Chapter 1704 How Did You Do

Paul walked over.

"Mrs. Crawford, Uncle Byron."

"Did you see Mia rush in just now?" Athena asked.

"I did, but she ran too fast, so I couldn't say hi to her," Paul replied.

Byron felt relieved.

It seemed that Mia wasn't too interested in Paul. She had run past him without even recognizing him.

"About the rankings..." Athena began hesitantly.

Paul looked a bit awkward as he answered, "First in the grade."

"Amazing!" Athena gave him a thumbs-up.

Paul always became shy when praised. "Mrs. Crawford, I need to go home and pack. I'll leave now."

"Sure, go ahead. I'll call a car to pick you up later, and you can stay in Lakin tonight. We'll leave together early tomorrow morning," Athena said with a gentle smile.

Paul nodded and quickly left.

Byron was speechless.

Dorian watched Ottilie as she went into the campus.

Upon hearing Athena's words, he was a bit puzzled. "Sir, wasn't he saying that Miss Mia Newton needed to come in first for him to continue tutoring her?" Byron gave him a look. "Think again."

Dorian pondered for a moment before suddenly understanding the situation. "Miss Mia Newton came in first!"

Athena laughed heartily.

Mia rushed into the campus like a rocket and ran toward the whiteboard displaying the rankings.

Her classmates, who were already there, greeted her excitedly.

"Mia, you came in first! First!"

Mia's deskmate rushed to her side, tugging at her arm and then pointing at the top of the whiteboard.

There was only one name on the very top.

Then, Mia saw her own name written on the top of it.

Mia froze for a while, then hugged her classmates and screamed in excitement,

"What about you guys?" Mia asked.

"We're all in the top thirty!" Her deskmate replied immediately.

In the second half of the semester, Mia showed great enthusiasm for her studies and even became the leader of a small study group.

Her classmates followed her lead, and their grades improved significantly.

"That's fantastic! Let's keep it up next semester. My parents and my brother are waiting for me. We'll meet up later!" Mia said and hugged her friends one by one. Then, she quickly ran back. When she reached the schoolyard, she encountered her parents and brother, who were leisurely walking over.

"Daddy!" Mia rushed towards Byron. "I did it! I came in first, but it was really close. Second place was only six points behind me!"

"Great job, Mia!" Byron immediately praised her, "What reward would you like?"

"I don't want anything!" Mia shook her head vigorously. "I just want Daddy to get better, and I don't want anything else!"

Byron was almost brought to tears.

He knelt down, hugged Mia, and gently patted her back. "Good girl. I will get better soon."

"Okay!" Mia nodded vigorously.

Then, she looked at Athena, her excitement growing. "Mommy! Mommy! Call Paul now!"

Byron felt speechless.

"Paul already knew that you came in first," Athena reassured her, caressing Mia's chubby little face, "After you pack your stuff, I will have someone pick him up." "That's great! My perfect summer vacation has officially begun!"

Athena was delighted and reminded Mia, "We still need to go to your brother's school. Hurry up to pick up your summer homework."

"Okay!"

Mia ran off like a whirlwind once again.

Not long after, Ottilie, who had finished checking her grades and getting her summer homework, slowly walked over.

Dorian hurried over to take her homework. "How did you do?" He asked.
