Chapter 1601 Delete Them

[Could you please do me a favor and go check on Gideon at the hospital?]

[Ms. Campbell, just do me a favor and answer Gideon's call. Go to the hospital to see him, and explain your relationship with him!]

[Sally, you're really something, sleeping around with everyone!]

Elijah gazed at Sally, color draining from his face gradually.

Slightly furrowing his brows, he reached out and took the phone from her hand.

"Don't..." Sally instinctively didn't want Elijah to see the hurtful words those people had said about her. But after some consideration, she withdrew her hand.

Elijah wore a somber look on his face as he quickly scanned a few messages.

"Are you going to the hospital?" He asked.

Sally frowned. "Why should I?"

Almost instinctively, she raised her defensive barriers against Elijah, showing her thorns.

However, in the instant their gazes met, she pulled back all those thorns. "I just don't understand. Why do these friends of Gideon think I'm holding him back? Did I disappoint him?" "Do you want to fight back with insults?" Elijah inquired.

Sally looked at Elijah, startled for a moment, then all the distress on her face vanished, and she burst out laughing, "Do you even know how to insult someone?"

As she spoke, she took the phone from Elijah. "Why waste our energy on them? I'll just delete these after our wedding."

"Why not delete them now?"

"They're criticizing me for getting married, right? So I'll let them see me getting married while looking so beautiful, and then I'll delete them."

Elijah finally showed some joy. He embraced Sally and placed a gentle, delicate kiss on her neck.

"Don't bite!" Sally warned in a hushed voice.

Elijah was a bit rebellious. Then, he lightly nibbled on her neck.

Sally smiled quietly.

Amidst their laughter and playful banter, Elijah began again.

In the end, the two of them spent another day together.

The next morning, hand in hand, Sally and Elijah checked out of their room and headed to the parking lot. "Sally."

Just as they found the car and Elijah was about to open the car door for Sally, they heard someone calling her.

Sally could still recognize Gideon's voice. She turned around.

Gideon's forehead was wrapped in a bandage.

He looked exhausted, disheveled, and devoid of his usual handsome charm.

Sally looked at him. Then, she glanced at Elijah.

To be frank, she was amazed by how her feelings had changed in such a short period of time. Gideon was no longer of any importance to her.

Gideon's car accident wasn't serious.

He had bumped his head, and due to exhaustion, he had slept in the hospital for half a day.

When he woke up, he thought he would see Sally. But in the hospital room, there were only his friends who had rushed over.

At that moment, he felt anxious. But he figured maybe she didn't know yet, and maybe she was on her way.

After all, he knew she loved him so much and wouldn't bear to leave him alone after he got hurt.

So, he waited and waited.

His parents came. His other relatives in Europe came, and even Byron had video-called him to inquire about his condition.

The whole world was worried about him. Except for Sally.

"Do you know I had an accident?" Gideon's eyes were red. He was struggling to hold back his emotions. When he saw Sally holding hands with another man, he felt his head buzzing.
