Mike had pinned Beatrice's head down, pressing her to the ground.

Mia ran out from the back of the crowd. She spread her arms and stood in front of Evie.

Mia looked at Beatrice fiercely. "Why are you so mean? Evie is pregnant now!"

All of this happened in just a few seconds.

Suzy stood up quickly. "You! How dare you throw a shoe at my daughter-in-law!"

"Are you okay?" Athena quickly walked to Evie's side.

Evie nodded. "I'm fine!"

"What are you all doing?" Aron was angrier than he had ever been.

He shouted at the security.

The air seemed to drop a few degrees because of Aron's anger.

"Aron, I'm okay, I'm okay!" Evie hurriedly comforted Aron.

Aron's face turned pale, and there was lingering fear in his eyes.

"She ruined my life! I wish she were dead!" Beatrice screamed.

Then Beatrice met Aron's cold gaze.

He helped Evie up and glanced at Beatrice. Then he looked at Evie with tender eyes and said, "Let's go."

"Okay."

Evie nodded.

She touched Mia, who stood protectively and angrily in front of her.

"Mia, let's go."

Evie gently tousled Mia's hair.

This morning, after Mia woke up and had breakfast, Paul took her to study. She hadn't even tied her hair.
