knew her mother, there was no way she would leave this early.
“It’s Artemis’s call,” Caroline said, excusing herself from there with her phone. “Hey!!”
“I miss you so much.”
“Hmm. I can’t say the same.” Caroline teased. “I’m enjoying my time with mom and, most importantly, my niece.”
“Did you hear that, Champ? Your Mamma is enjoying her time without us.”
“WHAT? No, No, sweetheart.” Caroline panicked all of a sudden. “I miss you and your Papa.” She added, to which Artemis started laughing loudly. “Artemissss…”
“Now the camel has come down from the top of the mountain.” Artemis laughed.
“This is not funny, okay?” Caroline scolded him. “I literally got a mini-heart attack.”
Artemis continued laughing for a while before speaking, “Don’t worry. I dropped him at his school. And today, his questions were related to the newborn pup. Moon Goddess, I wonder from where all these questions come in his mind on a daily basis.”
“And Bolt sensed that his emotions were perfectly fine. I mean, no presence of anger or jealousy for anyone or say, especially for Rose.”
“Thank God. When Xav was born, even Artin was a baby. I think with Rose, he can learn to accept other kids around me.”
“Yeah! Even we think the same. As long as he is a pup, this type of behavior looks cute and adorable, but when he doesn’t change his behavior, then he might grow an obsession with you. And I have seen how Santino was obsessed with Alpha title.”
“But he changed, right?” Caroline pointed out.
“Umm.. yeah, that can be considered by destroying and messing four people’s lives. Not four, actually, but FIVE.” Artemis muttered. “The only best thing he did was he accepted Xavier, even though he is not his pup.”
“Well, everyone is not perfect like my mate.”
“That’s true.”
“I love you, hon. And I miss you so much.” Caroline confessed.
“I love you too, Regina.”

Artin was trying to pack the gift that he had got for his sister on Christmas with concentration.
“What.. is this?” Xavier asked, sitting beside him and looking at the work that Artin was doing.
“I got a doll for Rose. I’m trying to pack it so that I can give it to her on Christmas.” Artin replied, recalling how his teacher told everyone Chrismas about exchanging gifts. Until last year, he always used to collect all the gifts for everyone. For the first time, he was going to gift something to someone else.
“Noth.. nothing for me?” Xavier asked again.
“I got you a gift for you and Rose both. Your gift is reading packed.” Artin assured his little brother, who was ready to cry at any moment.
“And… and for my baby sister?”
“She is still in Aunt’s stomach,” Artin responded in confusion.
“But Mom says that she… she h..ears and sees every… everything thro her,” Xavier explained and saw his father. “Dad.. dad!!” He shouted and brought Santino near Artin. The moment Artin’s eyes landed on him, his eyes narrowed and glared at Santino.
“We… we need to… buy something for our little sister.”
“Sure, Xab. I’m busy right now. How about we go to shopping in the evening? Hmm?”
“Okay.” Xavier immediately agreed. “Come! Help Artin in…”
“No.” Artin cut him in between. “I don’t need anyone’s help,” he added, still glaring at Santino.
“But..
“Xavier, go and check on your mom. See if she needs anything until then. I will help Artin, okay?” Santino sent Xavier and looked at his first pup, who was giving him a look that he would eat him alive.
“Didn’t you hear me? I don’t need your help.” Artin said rudely when Santino sat beside him.
“Does your mother know that you talk with your elders this rudely?” Santino questioned. Artin quickly shut his mouth when Santino mentioned Caroline’s name indirectly. “I came to know that you ask a lot of questions whenever your mind is full. You can do the same,” he suggested and tried to touch the box of the doll when Artin quickly pulled it away from his reach.
Santino growled at him in a low tone, and his eyes glowed. He didn’t like a pup of merely six years old disrespecting him, but Artin didn’t bat his eyelashes and kept glaring at him.
“You’re disrespecting your Alpha, pup.”
“I’m disrespecting my REAL father,” Artin answered back. Hearing it, Santino was taken aback. A lot of questions filled his mind at that moment.
