Chapter 1795 Almost Got Zero

Mia finished writing her test paper.

It's lunchtime.

As soon as she went out.

She Just saw this scene.

"Mrs. Patterson... are you going to kidnap the little meow?"

"No, this little meow was originally Mrs. Patterson's. Your Mommy brought it to me, and now I am going to take it home!" Sally said happily.

Mia nodded her head in disbelief.

She was flying off to carry out the cat food.

Elijah saw this and immediately went up to take it.

"Mr. Elijah Patterson, you be good to Meow!" Mia was as worried as ever.

Even though she just met the little cat in the morning.

"Don't worry, Mia, I will." Elijah stroked Mia's little head.

Elijah liked Mia very much.

She had no arrogance of a young lady from a rich family, rather she was warm and pure, very kind, and at a very young age, she had an insight into other people's sorrows, joys, pleasures, and sufferings.

Mia then walked back to the kitten.

She told the kitten to be good.

After Sally and Elijah took the cat and left.

Mia then bounced around, looking for her dad.

Byron was looking at Imbe Group's financial statement for the last quarter.

"Daddy!"

Mia went in, singing songs.

She shouted cheerfully.

Then she was confronted by Byron, frowning, looking severe and appalled.

She froze immediately.

Byron returned to his senses momentarily and hurriedly got up. "What brings you here, baby? Are you all done with your test paper?"

Mia nodded gently. "Daddy, what just happened to you?"

Byron was bewildered. "Daddy was just looking at the company's financial statements."

"Are the finances bad? Daddy, you were so mean just now." Mia instantly forgot about her dad's scary look and took the initiative to go forward and lean into Byron's arms, asking, "Did you lose a lot of money?" "No, Mommy wins back a lot. We didn't lose any money and we even made a lot." Byron tenderly touched his daughter's cheek. "Maybe Daddy looked too serious and scared you? I'm sorry..."

Mia shook her head and said, "Daddy, let me lead you for a walk. It's not good to be sedentary!"

"Okay..." Byron was gentle and loving.

It made little Mia doubt that she had just looked at him wrong and Dad wouldn't be that fierce!

Even in the past, Byron wouldn't be mean to her!

She was thinking like this.

Mia, who held Byron's big hand and chattered about how Paul's questions were becoming increasingly complex, put her momentary fear aside.

She almost got a zero on the test!

On the way out.

Mia also went to check on her brother Aiden and Ottilie.

Aiden was still in the video conference and Ottilie was working on her writing.

Paul was also writing hard.

His daily energy now has to be divided into three parts. Daily study, giving Mia lessons, and brushing up on competition questions.

So, most of the time, Paul was in his room, and occasionally, at dusk, he would be dragged out by Mia to play.

"Dad."

Mia tilted her head to look at Byron.

Byron had thought that his daughter would be psychologically burdened by all the other kids studying.

Who knew...

"Let's be quiet!" Mia lowered her voice. "Don't get caught!"

Byron froze for a moment.

He then laughed helplessly.

He'd almost forgotten that his baby, ah, was never psychotic when it came to pleasure.

He nodded.

Also imitating Mia and lowering his voice. "Okay, quietly..."

Then father and daughter, catatonic, left the yard.
