Chapter 1770 I Know I Was Wrong

Gideon took the cat back to the bedroom.

Still dull, he went to the bar, poured two glasses of tepid water, walked back to the living room, put the water in front of Athena, and sat opposite her.

"Did Evie give birth?"

"Yes," Athena nodded. "Super cute little girl."

"Congratulations," Gideon nodded and drank some water. "Is Sally over there?"

"Yeah," Athena nodded again. "How about you? How are you recovering?"

Gideon smiled wryly and looked up at Athena, "Mrs. Crawford, do you think I'm likely to recover?"

People always said.

Time was the medicine that could heal everything.

Gideon comforted Byron in the same way as before.

But it was Gideon's turn.

Gideon could only know that time was not a good medicine but a chronic poison that couldn't be removed.

"Is this why you madly made your former childhood friends suffer?" Athena asked helplessly.

Gideon immediately frowned.

He wanted to ask if Sally had asked Athena to come and see him.

Now there was no need to ask.

"Fred has collapsed, and he has been looking for me and Byron for several days," Athena looked at Gideon. "Gideon, what do you think? You have already broken up with Sally. Are you going to turn against all your friends?"

"You leave this matter alone," Gideon drank the water and put down the glass. "Get busy with your matters. I know how to deal with mine."

After saying, Gideon planned to go back to his room.

Athena sighed.

Standing up and looking at Gideon's slender and decadent back, Athena asked, "Gideon, have you thought about how many people you will offend by doing this? You don't care about your future. What about the Hale family?"

Gideon didn't stop at all.

Athena simply raised her voice and asked again, "What about Sally?"

Gideon stopped.

Finally, he turned his head, "What does this have to do with Sally?"

"You are high and mighty. No matter what you do, you always have a powerful backup from the Hale family. But Sally doesn't have!" Athena frowned, "You drove others into a desperate situation. Even if Sally didn't do anything, those people also said you went crazy for Sally. They may not dare to offend you. Will they mess with Sally?"

Gideon frowned. "They dare not!"

"They won't do it ostensibly. How about doing it behind you?" Athena stared at Gideon, "Car crash. Accidents. If Sally goes overseas, those people can just spend a few thousand dollars to buy off a small gang and create a fight with Sally present!"

"Stop talking!" Gideon's face turned pale instantly.

"Stop it. We can still deal with the aftermath now," Athena said earnestly, "Gideon, everyone is moving forward. You should also let go of this past and continue to live your life!"

"I can't let go!" Gideon roared angrily.

Athena didn't say anything.

"We had been together for sixteen years. Most of my life has been connected with her since I could think like an adult. Many of my habits were formed because of her. How do I let go?" Gideon asked, almost crying.

"Then don't let it go. With this past, you won't be able to live a normal life, right?" Athena asked, "Now you look like you got dumped by Sally after over ten years of emotional abuse. Is that funny?" During this time.

Including Gideon's parents.

Everyone around Gideon was cautious.

No one would dare to scold Gideon as Athena did.

Gideon frantically pulled his hair several times.

He was so short of breath that he had to stand still and take a deep breath, then he looked at Athena, "I know I was wrong..."
