Later, Logan glanced at Aron with a critical expression on his face.

In the evening, the Timberlake family had another lively dinner and took Evie to the best maternity hospital in Northern Canakey.

Once Evie was admitted to the hospital, a tricky situation followed.

"I'm Evie and Aron's uncle, and I must be here with her. I'm a night owl, so I don't require much sleep. I can stay awake all night and sit in the hallway!"

"I'm their great aunt! I should be with them. You are guests, and guests should go back home and rest!

Evie didn't finish speaking before the ward door swung open, and Sally's head popped out.

Evie laughed immediately. "Hurry up! Let me have a few bites!"

Sally entered, carrying a barbecue box and Evie's favorite drink.

She took a bite and found the grilled meat and barbecue sauce perfectly blended. It tasted delicious.

"Hey, want to gossip?" Sally looked at Athena and Evie and spoke in a mysterious tone while eating. "Sure!" Evie replied immediately, "Whose gossip?"

"It was about the Quinn family," Sally said dismissively, "This afternoon, in a group chat, someone mentioned the Quinn family's situation. Can you guess how chaotic the Quinn family has become since they departed from Northern Canakey?"

"How chaotic?" Evie asked.

"Let's talk about Daphne first. Initially, Samuel pampered her so much that he couldn't bear to say a word against her. However, after they departed from Northern Canakey, everything changed. She was beaten by Samuel every day."

"Daphne seems clever. Why doesn't she leave him when she has been mistreated?" Evie disliked Daphne, but she didn't want Daphne to suffer from abuse.

"Where are Beatrice and Roland? Don't they care about her? Don't the neighbors call the police?" Evie asked in shock.
