Chapter 1754 She Was Disappeared

Sally leaned in and whispered, "Guess how much money she managed to swindle in the last five years?"

"How much?" Evie was curious.

"She's got around eight million dollars," Sally said, taking out her phone and showing a message to Athena and Evie.

Beatrice had deceived many people. One person had purchased luxury bags from her worth over a million dollars. However, upon examination, it was discovered that none of the bags were genuine. "That's quite an exaggeration. Beatrice could at least mix in some genuine ones with the fakes. She's gutsy!" Evie marveled.

"All these people have reported her to the police, but Beatrice seems to have disappeared. Her parents are in jail, Roland is gone, and she's nowhere to be seen!" Sally paused.

Evie quickly caught on to her implication and said, "Aron wouldn't harm her. Don't even think about gruesome stuff!"

"We truly are good friends. You can even guess what I'm thinking about!" Sally teased.

Evie responded with a helpless expression.

"Then Athena, you..." Sally looked at Athena quietly.

Athena was speechless.

"Athena wouldn't do that either!" Evie promptly defended her.

Sally chuckled, "I know, just joking!"

She never doubted Athena.

Although Athena appeared indifferent, she was the one who carried out the most good deeds.

She wouldn't resort to killing someone just because a shoe was thrown at Evie.

If she were that ruthless, Evie's ex-boyfriend would have died.

But when it came to Aron, things were a bit more uncertain...

Just then, Aron's video call came in.

The three hastily put away the barbecue box. Evie wiped her mouth clean and answered the video call with a joyful smile.

Athena and Sally didn't want to intrude on their romantic moment, so they took the barbecue box and headed to the small balcony outside the hospital room to eat. "Show me more gossip about Beatrice," Athena said as she reached out to Sally.

Evie was sweetly chatting with Aron. Sally glanced back at her and whispered to Athena, "Athena, do you also think Aron killed Beatrice?"

Athena chuckled and sighed.

And she gently patted Sally's forehead. "You have an active imagination. Aron is superstitious now. He wouldn't do something like that for the sake of his wife and child." "I see," Sally replied.

She handed her phone to Athena, showing her the gossip about Beatrice.

Meanwhile, she munched on a roast beef, pondering. "If it wasn't Aron, then who did it? Mike or Emily?"

"How can you be so sure that Beatrice has already died?" Athena asked helplessly.

"Just think about it. Roland has died, but she's completely disappeared. Based on my experience watching many crime documentaries, it's more likely than not that she's gone," Sally explained. Athena noticed a message on the phone while Sally was talking to her.

Someone managed to check Beatrice's recent call records and bank card activities.

Results showed that her bank card hadn't seen any activity since the day she was exposed for selling fake luxury bags.

Additionally, she hadn't made a single phone call either.

Her WhatsApp account was deactivated, and she hadn't logged into other social media accounts.

Indeed, based on this analysis, there was a possibility that Beatrice was dead.

However, it would be premature to draw a definitive conclusion since it had only been about ten days.

"I realized that Emily once said that the Quinn family would reap what they sowed, and now it has all come true." Sally drank the coke, her face full of admiration. "The Quinn family's string of bad luck is happening surprisingly quickly."
