“Yeeeee… we’re here!!!” Both Artin and Xavier shouted in excitement, running to Calvin’s pack and running into the wide field.

“Be careful, Xav, Artin!!” Caroline yelled behind them, but it looked like it was useless.

“Yeeeee!! My pups are here.” Caroline heard an ear-piercing noise and shook her head, realizing that it was none other than her sister, Tiara, who behaved like a pup with pups.

Artemis met everyone one by one; after all, he was meeting them after almost six-seven months. As usual, Tiara happily hugged him, while Liara just gave a side hug.

“Congratulation, Man.” Artemis congratulated Calvin, who might have worn fresh cloth but was a dark circle under his eyes.

“Thanks.”

“It looks like your daughter is giving you a hard time.” He teased.

“Well, what can I expect from here? She is my daughter.” Calvin smiled. “She sleeps in the day and makes me stay awake all night.” he joked.

“Thanks to Mom and dad, who are helping me in managing her,” Calvin added.

“I had never thought that I would say this but… but you will have to teach me everything because I will need it soon.” Artemis grinned.

“Hahaha!! Sure! Sure!” Calvin laughed, and hearing their conversation, Brandon too joined them.

“Really? Is Artin fine with that?” He asked in concern because he was well aware of Artin’s behavior.

“Yes!! It is his wish. Still, we thought to observe and wait for a month or two to see if he change his mind or something. If everything goes right, then by May, you will be a grandfather again.” Artemis responded, to which Brandon smiled a little.

“By the way, where is Colton?” Artemis asked when he didn’t see him anywhere.

“He can’t stay between us for long, you know,” Calvin replied meekly. “That’s why he will join us at the last moment.”

“So, how’re your studies going on?” Caroline asked Liara when the female gang sat together.

“Same!! Boring as ever.” Tiara joked.

“Tiaraaa…” Sophia scolded her for making fun of Liara’s studies.

“What happened, Mom? I didn’t say anything wrong, did I?” Tiara asked. “It has been decades since I’m earning on my own and standing on my feet, but Lee was studying even back then, Lee is studying now, and I’m scared to say she might be studying for ten years more.”

“I don’t want to be a doctor to earn money, Tee,” Liara responded. “I’m into saving all creatures’ life, and I’m proud of what I’m doing. Good things take time. Great things take a little longer.”

“And I know, when I will be the best supernatural creature doctor in the whole world one day, you will be in the line of people, feeling proud of me.” She added with a smile.

Liara looked at Caroline before replying, “My studies are going great.”

“Any updates on your mate?”

“No! No!” Both Lee and Tee said, together, shaking their head.

“Anything new in your life?” They asked Caroline while Sophia stayed quiet because she had already talked about a lot of things with Caroline when she was here until she returned back to Rome a few days back.

“Nothing important as for now but… but there can be high chances of you two becoming aunts again in the next six months.” Caroline blushed.

“What? Really?” Sophia asked in surprise, to which Caroline nodded her head with a smile.

That night, everyone stayed awake late, playing games with singing songs while Artin and Saxier ran here and there, playing with other pack members’ pups until the clock hit twelve at night. Everyone started wishing each other while Sophia was waiting for her only child, who wasn’t there.

After wishing everyone, she started walking toward the main entry gate of the pack. Colton told her that he would be there by twelve, but now, he was five minutes late.

“Where is G. Ma going?” Artin asked, looking at Sophia.

“Even though she doesn’t have a wolf, she sensed that her son was here,” Brandon replied, sensing Colton at the entrance of the pack.

Sophia sensed the change in the air and smiled, realizing Colton was near. She started, walking quickly now.

“Merry Christmas, Mom.” She heard behind her. She quickly turned and found Colton behind her.

“Colton.” She smiled and hugged him tightly.

“How do you always sense me without any power?” He asked, kissing her hair. The fact that Sophia was just a human, Colton used to feel relaxed around her.

“You won’t understand that,” Sophia said and lifted her head up to look at his face. There used to be a time when she used to kneel down to reach his height. “Come, everyone is waiting for you!”

“Everyone?” He asked, arching his brow.

“I mean just family members. I know you don’t like gathering.” Sophia said to which Colton didn’t react and picked Sophia in his arms.

“Colt… Colton!! What are you doing?” Sophia laughed, and in the next second. She was between everyone, and her hair looked like a mess. “You and your stupid speed.” She complained, smacking his chest, on which everyone giggled. Colton put her down carefully before speaking, “Merry Christmas, Everyone.”
