Oh, come on!! Not like this.” Calvin said and hugged his twin’s brother. “But like this, isn’t it guys?”

“Of course!!” Tiara screamed loudly again, making everyone’s ear bleed, and jumped on Colton to hug him. One by one, everyone hugged him.

“I won’t be visiting you guys ever again if you’re going to hug me or k**s me,” Colton said sternly after a few minutes. “Do you think this is funny? I might harm you all,” he added, frowning.

“At the same time, we know that you won’t,” Liara spoke, earning a glare from her big brother. It wasn’t just a glare, but Colton had an aura for him because of which everyone’s wolves were sitting on the edge, scared of him.

“Uncle Colt….” Artin came running toward him, holding Xavier’s hand. Caroline had asked him to stay with Xavier; that was why they both were glued together. “When did you come? I just left with Xav because he had to go to the washroom. You weren’t here then, and now you’re here.”

“You and your questions!!” Colton shook his head. “Here!! I got something for you both,” he said, pulling out chocolates from his pocket.

“Thank you, Uncle Colt.” Xavier was the first to take it, and then Artin. He caressed their hair and looked around. “Where is my niece, by the way?”

“Colton looks so scary now, doesn’t he?” Artemis asked, entering his room. “I felt like I was sitting with my death when he was around and Bolt disappeared in fear in his presence.”

“I know. Except for mom and the pups, everyone felt his power. If he will not replace his mate sooner, then that day is not far when we will lose him forever.”

“Oh, come on!! Not like this.” Calvin said and hugged his twin’s brother. “But like this, isn’t it guys?”

“I’m sure. One day he will replace his happy ending.” He said, wrapping his arms around her waist.

“Just like I found my happy ending,” Caroline said, turning around to look into his eyes and capturing his lips passionately, not leaving it until they were out of breath.

“It’s not the end, Regina. But a new beginning.” With this, he captured her lips this time. The moment he lifted her in the air, Caroline wrapped her legs around his waist. “Moon Goddess! It’s been four years but I can never get enough of you.” He mumbled, throwing on the bed on which Caroline’s body bounced on the bed.

She was breathing heavily and opened her arms for him.

“Guess what? The fire is the same on both sides.”

“I love you so much,” Artemis muttered, hovering over her.

“I love you too, hon.”

Five months later!!!

“Aaahhhh!!!” Caroline cried in pain, making Artemis horrified. He knew that the delivery of a baby was tough but hearing his mate crying in pain was also scaring him. “Honey… honey!! I will die.” She screamed in pain.

“Of course not, sweetheart!! Stop blabbering stupid things.” Artemis motivated her. “Just push it. Push it a little hard.”

Caroline was feeling tired now, but the pup was not ready to come out on top; Artemis’s voice was irritating her. Without her knowledge, she slapped Artemis’s cheek.

“What the hell do you think I’m doing?” She yelled. At first, he was taken aback, but somehow he calmed down, knowing that it was Caroline’s pregnancy mood swings and also the situation in which she was right now. “Urrrgghhhh”

“I’m sure. One day he will replace his happy ending.” He said, wrapping his arms around her waist.

“Bae, absorb my power to handle the pain and push harder,” Artemis said, holding Caroline’s hand, who had forgotten about her powers at that moment.

“Just a little more, Mrs. Gosling. The pup is almost out.”

Caroline wanted to use the spell to absorb Artemis’s power to relieve the pain, but at that moment, it looked like she had forgotten all the spells she knew.

“Push, Sarah! Push a little harder!! You can do it. I know.” Caroline kept pushing and pushing harder until her scream was replaced by the cry of their newborn pup.

“Huwah! Huwah!” The sound of the pup was music to both Caroline and Artemis. Tears filled in Caroline’s eyes, hearing her daughter’s crying voice.

The doctor placed her doctor on her chest, who just came out and was crying angrily. Even Artemis’s eyes moistened, witnessing this moment. Caroline tried to calm her down, but she was crying and giving angry expressions at the same time as if she was mad at everyone for bringing her out of her spot.

“I’m sorry, honey.” Caroline apologized when the doctor took their pup to clean her.

“It’s okay, babe,” Artemis muttered, wiping the bead of sweat from her forehead. “The pain of your slap is nothing in front of the pain that you went through. And most important, anything for you.”
